Le's Landscape & Yard Work

I received quotes from several people and Le's was lowest by far so I hired them. The workers arrived promptly and worked diligently for several hours. Then the "boss", not the one who did the estimate, said this was much bigger job than expected and wanted to charge me almost double the initial quote!?? He thought I was treating his workers unfairly even though I was clear what I expected them to do for the quote. I agreed to pay half of the extra and wrote and gave him a check before the work was complete. They then left before finishing the job. What was done was good, they just didn't finish and charged my much more than the estimate.

Le and his team are really fast efficient and courteous. Le himself is a really nice guy who treats his customers like family! My wife who worked has worked extensively in landscaping and nurseries has been thrilled with Le’s knowledge or trees, shrubs, and plants

This is our second project with Le's Landscaping and Yard Work. It's a family owned business with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. We've had several other outdoor projects in the years we've lived here (covered deck, wood retaining walls and planting areas, fencing, cement walkways) - all with people we liked, all with mixed results. This time, the results have all been positive. Our first project with Le's was mostly extensive yard work. Mr. Le was frequently on site, but his crew was hardworking and experienced and we were pleased with the results. Our current project was a 160 ft. cedar fence with 3 gates, arbors, and enclosing an inner courtyard space. For this project, Mr. Le was always on site, either directing or more often doing the detailed construction work himself. The workmanship and materials he selected are excellent. The project also included building up a walkway that had begun subsiding into a stream area and planting a Japanese maple. Once they started the job, they didn't pull off to work on others. Mr. Le responded quickly to any question or concern we had during the process. We had a general idea of what we wanted, but his ideas and experience made the result much better than what we pictured. The workmanship on the fence and esp. the gates was wonderful. I rarely write reviews, but this has been an exemplary job that we'll enjoy for many years. It was also a lot of fun.

This has been my best find on Angie's List. In addition to having a huge crop of weeds, our yard was overrun with invasive garden thugs - summer bamboo, ivy, blackberry bushes, and esp. bindweed tangled with everything. I couldn't see any option but to pull everything and start completely over. When Mr. Le came by to walk through and give me a price, his 35 years experience became clear. He identified what we could and should keep and how to do that. He brought a crew of 3 hardworking and experienced men. They got the job done quickly but thoroughly. Every detail was well done, including making the agreed upon mulch cover very thick to hinder future weeds and make it easier for us to care for. He said if we were interested,he could come by once a year to keep it from getting out of hand again, something we plan on doing. Finally, Mr. Le was a pleasure to work with. He got back to me quickly if I contacted him. He had great landscaping ideas that we're considering for the future. He was friendly and helpful in discussing any idea or question I had. His crew's performance went beyond what I expected and gave us a job that delights us. I'd recommend him highly and look forward to using his services again.

They worked very hard and our place looked great when they were finished.

It went well within one day of work done by about five people. The overall job was satisfying, and the guys were thorough, polite, fast, and meticulous. My only complaint was the price I had to pay for the job to be done. I thought that It was extremely expensive. I wish I had checked others also for this job, and it disappointed me greatly when I heard different prices. I will not use this outfit again in spite that I liked the man. I felt skinned by the money I paid.

Excellent work. Le's Landscaped put in our paving stone walkway a few years ago. They did such excellent work, we called them back to do our yard. They responded quickly and gave us a very fair bid. We had a large garden in front of the house that needed a total rework. The shrubs were old and spindly and simply looked bad. We also needed a major spring cleanup. They did an excellent job. The yard looks great and our new flower bed is gorgeous.

Excellent work done by Le and his crew. We were kept well informed as the work progressed. We were impressed that Le noticed that our grass was very long and needed earlier mowing than was arranged. The work was done in an efficient manner and was of high quality. Le and his crew were also very polite, hardworking, punctual and gave the work a personal touch. We recommend this company highly.

Arrived with large crew, it was a big job, and finished in one day. Very satisfied. I was planning on using them for regular maintenance, but unfortunately they are no longer providing that service in the area where I live.

Once again, our neighbors are commenting on ours being the nicest looking yard in the neighborhood. Mr. Le and his crew are excellent.

Le did a great job getting my lawn looking good after years of neglect. He was very responsive to phone calls, punctual, and is a really nice guy. Highly recommend!

day before coming out Le called and told me that he was unable to get the size tree we had requested and said he could only get the next size up for additional $200.00 told him that was not authorized and said he would still plant them even if we would not pay the difference. When he can to plant the trees it started all over again the price was more, again told him we had not agreed to that price. When he sent the invoice it was for $200.00 more then the quote, the property manager sent him his quote and said we would pay if we submitted a corrected invoice which he did and we paid the agreed amount.

Excellent. A bid was obtained quickly and the work started in just a few days. Everyone showed up early, worked hard, did a great job. The owner was around to check progress. They even took out a few high branches that I had mentioned that was not part of the bid. Please note that Angie's says this company is not licensed. However, they have been for many years and can be verified on L&I site.

He and his team work hard and don’t hesitate to make changes based on customer feedback. He’s quote was fair and the work was delivered within budget and on time. We highly recommend him to others and will use this company again in the future.

We are outside the service area for this company, but greatly appreciate that they promptly responded to the Angie's List message to tell us that. So many companies have not responded -- it's refreshing when someone communicates!

Excellent: The work was done exactly according to our agreement - on time and immaculate. Cuong Le's crew was professional in every way and left the house and grounds looking infinitely better than when they arrived. This was the second time I hired them, and they did not disappoint. I'd hire Le's Landscape and Yardwork again in a heartbeat.

The work has been completed as promised and on time.
