Description of Work: I have used several other firms to clear plugged drains before and never called them again. Was both over charged and unhappy with their service. O'Neil's technician Nelson was highly skilled and finished the difficult job in record time. |I was greatly impressed. I would assume O'Neil has been in business this long can be contributed to their repeat business from highly satisfied customers. I will never use another plumbing company.

I spoke to Cindy, and she took my information and said that their on-call person would be calling me back. Was called back within about 25 minutes and made arrangements to dispatch. Arrived when they said they would and fixed the leak that day.

Description of Work: I called first thing in the morning to have them come work on a toilet that was overflowing, however they were not able to address it as promptly as I would have expected them to do it. They did offer to come after hours for an extra charge. A month earlier I called to have a hot water heater replaced but the plumber came and did not perform the work because he wanted another verbal approval to do the work, even though I had already given it when I had placed the order. They did offer to come back a day and a half later. They do GREAT work when you can schedule them, but sometimes they are not as available as one would like.

Description of Work: Wrote a negative review about this company due to their lack of follow up thru Angie's List messaging system....but they wrote back to say they were new to the messaging format and that they have learned from their mistake. I will always celebrate anyone who learns from a mistake and it appears they have. While they didn't follow up with my initial message, they followed up on negative feedback.T hey could have ignored it but they appear to want to become a better company and I appreciate it.

Description of Work: First service, re-attatched fawcett in kitchen, had come loose, also cleared an outside drain which was plugged. Had to come back briefly on fawcett issue, but turned out well over all. Second service, clear plugged kitchen sink drain today- seems fine as of now. Cost was moderate both times. I am now retired, so cost is more of an issue.

Description of Work: Called O'Neill Plumbing to request next day service for a failing sump pump in my basement. Plumber arrived promptly the next morning and dispatcher even called in advance to let me know the plumber was on his way. What I feared would be an expensive, labor intensive repair, was diagnosed by the plumber as exactly the opposite. He cleaned out the sump pump, assured me it still has several years on its life, and was done in 90 minutes. The service, knowledge, price and good attitude surpassed my expectations. I will definitely use O'Neill again!

Description of Work: We have used O'Neil for plumbing services in the past. On this occasion I called them for advice on what I was not sure was a plumbing issue. We have been getting a sewage odor from time to time in a bathroom that we use very infrequently. I called O'Neill, explained the issue and my uncertainty if they were the right people to call. The receptionist connected me with a service man who diagnosed the problem on the phone as being related to a shower trap that had dried out from lack of use. He guided me thoroughly through how to check his diagnosis including looking for other possibilities and suggested an ongoing remedy. Everyone I talked to was most pleasant and responsive.

Description of Work: I scheduled a service call for between 10-12p on the 28th. At approx 10am I received a call from their dispatcher saying that their tech was tied up on a previous repair and that he wouldn't be out until 12-1p.....and would that still work for me? I indicated that it would. Being a former telecommunications repairman I fully understood that a given repair could run longer than the estimated "average" time. "John" the tech showed up within the new time frame and listened attentively to my description of the problem. He then explained his proposed course of action in detail and with my approval, set about to clear my drain. John was friendly and professional....and successfully cleared my drain of roots within a short amount of time. Total time from start to finish was 1 hour. I paid John via credit card and he was on his way. A few hours later I realized that I had not mentioned my Angies $30 off coupon to him ...and being after hours, i called and left a message for the office indicating that I had forgotten to mention the Angies coupon. The office honored my voice mail message and deducted the coupon amount in their final billing. Well done John and O'Neill Plumbing......I will recommend and use you again!

Description of Work: Steve arrived promptly, calling prior to arriving at my home. He was very professional, very nice and solved my bathtub drain problem within half an hour . The lever on my tub drain had stripped and kept me from opening and closing drain. He replaced the mechanism. While he had to take a peek in my crawlspace , he mentioned a flaw with the piping that could be a potential problem in the future. I was grateful for his mentioning this problem, in case it ever needs tending too in the future. I also was able to use my 30 dollar off coupon in Angies List monthly book. Description of Work: There was flooding in the basement of my rental property. O'Neill Plumbing was responsive given the nature of the problem and scheduled someone to come the afternoon I called. The plumber provided efficient and professional service, quickly diagnosing the problem and doing the necessary repairs. He replaced the sump pump that was not functioning and stayed to make sure the problem was resolved.
