The people we were dealing with at that time were the owners: Mr Stan Nachtrieb and his sons Erik and Ben. They were very professionals in our dealings with them. Everything was above board. No surprises nor deviations from the contract signed. Questions or problems we raised while the work was going on were immediately answered/resolved to our satisfaction. It helped that my husband and I went to 2 home shows, spent many months to window shop for materials and kitchen design. We already had a long list of our requirements ready at the initial meeting with Stan and Erik. Of course there were more meetings & discussions, their important inputs to the design, how the whole remodeling will work out.

Overall, the job went great. However, it started off on a bad note with a three week delay in starting the job. One of their lead framers quit. It took a while to find someone to replace him. The framer they hired to do the job was top notch. They had the addition framed, sided and roof in six weeks, the shorter end of the time range they had given me. Stan prepared a detailed project estimate and gave it to us with their markup. The job would have finished right on budget had the "as built" drawings been accurate. A change order added 3.5% to the total budget and was reasonable for the work done.
