Description of Work: We had a toilet that was off it's base and needed re-secured. Tyler re-set the toilet with a new wax ring and new base screws. He also installed new flushing mechanisms in the tank, now the toilet works great. They were able to come sooner than scheduled so that was convenient, and the service was friendly, clean, and professional. I don't know what the average hourly rate for labor usually is but O'Niell charged $220 per hour. Parts came to $82.60 (wax ring, flushing components, new base bolts). I know that price is an important factor in deciding who we are able to go with so that is why I am including this information in my review. Overall very satisfied with their service over the phone and in person and I would recommend O'Neill Plumbing.

Description of Work: Fix leaking faucet

Description of Work: Installed a seat in the shower. It works but now some screw has weakened and the seat does not stay up. Next time I need any plumbing work done I will ask them to fix it.

Description of Work: They snaked out a block in one of my toilets. | |The person was very communicative, responsive and professional and they responded very quickly. I appreciate all that. I felt the price was a bit on the higher side.

Description of Work: Installed a frost free valve and up graded the main valve.

Description of Work: We asked for a check for leaks in our unit and to fox a dripping tap. The dripping tap was worked on and new parts purchased and installed but this did not fix the leak. The excuse was that the leak was caused by something that will be more expensive to fix and required opening the wall behind. It was disappointing to find out we were paying for not required work.

Description of Work: Cevin and his gang were great! They had to diagnose and fix a sewer line problem. They ended up replacing the line in three spots and had to dig up my garden to get at the line. They carefully dug up and replaced the plants and you would never know they had been dug up. They were very respectful of the fact that I was tightly budgeted and worked hard to figure out the best most economic solution. I will definitely use them again (but hopefully won't need to for a while, knock wood!)

Description of Work: Fixed the problem I needed, and took care of what turned out to be a minor problem at no charge. (I had said that I needed to schedule an appointment to deal with the minor problem, but at a later date. He said he thought it'd be no big deal and just took care of it!) |Very professional. Not trying to sell me on more services -- was truly concerned about getting things working for me. I will absolutely call and use them again!

Description of Work: We used an Angie's list coupon to have a plugged drain taken care of, and a leaking faucet to be assessed. John was prompt and very nice. He took care of the plugged drain, explaining to me what he did. He also took apart our leaking faucet, found the source of the problem, which was a new washer within the faucet. He took a picture of the faucet and sent it to one of his colleagues to see how easy it would be to find. I feel he went beyond what other plumbers may have done, helping me to figure out which would be more cost effective, a new part or a new faucet.

Description of Work: Fixed a crack in water line that cracked due to freezing

Description of Work: Steve S. fixed a slow-draining tub and sink, cleared our garbage disposal, and replaced a leaky outdoor faucet. Working with O'Neill Plumbing was easy from start to finish. I was able to schedule the work exactly when I wanted. Steve called to let me know when he was on his way, and he arrived right at the start of the two hour window we had scheduled. Steve fixed a number of nagging plumbing issues for us, including one that I asked him to take a look at on the spot. Plumbing services can be expensive, but the cost of these repairs came to less than I had expected. I'll definitely call O'Neill the next time we need help with plumbing issues.

Description of Work: The initial appointment was cancelled by the company, but rescheduled for the next day. The plumber arrived a little ahead of schedule. He diagnosed the problem, gave us an estimate and completed the job when given the go ahead. He cleaned the area up before he left. I would use this company again.

Description of Work: O'Neill's was a very professional company to deal with, from the telephone operator who set up my appointment to the service person who performed the work. The quality of the work was good but I was somewhat taken aback by the overall price/hourly rate (approx $200 an hour), but this was partially my fault for not asking ahead of time. I will probably not use them again primarily for this reason (price) but would recommend them to anyone who wants a good job done and doesn't mind paying the higher than usual hourly rate. |

Description of Work: We had our entire house supply lines re-plumbed, drains moved in the master bathroom and replaced toilet flange. I would totally recommend this company to any one considering a big job of this sort. They were prompt every day, careful of our home, and explained things as I had questions. Overall it has been a great experience!

Description of Work: Rescued an Action Figure from the toilet and then replaced a gasket for our "vintage" toilet.
