I can't say enough positive things about my experience and their employee Steve. Proficient, fast and friendly.

Spectacular! Steve was on time, super efficient, and outstanding workmanship.

Be aware that price quoted is not the total price. We were quoted a price plus tax. Quote did not include $145 of parts for a standard hot water heater replacement. This pricing is more akin to airfare pricing in the old days. More upset at the plumber for attempting to lift the new hot water heater about 18 inches off the floor (rather standard in the houses we have lived in) by using a washing machine hose as a strap around the hot water heater. He was able to get it in place on the sixth attempt. The new water heater was set down on the concrete floor way to hard to suit me. We can only hope that the glass liner was not cracked.

A friend staying was staying in our house while we were out of town for an extended period of time. She noticed that our basement tub looked as if there was some sewage that came up from the pipe. I knew this was very likely just due to the tub being unused for quite a while, but she insisted we call a plumber. We called O'Neill plumbing to come out on a non-emergency visit to check the basement tub for issues. They had availability the next day, between 10 and 12. The plumber didn't show up until around 2pm. He said he'd give us a break on price, so the $275 price tag is apparently discounted in some way. Seems dubious. He was there for about half an hour and said there wasn't any problem with the drain, just to run the water more often. He looked and said there might be some maintenance needed later to the main drain line. He also replaced a few parts on the tub drain while he was there that weren't strictly needed. I think he just wanted to have something to show for showing up. Total time in our home was less than an hour, which was why the $275 bill was such a surprise (almost all of that being labor).

We were in an emergency situation. All our house drains to the same outlet, and it was backing up to a basement room. Steve arrived after hours as expected and was extremely efficient and we appreciate him a lot.

Ben was excellent. He addressed all of my issues swiftly and with purpose. If anything, he could have slowed down a little bit to explain more and ensure we'd worked through options, but no real complaints on that front. The biggest challenge was the old (100 years?) pedestal tub drain. The pull stop mechanism was not secured to the drain plug, which was inside old plumbing. I wanted to retain the porcelain knob and mechanism. With some creative jerry-rigging and use of various parts, he managed to fix it and it works as designed. He also advised on how I should determine whether my storm drains are functioning properly, with a little self-help suggestion too on how to repair if they showed any problems. I definitely appreciated not overspending on that. Ben left by leaving his number and welcoming any follow up on any issues. I'd definitely use O'Neill again.

I called after hours and had a plumber here within the hour. The plumber fixed my downstairs toilet and a leaky faucet and checked my outdoor water meter for accuracy.(and gave me my angie's liist discount) This is the best plumber (Steve) I have ever encountered.

It went really well! They were thorough, they explained what they were doing as they did, they cleaned up after themselves and they were done when they said they were going to be done. When I met Tim O'Neill, who is the owner of the company, he came over to fix a main pipe out to the sewer clogged and he cleared it quickly. He said that his whole reason for starting his own plumbing business was to provide a fair and honestly priced service.

Very pleased with the service from O'Neill Plumbing. We had a backed up kitchen sink that we tried unsuccessfully to clear ourselves. I called O'Neill's around noon and was told they were all booked that day but the friendly dispatcher said she could put me on the waiting list. About 90 minutes later she called back to say that someone could be at our house within an hour. Great! The technician came, diagnosed the problem, and had it fixed within 20 minutes. He gave me a lot of good information as he worked and pointed out (and fixed) a few minor mistakes that a previous "plumber" had made. When he was all finished, he offered to take a look at a another project we'd been considering and gave a few ideas about the job. He even took a few minutes to diagnose a low-flowing faucet and pointed out that it was just a clogged aerator. In hindsight, we probably could have done this job ourselves, but it would've taken three times as long and been a huge mess. I'm very happy with the helpful and friendly service from O'Neill.

I fell like I was overcharged. Specially when I dug the hole for them and the labor that they performed was pretty straight forward.

Very pleasant gentleman, very upfront about costs, (as they didn't fill me in when I did an online schedule) He did not seem to be concerned that I would not continue, if I changed my mind.. The costs were what I expected for the job, travel and materials. He was very efficient, and went right to work. No standing around, driving up the time involved, since it is based on an hourly rate. The spout connection was too short for the new spout we installed with a remodel a couple years ago. He sodered a new copper line to extend it and attached a new spout. Took about 45 minutes all together. I mentioned some 'blue' leaking that occasionally occurred..so he checked out our hot water heater, that is OK for now, maybe another couple of years. I will know if I see more 'blue' No more leak!s, at least from this place!!! Yay!!

We called O'neill for an estimate and it was promptly scheduled for a few days later. Cevin arrived on time to look over the situation including a video scoping of the sewer line. As we suspected the whole thing needed to be replaced. Additionally some tree roots had pushed up our sidewalk, near where the job would be, and we wanted to roll that and the removal of the tree stump and roots that had caused the damage, into the job as well. Later that day we received an itemized estimate for the whole job including the city inspection and permit fees. It took us a few weeks to schedule with them as we wanted to get a few more estimates. Based on speaking with friends and family who are familiar with the construction and plumbing profession we head that O'Neill did good work but often were not the cheapest. Based on the other estimates they were not the most expensive, nor the cheapest but we chose them based on their good reputation. The job was originally set for a pipe burst in the four inch line and a re-lining of the six inch to the main. Because of the presence of too many roots the job forman was uncomfortable with the pipe burst technique due to worries about the "gopher" could get stuck while in the pipe and he wanted to switch to an open trench replacement. I was extremely concerned about additional costs, but Cevin assured me in writing that it was a change in plan only and would incur no additional charge. I could not be happier with O'Neill they showed up when they said they would, cleaned up after themselves everyday, and did the job well and came in right on bid.

First job: (January, 2015) The technician from O'Neill's came and very quickly and efficiently (and clean) replaced a sub-par toilet in our master bedroom that was put in as a replacement from a home insurance company repair. Job was done quickly and the removal of the old toilet was clean. I felt the price was fair. (About $600 including a top of the line toilet) Second job: We had a broken handle on an outdoor spigot. My husband had repaired it with a "universal handle" however the screw got stripped in the process. O'Neill's came out to see about potentially replacing the entire spigot. Because the pipes were in a difficult location to get to without a great deal of demolition, we opted to have a replacement handle ordered. (it was an odd size because of the age of our home). When the replacement came in, it was the wrong size, so technician went to McClendon's to find a suitable handle. One was found that fits, however it is still wobbly (we were told to find a different size screw to tighten the handle). Considering the scope of the work,and although I was aware of the pricing scheme prior to this job, I felt that $275 was a bit excessive. I like these guys - they are responsive and really know their stuff, but I do feel they are expensive. I would use them in the future, (I have another toilet I want replaced at some point, and I like the one they installed) but for minor plumbing jobs, I would probably look elsewhere.

the toilet one early morning developed a large lead on flushing -- LEAK, not drip -- so after reading good reviews on Angie's I called O'Neill Plumbing after hours. Somehow the call got lost on the holiday weekend which the owner Tim was very quick to rectify when he became aware of it. Plumber came out the next evening, took a little while to pinpoint the problem but did then find and fix the problem. Very efficient & fast. and all seems well . I will definitely keep O'Neill Plumbing on my " who to call in emergencies " list.

The two man team showed up a little early (after calling to make sure it was OK), got right to work and did a great job. I've used O'neill before for rooting out our sewer and replacing our main water line from the street to the house and they've always done a good job for a fair price. The cost of this service, which took almost two hours was half of what Beacon charged our house sitter for a 45 minute job to install two water supply hoses under the kitchen sink.

They were very efficient, they cleaned up after themselves. It was kind of expensive but I didn't have much to judge it off. When they found that there was no connection they sort of clammed up. I made the choice to not move on since the pipes could only go so far but they were able to get my plumbing working since it was backing up before when water left the washer. I also think the communication between the company and myself could have been better. The first guy was really good and had great communication though.

Soon after moving in, we discovered a flooding issue due to blocked downspouts and a gradient behind our home. After rain, water would pool around our back door for several inches and flood inside. Cevin provided the best bid and best design of several we received. The design completely eliminated the flooding and ensured that we would be able to maintain clear downspouts going forward. We were completely satisfied with the job and the time frame in which the crew completed it.

The plumber from O'Neill showed up right on time! He was friendly, professional and did a stellar job in our kitchen. He not only fixed what we needed fixing, he took care of a couple other minor troublesome aspects at no charge to us! The job was done properly, in a reasonable amount of time at the originally estimated cost. We would absolutely use them again and recommend them highly.

Called for emergency service at 1am, someone was supposed to call me back in half hour but didn't. Ended up turning off the toilet tap and had the tenant manually turn on when he needed to flush. They called back in the morning, probably better it went that way otherwise emergency service rate would probably have been more expensive. They complete the fix in 25 minutes and the tenant was happy - replaced fill value, flapper and checked it was flushing. Timing and Updates: Regular updates on time to arrive would be great. They were in the area at another job site at 10am and was told should be over within an hour. No one showed up at 11am, luckily they arrived right before tenant had to leave at noon - would be great to get more updates so I could prepare to cancel if they could not make it before the tenant left. Price: expensive - not sure if the minimum 1hr ($300 + tax) for service call was standard or just a Sunday price. But atleast they don't charge a cost to come out and quote, etc.

Super fast, had to charge me the minimum 1/2 hour, but Steve was great - professional, fast and replaced all of the guts of the toilet. The initial response was also very quick and they scheduled me for within 48 hours of the initial inquiry (it was a non-emergency issue).

Service was ok but they did damage our floor without telling us. However they gave us a verbal quote of 350 per toilet however they gave me a bill of 1350$. When I contacted them they said that they are always very clear that the quotes don't include labor. They were not this time and no one having service done cares to have a quote for only one part of the job. The price was outrageous and they were not upfront about the costs. I will never use them again and would highly suggest you do the same. At the very least make them give you a written quote no matter how small the job.

O'Neill was able to send somebody out the day we called, even though our situation was not an emergency. Their worker arrived right on time (early for a two hour time frame we'd agreed upon). The work we were having done was basic, probably something they do multiple times a week, but it was completed well and efficiently, and things are working again. We would definitely call O'Neill again. We only rated price a "B" because plumbing is expensive, not because they are any more expensive than any other plumber.

They were here for an hour. There were no unexpected issues.

I am so pleased. We moved to Burien 18 months ago. Our first experience with a plumber we found on this site was a disaster. We were way way over charged for a modest amount of work. A neighbor recommended O'Neill. They sent out John Keigley. What a sweeties. So earnest. So honest. Very competent. The previous plumber said that he could not replace the plumbing in the toilet and wanted to replace our three toilets at $700 a piece. John was much more positive. When he did not have the OEM parts, he came back a couple days later and made the toilet like new. I am so impressed. I plan to ask for John by name in the future.

They arrived on time, found the problem quickly and even though it was not something they do they told us what we could do to fix. I will call O'Neill Plumbing again if and when the time arrives.
