Had suspected leak in kitchen ceiling, A plumber came out and cut two large holes in the ceiling. Purchased the big deal from Phinney Ridge Painting for fours of painting services for $149. we set up an appointment and they came exactly on time on the first day they replaced the dry wall and mudded and explained they had to come back the next day to sand and texture. They again were on time and I was again amazed at the care taken to screen the areas to ensure no over spray of the texturing and the attention to detail. My expectations were exceeded, and I highly recommend them. Their professionalism, and craftsmanship are unsurpassed in my experience. I have more painting projects ahead and look foreword to using them again. Thanks Nik

They were punctual about returning my call. Even though they were very busy from the promotion they were running they scheduled me in less than two weeks. They performed as advertised. Did great job, no fuss no muss! I would use them again. In fact maybe it's time I called them to come back and do it again!

Sam, Nik and their crew did a fantastic job with our project. The quote was highly detailed, the work was professional and friendly, and they made what could have been a difficult project to manage (multiple home owners, no home owners association) easy for everyone. It was a while before I heard back from them after purchasing the deal. I found out later that the man was very ill. He sent out a coworker who did not meet my needs. I asked for pet-friendly moss killer which he did not have in the truck so he went out to buy the product himself and said it was pet-friendly (when I went to check on my own, I found out it was not). The cleanup also was not very good and I had to clean up a lot of areas myself after the pressure washing. Overall unprofessional.

I am a perfectionist. In our efforts to refurbish our 1910 house, we search exhaustively for contractors who have a passion for their work, have reasonable prices, are fair, and have great reputations. From the initial estimate with Nik (who can explain the detailed science of paint!), to the follow up with Sam, my husband and I were overwhelmingly satisfied with Phinney Ridge Painting. Our house was a diamond in the rough when we bought it. We knew that the right paint job would turn our drab looking house into a showpiece. Included in the estimate is a consultation with a color consultant which proved invaluable. Though my husband and I generally agreed on the same color, we could not agree on the exact hue. Within an hour, Rebecca had us in agreement on the color. Painting a house is a huge investment, so it was vital to be reassured of the color selection before painting. It's all in the prep work - I have heard that before, but it's so true with paining an old house. Gerardo and Luis - like myself - are perfectionists and took painstaking steps to make sure each square inch of our house was properly sanded, scraped, caulked, and that the adjacent house was protected. And when it was time for the paint, it was the same experience: Gerardo and Luis took the time to do the job right, never taking any shortcuts. They both treated our house as if it was their own home, and put the time and skill into an immaculate paint job. Not only were Gerardo and Luis excellent craftsmen, but they are a pleasure to be around. We have a small toddler, and they were both so sweet to her. They were an absolute joy to be around and I miss our daily coffee. Phinney Ridge Painting is top notch contractor. Professional, experts and you get a quality product. Look no further.

They were very open about the risks of pressure washing the exterior of a home that is old enough to have lead paint. They offered us an alternative of hand cleaning the green stains instead. Overall the work was well-done.

The employees at phinney ridge painting are incredible. they are the kindest, qualified, professional group of people. The antenna they installed was missing some pieces so they went to the hardware store and got the missing pieces.

We got the angie's list big deal for gutter cleaning. They were in, out, courteous, on time, and no hidden fees. We also had them do some exterior pressure washing and cleaned off all the moss. Great experience!

We found a condo that was perfect but the previous owner had applied heavily textured clay and plaster finishes to the walls. This was the exact opposite of the clean, white, smooth walls we wanted. The transformation required multiple steps of skimming and sanding before the walls were ready for priming and painting. We also needed the work done on a tight schedule to be finished in time for move. Phinney Ridge did such an absolutely perfect job that when they were finished it was impossible to tell that the walls had not been perfectly smooth to begin with. The paint job was meticulous. They were extremely professional in every step beginning with the first step of plastic covering and taping to the final clean up. And most importantly, the final product was perfect. We would highly recommend Phinney Ridge if you are looking for high quality work or have a difficult job.

I was able to get a quick response and have the job completed within a couple weeks of reaching out. I supplied my own paint to match what we already had since it was a re-paint. I bought he wrong finish for the bathroom. They explained why I needed semigloss over matte and quickly picked up the matching color. Plus they were able to buy it cheaper than I did! They left the place clean and the job looks great.

NICE ENOUGH, BUT THEY COULD HAVE BEEN MORE THOROUGH. I PAID FOR UP TO 4 HOURS, THEY WERE DONE IN A COUPLE (KIDS TRYING TO MOVE ON QUICKLY) THEIR PRESSURE WASHER WASN’T THAT POWERFUL, SO THE JOB WAS NOT AS GOOD AS IT COULD HAVE BEEN.

Things couldn't have gone any better. We purchased their big deal on Angies list, and scheduled an appointment with them. They were responsive throughout, and showed up on time to complete the job. The 2 gentlemen were very friendly and professional, and got done cleaning the gutters and pressure washing in less than 2 hours. The price was very reasonable as well.

Provider called the next day I purchased service and offered a 8 am appointment. I accepted, he then told me since the offer was 4 hour gutter cleaning or 4 hour pressure washing. If they had time left from gutter cleaning I could use pressure washing. They cleaned my gutters and spent one hour cleaning my sidewalk. Sidewalk was sparkling. Happy with deal. On time, did the job, good deal.

Phoned about 45 minutes early and asked if they could arrive early - I said yes. I gave them the Christmas lights and group of extension cords - and they went to work for about an hour and a half. They did a terrific job!

It worked pretty well. They were flexible, extremely responsive, and showed up on time. I was at work when they came, so they took my directions, moved things out of the way without charging me anything, and they did more than I expected.

Some small bits were left over, which was odd as it only took them 2 hours to do the work and the deal was for four hours. Still, I would definitely consider using this firm in the future.

They were pleasant,and I have no complaint about them. I don't remember the reason that they were unable to do the job. I had company coming for Christmas and needed it done before they arrived.

Used them in the past for pressure washing / gutter cleaning. This time - got them to hang up lights. Provided them with stringers, bulk wire, and individual C9 light-bulbs - and they put them up in about 3 hours - with a very professional result.

Two young men arrived on time and asked me to show them what I wanted down. They listened carefully and seem to understand exactly what was needed. They advised me on the best way to proceed and completed the job without needing further attention. When they were finished with each project, they asked that I check to make sure it was the way I wanted. A couple suggestions were made and carried out. They worked in a timely manner and the moss was completely cleaned from the alley and it looks great. I was surprised how much moss could be brushed off the tile roof. I was very pleased with the work.

Two gentlemen arrived as scheduled and promptly began the work. They were professional, and their work of thorough and completed after about 3.5 hours. Nothing was damaged, and all debris was cleared. I would definitely use their service again, particularly at that price.
