Description of Work: They rerouted plumbing, laid pipeline and connected house to public sewer system. They also decommissioned the old septic system. The project went well. There was a burst pipe before we were switched to the public sewer, but they came out within an hour that evening to fix the problem. They did minimal damage to the landscaping and finished by laying additional mulch and seeding the grassy areas.

Description of Work: Cleared blockage in sewer line within house. Two toilets were impacted. They were unable to get one toilet unseated and had significant struggle with the second one. Consequently it took them longer than I would have thought it should have. However, they returned at no cost to complete caulking around toilet they pulled up as they did not have matching color on the truck. Better experience than I've had with some other plumbers.

The drains were cleared without a big sell attempt for extensive work (which has happened in the past when I hired the big companies you see on the billboards and on the sides of buses. It was actually a much more difficult job than the plumber originally thought because it wasn't hooked up correctly to begin with.

I e-mailed Brian at Pioneer about a problem I was having with low hot water pressure in my kitchen sink and he replied with a drawing of all of the relevant parts in the system and then over the phone went over what the potential problems would be and the solutions to those problems. Pioneer was able to schedule an appointment with me pretty rapidly and the plumber that came out actually was able to use a little trick to clear some sediment build-up out of the hot water line (old cast-iron pipes) that resulted in about a 20-minute service call instead of what I was expecting: half a day of work to install a new hot-water line to the kitchen.

Was able to quickly schedule an appointment with Pioneer for the day and time I wanted. The plumber showed up a little bit early and went right to work. He explained everything as he worked, answered other questions I had about our fixtures, and made some suggestions about other things that might need fixing (but didn't try to sell me anything). He was in and out quickly. I was a little concerned about the price, as I had not gotten an estimate first, but the charge was at the low end of what I'd been expecting. I would describe this as a perfect service experience. I am thinking of having a new bathroom put in, and if I do, will call them first.

I VERY STRONGLY RECOMMEND PIONEER PLUMBING. I JUST BOUGHT A HOUSE, AND NEEDED SOME WORK. MY HOME INSPECTOR RECOMMENDED PIONEER PLUMBING. I CALLED AND TALKED TO BRIAN WHO SET ME UP WITH AN APPOINTMENT THE FOLLOWING WEEK WITH KEVIN. KEVIN CALLED ME THE DAY BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT, AND WE AGREED ON 8 A.M. AS A START TIME. KEVIN SHOWED UP RIGHT ON TIME, TOOK A QUICK LOOK AT WHAT I NEEDED DONE, AND WENT STRAIGHT TO WORK. KEVIN SHOWED ME AND EXPLAINED TO ME EVERYTHING HE WAS DOING, AND GAVE ME OPTIONS ON HOW TO ACCOMPLISH WHAT I WANTED. KEVIN IS VERY PERSONABLE, POLITE, AND RESPECTFUL OF YOUR HOME AND PETS (EVEN MY 100 LB. DOBERMAN PUPPY!). I FELT BAD BECAUSE I WAS HAVING A RANGE HOOD INSTALLED AT THE SAME TIME KEVIN WAS UNDER MY KITCHEN SINK, AND IT GOT A LITTLE CROWDED, BUT KEVIN TOOK IT ALL IN STRIDE, AND EVEN LENT THE RANGE HOOD INSTALLER HIS FLASHLIGHT! PIONEER BILLS BY THE HOUR (KEVIN WORKED NONSTOP FOR 7.5 HOURS, NO COFFEE BREAKS, ETC.) AND CHARGES VERY LITTLE FOR PARTS.
Description of Work: INSTALLED NEW KITCHEN FAUCET/HOSE, NEW GARBAGE DISPOSAL, PTRAPS AND VALVES ON KITCHEN SINK. CORRECTED SHOWER AND FAUCETS THAT WERE BACKWARDS (HOT/COLD). INSTALLED ICEMAKER LINE UNDER CRAWLSPACE TO FRIDGE. REPLACED WASTE/OVERFLOW LINE FOR TUB/SHOWER AND TUB/SHOWER VALVE AND TRIM. INSTALLED PIPE PLUG ON PREEXISTING ICEMAKER LINE.
