Carlos (the owner) was in touch within 24 hours and promptly arranged a visit to our site. During the walk through he was both professional and informative - his experience with lawns and irrigation were evident and it was clear that he takes great pride in the quality of his work. His price was competitive and he was upfront about the pros and cons of installing sod vs seed - both in terms of initial cost and ongoing maintenance. Although we ultimately chose another contractor (it was a difficult decision), I would not hesitate to consider North East Landscaping for future projects or for ongoing maintenance.

Made two appointments and both times no one showed. Extremely frustrated and disappointed. Finally gave up and am now searching again.

We got a written estimate in a timely fashion. The work was scheduled and the workers were prompt and efficient. They did a great job, including cleaning up loose mulch. The yard looks terrific. As soon as they were done, I received an emailed invoice - no problem there. However, the email had a link that indicated that it could be paid online but it didn't work. They should either fix this or not offer it as an option.

They are very efficient, prompt and reasonable price.

We recently bought a house and it had been unoccupied for a couple months. The gardens and landscaping are more than we can maintain on our own. Northeast helped us get everything trimmed back into a manageable state and they were able to offer good recommendations for things that needed to get done. We got a new layer of mulch added to the gardens, and everything is looking great! A tree on one side of the house was overgrown and touching the house. We had them trim that back as well. At the same time we decided to extend a patio area at the house, and they were able to recommend and install great pavers that tie the whole yard together. We had a great experience with them and hope to work with them again in the spring!

Carlos was exceptionally thoughtful in coming up with solutions for our drainage problems. He was patient with our many questions and was very easy to contact. We had a total of 7 bids (that’s probably 4 too many!), and Carlos certainly had the best and most cost effective ideas. We had a new French drain installed along the edge of an exiting patio - the pavers had to be removed and then reinstalled. We also added catch basins, extended the drain along an additional side of our home, and relplaced a soggy section of lawn with new sod with a drain underneath.. The crew was prompt, hardworking, and did a terrific job. Everything turned out even better than expected, there were no delays or glitches in getting the project done, and the results were outstanding. Everything, from start to finish, was done in a professional manner and we would highly recommend North East Landscaping.

They came on time and worked extremely hard and did everything on our list plus helped us move a couple of heavy pots. Did a great job.

We hired North East Landscaping Services for an initial yard clean-up after we bought our home. The project was quite large: removal of a fifteen foot tall, overgrown laurel, demolition of rotting sheds, removal of crumbling walkways, substantial tree pruning, bush removal and finally, leveling of the entire yard and installation of a lawn. The initial project began on time, the crew worked efficiently and the owner personally was onsite throughout the week. The price was fair when compared with other quotes we received, though it was not the least expensive. I expected quality work for the price we paid, and we received quality work. We have since hired North East Landscaping Services for our ongoing lawn maintenance and have been pleased with the crew that comes to our home twice per month. My only complaint with this company has been that after our initial project was completed, communication regarding our maintenance package has been spotty at times, with emails not being returned unless I ping the owner multiple times. The work is still completed on time and is done well, but I would appreciate more timely responses to my inquiries.

All went as promised and the place looks great.

Very well done - really pleased with quality of service and installation and clean up

This is an Addendum to a Review I wrote last week. Carlos M contacted me after he was informed of my earlier review. To his credit, he was very apologetic and took full responsibility for forgetting to complete my job. He stated he was driving at the time and did not write down the work order. His crew came to the house on June 25, 2018 and completed all the work. He has sent photos of the completed job. It looks good and I do believe it was an 'oops' and he sincerely cared about making it right.

Carlos scheduled one of his guys to come out to the house and I had an estimate pretty quickly. Based on positive reviews and the best price, we selected them to lay some sod at our house. The two man crew showed up really promptly and worked tirelessly to get the area prepped and the sod laid correctly. Now, 3 weeks later, following careful instructions about how to care for it, it's looking great!

Very efficient crew. They did an excellent job with our property. The owner came out to scope out our needs ahead of time. We've hire them two times to do fall and spring clean ups. Their prices have gone up considerably since that time so we have not hired them recently.

The work effort was outstanding and the results were perfect for what we asked for The crew worked professionally and meticously cleaned up the work site afterwards. The crew hauled off all the old blocks and unwanted materials in our yard. They were attentive to our requests and the result was a yard we are proud of. They did it all in two days. We were extremely happy with the work.

It went well and they did a very good job - they clearly wanted to please. I was also very pleased with the work and how nice the place looked at the end of the day. The ONLY thing I'd caution a potential customer on ... ensure they work the full amount of hours you pay for. It was hot out and they'd already worked hard and diligently so when they came to the door an hour early to say they were done I didn't think straight and said "ok"...I wish I'd reminded them they had one more hour each to work but I didn't,,,it was MY FAULT for not speaking up that it cost me $150 worth of work not getting done,,,but next time (yes, I will hire them again) I will speak up for myself and make sure they complete the shift hours I paid for.

Job was done well, would like them to come on a regular basis but I don't think they are set up to do that.
