It all went well and I hired them on for weekly maintenance; note that you do have to pay an additional dump fee if they do a cleanup as that is not included

Service was overall excellent. Although I could tell they were very busy, scheduling was easy and the crew showed up right on time. They were professional and courteous. When I returned from work I was blown away by the quality of their work. My landscape was a mess so I tried to keep realistic expectations; they exceeded my expectations in every way. Everything looked amazing. I am a VERY happy customer.

Three men came on time and worked for a total of eight hours. They pruned three mature hydrangas, two lilac trees, multiple ferns, and a snowball tree. They also raked all the flower beds.Fantastic!!!

I had them out to do an early spring yard cleanup on an advertised special they had. It took a day or two longer than expected to hear back but I'm sure they are very busy this time of year with that promotion. No big deal to me. We made arrangements for the work to be done about a week out which was great for me and the guys showed up right on time, even a few minutes early. I showed them around and what my priorities were and they went right to work. They got a whole lot of work done in the four hours I had contracted for and did an excellent job cleaning up and making the yard look great. You will be in great hands if you contract with these guys to do work on your home. Russ

It worked out fine. The work they did was fine. They were probably here for 20 minutes or half an hour. My interaction with them was fine. There was no problem. They showed up when they said they would. They finished the work and left. I would possibly use them in the future. It depends on the price.

Communication and scheduling was good. Service performed on time and, as far as I can tell, performed completely. They didn't leave a mess behind, which is a plus for me. Overall, I was happy with the service and would hire them again.

I was extremely impressed with the quality of the work. I've had this kind of thing done before, but these guys were by far the best. The work was so good that i hired them again to do more work, including mulching and power washing my driveway -- again an excellent experience. I now have an ongoing maintenance contract with them.

Amazing! I did a lot of research on Angie's List and tried to get some local references as well for some help for a big yard clean-up project, and we are so happy that we selected Northeast Landscaping Service. They did a fantastic job! Carlos was prompt for our initial consultation & estimate. Spent about 20-30 min w/me walking our front & back yard, asking appropriate questions and offering suggestions. The team of Carlos + 3 men showed up on the scheduled day right on time, we did a quick 5-10 min review of what was initially discussed. Carlos left the team with instructions and they got right to work - edging, weeding, pulling out some medium to large overgrown shrubs & small trees, removal of the old stones & bricks, reshaping flower beds, planting some new shrubs I had purchased and finally spreading a trailer full of fresh mulch. The clean-up was professional, there wasn't a scrap left behind, everything was clean, swept, well-landscaped and looks awesome. Will definitely look to them again for future work!

They were very polite and professional and listened to what I wanted done.

Carlos' crew did an amazing job on my front yard. I was looking for a more affordable price compared to what I spent last year. I found their deal on Angie's List and couldn't be happier! They preformed what I thought would be a full day job in the first few hours! I've already hired them to come back again! Very highly recommended!

We had 8 man hours and the company sent out 2 men for 4 hours each. My husband showed them what needed to be done and they proceeded to work the entire yard over as requested. Both front and back yards look great and I can now see what's blooming in my flower beds! They cleaned out our vegetable garden so we can now prepare it for spring planting. All debris was cleaned up and put into our yard waste cans. There is a pile still in the garden but they raked it into a manageable pile so we can fill the yard waste containers after they are picked up. They would have taken that pile but it would have cost us an additional $40 so we decided to take care of it. We would hired them back again! Very professional and hard working people.

He was excellent, I would grade him A for sure.

Carlos and his team EXCEEDED my expectations in every way! I had no idea they could get so much done in one day. They removed years of overgrown ivy & blackberries from the fence line to the alley (my neighbors are thrilled) and trimmed up an out of control laurel bush. I expected 1/2 of that done in a one day time period. I have already scheduled them to do more work! The team arrived on time and worked diligently all day. They removed several yards of debris and left the alley and my yard cleaner than it was when they arrived. This is the first service I've used on Angie's list and was a bit skeptical. I am more than happy with the services I received. I highly recommend North East Landscaping for any landscaping needs. I am truly blown away. Thank you Carlos, Daniel and Manuel, I look forward to seeing the magic you preform on my next project in a few weeks!

They did an excellent job. I little pricey but worth it. Will use them again.

We were very pleased with our crew. Very well equipped and respectful. Our entire yard is transformed after they gave us 8 hours of work.

They did a good job. I am not sure if the price they charge was reasonable. Everything I wanted to be done would cost me $8000. I expected them to pay for the material. They put down paving stones and new plants. They created areas in the front of the house. They also trimmed the bushes. I thought 15 hours of labor would cover the work but it did not. They showed up when they said they would and they showed the next day to completed it.

There was no additional charge. They did the work. I was satisfied.

It was great! Scheduling was very easy. They were amazingly fast and did a super job. We were super happy! It was a excellent deal and I was very happy it.

I am very pleased with they work they performed and now I walk outside with a smile on my face. They had an eye for detail and cleaned up all the areas in need. They left the premises very tidy. My only complaint is the extra cost of hauling away the debris which was mainly leaves. I understand the extra work, but $80 seemed a bit too much as I don't think it costs them to take the compost material to the dump. All in all, I am pleased and will use them again.

Our yard was a mess. Weeds had been left to grow since August 2014. The crew of 2 did the entire yard. They cleaned up all the leaves, weeded, trimmed bushes and grasses. I was very happy with the work. They hauled away about 2/3 of a truckload of yard debris. Our yard looks great.

No communication was made with me regarding scheduling of the service. I emailed via Angie's List with the provider but received no response. The services I purchased needed to be done by a specific time and since the company didn't respond I needed to purchase the service elsewhere. This is why I would like a full refund.

When I purchased it they were doing an evaluation of my sprinkler system to look for any sprinkler head that was not working. I know that I had a couple of broken head so I am wondering if they did that. The pricing was reasonable and he was very responsive at all. There was not much interaction and he was late.

Carlos was very responsive from the beginning. After purchasing the Big Deal, he contacted me to offer a date to have a crew come out to do clean up for the 40 hours of labor on the following Monday. I explained that we were not in need of clean up, and were looking for estimates on a larger projects that we wanted to apply the Big Deal value to, assuming that was possible. Carlos came out to our house at the beginning of the next week (12/23) and was punctual and delightful on site. He casually discussed materials costs for some of the projects and said he would be back in touch quickly. We received the quotes on 12/26, which was incredibly fast. We were interested in fencing, a patio extension using pavers, and the removal of a rain garden. The estimate for the fencing was in line with what he stated while at the house ($13k+), but the other estimates were much higher than we expected based on his comments while looking at the property. That was not itself the issue. When I asked how the voucher would apply, I was told to simply take $1499 off the total price. Because the $1499 was supposed to be a $4200 value, that didn't make sense to me. I then asked to see a breakdown of labor costs vs materials costs - Carlos responded back that the quotes were 50% labor and 50% materials. I then explained this still didn't help me understand how the value was being applied, and asked for an itemized breakdown of the costs (e.g. labor cost/hour x labor hours, the amount and price for materials such as the gravel, pavers, wood, soil, sod, etc - what I believed was a standard estimate breakdown). Carols then quoted me a flat $/sq ft for each the patio and fencing jobs. The $/Sq ft breakdown doesn't contemplate that we haven't selected materials (which I assume would be a variable cost based on what we chose) and still didn't show me how the $1499 was a $4200 value as stated on the Big Deal. As such, I do not see how he intended to honor the voucher, and assume he did not plan to. Carlos was very responsive, but unfortunately he refused to give us the transparency we needed to make an investment of $23k+ in the projects. There is no way we can make that kind of commitment without fully understanding what we are being charged for, and I felt frustrated that I could not get a simple breakdown of labor and materials costs built into the estimates. We hate that it didn't work out, we really liked Carlos!

I bought the big deal. My realtor wanted my large front yard, and wild side and back yards cleaned up, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money. This big deal was perfect. I was called and scheduled soon after buying the big deal and the crew did exactly what I needed done. They worked very efficiently and got everything done with time to spare.

I left for work about 30 min. After they arrived. Juan asked me questions about whoa I wanted done. It was dark when I came home so I couldn't see their work until the next day. They had done a wonderful job. There wasn't a leaf or branch lying around.
