Le's Landscape & Yard Work

They were very fast and thorough. What looked very overwhelming to me was done very quickly. Mr. Le's vision was very close to mine and he followed through nicely. I ordered bulbs for planting, they haven't arrived yet but he asked me to call him when they come in and he will come back to plant them. I intend to have him maintain the yard until we are ready to sell sometime in the spring.

Mr. Le returned my call promptly. He came out the next morning to provide an estimate. This morning (1 day after bid) he and his crew arrived at 7 am and got to work. They had cleaned up and packed up by 2 pm. My woody and overgrown bushes look fantastic and the new border is clean and fresh. They even weeded it for me. Mr. Le is as good as his recommendations and we will happily call him back as budget and projects require. He'd actually quoted me $900 for the work he did. It was over my budget and I'd asked him to only install the boarder along the south fence which he quoted $700 for. He got through with that portion and kept going because he didn't want to leave the job half done / incomplete. He asked for another $100 more, knowing that he might not get it because it was more than we'd agreed on. I appreciated his ethic and was overjoyed at the job he did, and I paid the additional money.

When he came out to give the estimate, the boss said that there would be four guys working. We assumed that he would be one of the people working. There were only two guys doing the work but they worked very hard and did a lot of work. The boss also did not come out at the end of the job to make sure everything was finished.

I call him back and he mentions the "important" Lynnwood appointment and then asks me to describe to him what I want done. I briefly describe to him that I'd like planting beds prepared, my backyard reseeded, and a patio built. I even suggest that it would be better to meet in person and talk in detail. I ask if he's in the area and if we could meet now - being pretty sure that he was the one in the truck. He says that he is in the area, but that he might stop by later in the day and would call me before doing so. Never heard from the guy. I call him again (call me stupid) on 9/18 and leave a message asking if he's interested or not. I still haven't heard from the guy and don't anticipate to. If he didn't want the job or was too busy, he could have just said so. Lost out on a big job. Would not recommend him.

Le was fairly responsive, but he's highly priced. I asked for a quote to thatch and aerate a 5000 sq ft. lawn. He quoted without looking at the lawn (I think), based on a verbal description. I'm not even sure 5000 sq ft is the correct size of lawn as there's a large patio and gardens. Le might be good, but 950 for that job was a way too big for my budget. Lots of things I can do for a grand that are more important than the lawn. So, if you're flush with cash, and want a fine yard, I bet Le will take care of you, but probably not the best choice for a little job or for budget landscaping.

Responded quickly to our call and came to give an estimate the next day. We wanted to get our yard in better shape quickly and he brought his team the following Tuesday. We're basically very satisfied. We neglected to ask him about thatching and wish that he had suggested this. The price seems a bit high but the yard looks much better!

After playing some phone tag, Le met my husband at our house to survey the job and give us an estimate. He gave us a great quote, so we decided to go with him. We set up appointments with him twice, but he never showed. He even called a few times to say that he would come on a Friday or a Saturday, but never came or called again. That was almost a month ago and we've since done the work ourselves. I understand that it can be a busy time of year, but a phone call to let us know that he'd be unable to make it and/or would have to reschedule would have been appreciated.

Le came out on a Sunday to give us an estimate. Once we decided on him, he and his crew came out the next week (in the rain) and did their magic in two days time. They cleaned up and hauled everything away. Even though Le's quote was higher than what we had originally planned on spending, we are happy with the final results. What a difference! The Bethels

Le gave me an estimate within a few days of calling him and was able to start the work within the week. His crew came on a Wednesday while I was a work and I didn't recognize the yard when I got home. They returned on Friday to bark the beds. It was a drastic change and it took me a few days to get used to it! I do wish that the laurel had been trimmed much more but I think I could have communicated that more clearly.

I chose Le because he was extremely responsive and pro-active in getting my business. After the 1st landscaper incident from 2006, I was pretty squeamish & slow in making a choice. Mr Lee was punctual and very hard working. It was a great pleasure to see our yard transformed into a space that we can be proud of. We have a fairly large yard and it had really runaway from us, Mr Lee restored the order which allowed us to manage it better ourselves. Mr Lee visited a couple of days after our initial telephone call to assess the amount of work, we were given a quote on the spot and a start date of only a couple of weeks out. I will definitely be hiring him again for more yard work.

I requested that they do thorough weeding, prune four rosemary bushes, apply weed preventively application, and put down a light layer of bark. Since my yard is quite small, I felt this job could be done in 8 - 12 hours, so $1,500 seems very high.

Mr. Le and his crew was very punctual, worked very quickly and thoroughly and far exceeded our expectations of what could be done with our landscaping and yard work.

The proprietors came out promptly to bid on the job. Lee does not speak much English, so his wife does the business side of things. She relayed what I wanted done & they came up with a total for their bid. After getting 1 more bid I decided to go with Lees & confirmed scheduling. About 2 weeks later the work started. After the first day of work Lee & his wife returned to tell me that they had underbid as they did not realize just how deep the river rock went. They suggested a compromise but I asked them to re-bid for the full job. They re-bid the job & ended up giving us a break on the additional work as they felt bad about the mistake. The work was done promptly & neatly. Lee was as hard a worker as I have ever seen in my life. He moved nearly 10 tons of river rock by himself with a wheelbarrow. Although there were a few pieces of plastic sheeting left behind, overall, the job was done very well. I would recommend them to a friend.

Lee was exemplary with organizing an estimate & was very nice. Unfortunately, his estimate was not within my budget at this time.

Mr. Lee did a fantastic job with everything. Everything looked fresh and tidy, and clear of weeds once he was finished. I would happily recommend Mr. Lees service to anyone.

Excellent service. They showed up on time for both the estimate and service. They completed the work as promised and left the yard (including the patio and walkways) exceptionally clean.

It was truly a fantastic job. Mr. Lee showed up when promised and did an absolutely wonderful job. Mr. Lee was extremely meticulous. Our yard has never looked this good. Communications was a little bit of a challenge but well worth the minor effort. Thank you, Angies List for turning us on to Mr. Lee. You just dont get this kind of quality and service anymore!

HE IS VERY GOOD. HE IS VERY RESPONSIVE, AND IF HE HAS TIME TO FILL IN, HE WILL PUT YOU IN HIS SCHEDULE WITHOUT EVEN ASKING. HE WILL CALL YOU. YOU DONT ALWAYS HAVE TO CALL HIM. HE IS GOOD AT FOLLOW-UP.
