Description of Work: Renovated front lawn, removed severl over-grown/dead hedges and small trees, and replanted new sod. Also fixed broken sprinkler heads and reset entire system. Carlos was very professional and the three person crew worked efficiently and productively. Will definitely use this contractor again.

Description of Work: Cecil and Oscar re-landscaped the flower beds on the front of the house around the new porch. They put in cement block edging and built a cottage stone wall around a raised planting area. They filled in the beds with five yards of top soil and dug up ten plants and re-arranged them in the beds.They cleaned up the area removing trim, rock and roots and also bruhed and hose off he dirt on the driveway. I had purchased the Angie's deal for 20 hours of work and there was time left after the project so they weeded a large planting area at the font of my property. |I highly reccomend East Side Landscaping. |Dave

Description of Work: Asked for an estimate to reduce the size of a very large bush that was blocking our view. Asked for another estimate to trim branches off of the roof,trim or take down a cherry tree and overall yard cleanup. Requested that the estimate be according to task so that I could have done only what was in my budget (approximately $1,000.00) and prioritize the tasks. |A man with the last name of Morales came too early, said he would get back to us (two disabled senior citizens)and never called or sent an e-mail. He did not return my calls. I left a message saying just call and leave a message if the tasks are too difficult, let me know either way. No return call. Why is this company on Angie's List? I do not have the date of his visit written down; I am doing "spring cleaning" late so have many service providers at two residences.

Description of Work: Have not yet used Carlos' services; we had a scheduling snafu but Carlos called back once he saw my negative review, explained the situation, and is coming back tomorrow to provide an estimate. So far, I'm happy with his attentiveness and follow up with customers.

Description of Work: Cleaned up overgrown shrubs, added cedar bark, replaced some grass, fixed the sprinkler system. Basically took a neglected yard and made it nice again. The guys worked hard and did a very nice job.

Description of Work: Cleaned up back yard that hadn't seen work for 3 years. Very efficient. |Good job and left neat. Cut down weeds in beds rather than "weed" them out, but only had 4 hours to do a lot. Very nice guys.

Description of Work: I thought this contractor was professional and timely. The only reason I didn't use his company is price. I was able to have the work done at a much cheaper rate.

Description of Work: All 4 gardeners worked very hard; were responsive to any requests concerning our landscaping needs; removed old plants and planted new plants; did a wonderful job pruning our special trees and shrubs; cleaned up as they worked. This was a very nice experience. We like the company!

You can't go wrong with Carlos and his crew, I can't recommend them enough. | |The job went smoothly and quickly, there was a small issue noticed about a week later that they quickly took care of.

Description of Work: The 2 man crew came and cleaned up all weeds in part of my front yard, both sides of drive way, and part of my back yard. They also laid down gravels on both sides of drive way per my request. The crew members are very professional and polite. My yard hasn't been taken care of and there are ives so it takes extra effort to clean up. Will schedule a follow up with them to clean the rest of the yard.

Description of Work: Jose and Wilson showed up on time and worked hard through a HOT, HOT day. They got everything on my list done early. Since I had bought a Big Deal for 20 hours, they asked for more work. I got several other things done that I had not anticipated they would have time for.

Description of Work: The guys arrived on time to perform as follows: |Front, side and back: Lawn aeration, fertilizing, weed control, lawn mow and edge; Front: Thatch, reseed, top dressing with mulch where needed; Tree: Hand cut suckers. | |The workers did not speak much English, so it was hard to communicate with them. When they arrived, they didn't know the scope of the actual work. Tree looks great. Thought lawn did too. However, after 2 months, the lawn was not growing in and the weeds got worse everywhere. I emailed Carlos (via the email chain we used to set up the work) two times to let him know and asked for a reply. To date, I have had absolutely no response.

Description of Work: North East Landscaping Services put mulch around the yard. It was a large mulch job and put down gravel.
