Maritime Roofing and Construction

I had my roof replaced by Maritime Roofing. The price was great and the crew did a terrific job! My roof looks incredible and they didn’t leave a mess behind! I highly recommend Bob and his company to anyone looking to replace their roof.

They did not install roof to manufacture standards. Used wrong nails, improper substrate, and improperly flashed. Spent 45k and roof needs to be replaced already in less than 5 years. Because the roof was not installed properly, voids manufacturers warranty on materials also. I would not let them roof an out house.

We got 3 bids and chose Maritime Roofing. We knew once the old shingles came off that there would be damaged ship lap that would need replaced. Bob, the gentleman that quoted our project, was very careful to account for all the possibilities and was communicative throughout the inspection and quote. Once we agreed to move forward with Maritime, it was just three short weeks (including New Years and the holidays) before work started. The crew was very good about protecting our yard and pets from falling debris and cleaned up each day. In just 3 days, we had new plywood where we needed it and a very sharp looking new roof. We now have proper venting as well to maximize the life of our attic, roof, and shingles. Overall, we are exceptionally happy with the materials Maritime helped us choose and the quality of the workmanship. They also did a VERY thorough cleanup after the job was done. Bob and his team were definitely the right choice for us and our home.

Thomas was our project manager and he was extremely professional and honest. He answered all my questions and responded to all my text messages either same day or within 24hrs. I contacted Maritime to quote me for a new roof. They provided me with very reasonable quotes and didn't attempt to upsell me which is something I have experienced many times with other roofing companies. Maritime's staff were very professional and paid close attention to detail. They inspected the job after it was finished and addressed some minor odds and ends- I really appreciate that level of attention to detail and pride in the work.

We had Maritime Roofing and Construction replace our roof and gutters on a 27 year old home that we purchased 2 years ago. I was concerned not knowing the condition of our roof and the cost of roof replacement in 2023. I did a comparison of other companies throughout the area. I liked the business values of Maritime and decided to get an estimate on my project. I was pleased with the initial estimate. They were professional, thorough, and listened to my needs. I decided to give them a try and have enjoyed the whole process. Although roof and gutter replacement is never an inexpensive undertaking (yet necessary), Maritime Roofing and Construction made it a pleasure in getting the job done.

We had to have solar panels removed prior to roofing and they changed their schedule to do this. They also did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards and made sure my neighbors yard was perfectly clean.

Everyone I dealt with throughout the entire project was polite, knowledgeable, and reliable. Michael gave me a quote, explained the steps in the reroofing process and provided a timeline. The roof was completed ahead of schedule and came in underbudget! The three gentlemen who installed the new roof did an excellent job and were professional from start to finish. Bob, the owner, checked in before and after the roof was installed to make sure that all was going as planned! Excellent communication and customer service. The Maritime Team is first rate all the way. The project from end-to-end was extremely well managed and the work quality was superior. My new roof looks fantastic. Maritime employs very hard workers, excellent craftsman, and I am very pleased with the investment I've made. The clean-up of the old roof was thorough. The attention to detail was appreciated - no old nails laying about the yard - no random old roofing shingles misplaced in the garden - nothing on my house was broken or destroyed. I was nervous before the project started too. Great crew. Transparent pricing and contracting. Thoughtful follow-through and customer service. My only complaint: I can't hire them again to replace my roof for 30 more years...
