Ngo's Flooring

Contracted with Ngo Flooring to replace hardwood flooring throughout my 1907 craftsman house. When the existing laminate floors were pulled up it was discovered that the subfloors were disintegrating and had to be ripped out down to the original fir shiplap and replaced with plywood before the new hardwood floors could be installed. Throughout the entire process, Ton Ngo was extremely cooperative and polite in meeting every challenge, and coordinated workarounds with the kitchen contractor so both could complete work on time for me to move in. Ton took special care to match the finish to the existing original woodwork in the house, and the results are exceptional. The first thing every person who enters the house (or sees photos) says is, “The floors are beautiful!” I highly recommend Ngo Flooring, especially to install hardwood. He is friendly and highly professional, and despite major additional work we encountered, completed all work on time and for a reasonable cost!

The refinished hardwood floor looks good. There were two problems with this provider. The first was the final price was significantly above the estimate of $2,750 as I was changed additional for the stain and the reinstallation of the base molding. The reinstallation of the base molding was done by another firm who did a very poor job of caulking.
