Le's Landscape & Yard Work

Mr. Cuong and his crew was very responsive - from the estimate to the execution of the services. The estimate was scheduled the day after I called, and the crew arrived promptly at the promised time that week. It was raining for some of the days that the crew was at the property, but the crew was still in good spirits. They were very professional and politely got my attention by knocking on the door of the house when I was inside cleaning to ask general questions and clarify instructions. For the work that was performed, I believe Mr. Le provided a very competitive rate. I highly recommend his services.

Le Cuong and his crew were consumate professionals. They do business with a handshake and a guarantee to treat your yard like their own. The agreed upon work was completed by the agreed upon start date! He always returned our phone calls promptly and answered any questions we had. Our HOA decided we wanted to pull out nearly all of our existing ivy and re-do the majority of the landscaping on the property. With over 25 years experience, Le made the job painless. After removing the ivy, they layed sod in our parking strip and also in a semi-circle shape between the sidewalk and our building. In an area under a couple of red plum trees, they removed more ivy and put down beauty bark and planted four rhoddies along the sidewalk. Around the building's entrance off the public sidewalk, they took out some old juniper bushes, transplanted an existing rhoddie and some crocuses, and put down new sod with about 8 new flowering plants and beauty bark. (All of this area was done with a few suggestions from us, but it was mostly Le's expertise that we relied on for what would do well and look good.) Lastly, they created 4 ft by 4 ft squares around 3 Gum trees and a telephone pole that are in the parking strip. Inside these squares, they put down more new soil, planted 4 low lying flowering plants in each square, and added more beauty bark. Three weeks after the sod was layed, they came back and fertilized the lawn and gave it the initial mowing. Two months later, things look great! I would highly recommend their work!

Le responded quickly and stopped by twice to discuss plans to redo our backyard. He understood the main goals we wanted to achieve and gave great advice to improve our plans. His landscaping and plant knowledge was very beneficial. Our backyard has limited access but Le and his crew found ways to make things work quickly and efficiently. Le and his crew worked very hard. The workers were professional. We are thrilled with the transformation of our backyard. The grass and plants are growing and healthy. Le went above expectations and wanted us to be happy with the outcome. His prices were very competitive. We would definitely hire Le and his crew again.

Le's crew was quick and efficient. Le was responsive to additional work that needed to be done which were two more trees needing to be removed and the bamboo in the back needing to be pruned as well. Le returned to make sure that the work was done correctly and to my satisfaction.

I sent Le and email from Angie's list on a Tues night. He called me at 7:30am the next morning to follow up. We discussed what I needed which was simply removing A LOT of weeds around some small bushes I had in my front yard. The weeds were out of control. He came by the following day to take a look and then called me back with his estimate. I called him to let him know I'd hire him and first thing Friday morning, he had guys out front completing the job very quickly and thoroughly.We are really pleased with the job and impressed by the responsiveness to our request. Would definitely use him again!

They do really good job. They are detailed.

I called Mr. Le when I hadn't heard from them since the lawn was in need of cutting soon. He called back the next day and said they could come. When I got home it was all done. We had originally agreed on $200 to include weeding the beds. Then they would come every 2 weeks at $40 each time to mow and edge and get weeds on concrete. However, he was getting busy and I really didn't need the extra services so we agreed on $100 plus tax which I was quite happy to pay. He said they could do this same work next spring which would be just perfect for me since I have a small lawn and can do it myself except once in spring when it is overwhelming.

Outstanding yard and tree cutting service! I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I called Le yesterday and he came by three hours later to give me a quote on the work. To be honest, I thought his quote was too good to be true. And he said that he would come with his team the next day (today) to complete the project. I agreed but, given our experience with other contractors, I was skeptical. However, Le arrived promptly with his team and equipment at 9 am this morning. And our yard has never looked this good. (We hire landscaper/contractors every year.) I just completed the walk- through and our front and back yard look amazing. I cannot wait to have our first outdoor party!

I contacted Mr. Le after pain-stakingly checking out Angie's List for suitable contractors. After reading all of the reviews, I had decided on Mr. Le. I contacted Mr. Le via telephone and left a voicemail. He promptly returned my call. Mr. Le arrived as scheduled on Wednesday 4/18/12 to complete the estimate, to which we were very pleased with his professionalism and the overall experience. Mr. Le had us provide a $100 deposit and advised that he would be able to complete the work early the next week. On Sunday, 4/22/12, I was shopping for the upcoming week's needs, and my husband called me to tell me the crew had arrived. On a Sunday! Wow! The crew got busy immediately, addressing all of the items discussed in the original work order. I was told by my husband that they worked steady and consistently, and double checked their work before they left. The crew didn't waste any time, stand around, or take breaks. They were in and out and the yard looks great. I'm not sure whether they knew we were home or not. The only item for improvement I would note for the future is not to park in the driveway. We park in the garage, and parking in our driveway blocks our access in and out of the house. Thanks Mr. Le!!

Mr Le responded to an email promptly and turned up exactly on time for a quote.He was very matter of fact and used absolutely no pressure.He said he could start the next day.He came the next morning with a truck loaded with equipment, topsoil etc. He and his two workers worked for two days non-stop.They were all very professional.

Mr. Le was great to work with. He arrived early for our first meeting, listened to what we thought was needed, provided his honest assessment and suggestions. He followed through promptly with a bid that evening via email, that covered what we discussed. This is our first time hiring someone through Angie's List. Both my husband and I felt he and his crew were very professional and cared that we were satisfied customers. Not only will we continue to work with Mr. Le for yard maintenance, and additional projects, but our neighbors saw his crew's hard work and promptly hired them as well.

Mr. Le gave me a written estimate on the spot. We worked out a timeline and he and his crew stuck to it. They worked around the dog dilemna and we worked out payment..50% to start and 50% upon completion.

It went great. They responded immediately to my message and came by the next day to give an estimate. The price was very close to the estimate. Our yard looked wonderful when they were finished.

Overall, they did an excellent job. Mr Le showed up early to give an estimate for the job. On the day of the job, they showed up on time and did a very thorough job. They stuck to their estimate and did everything they said they would do. Well done and we will definitely use them again.

They were great. I don’t know how much they charged us for their services. My husband knows all that stuff. They were really good. They were reliable and quick, and that’s all we remember. We think they’re good. We will use them again in the future.

They did a fantastic job. They came out, they worked really quickly and got everything done within the day. They had to remove a whole bunch of weeds and put down the gravel and mulch. They were very professional. The job was very well done.

Once we got a routine established, it has gone very well. At the beginning, we had to let them know what we wanted and didn't want. They caught on quickly and have continued to do good work.

I have a high maintainence yard, and lost my regular yard person. I found someone to fill in, but they left in August. From August to December, the yard (no grass, just lots of flower beds) was untouched. By December, it was a wilderness! I searched Angie's List, and found Mr. Le. I carefully read the reviews--good and bad--and e-mailed him through the link provided by the List. Within 2 days, he came out, we talked about the job (what I wanted and what was needed), and he gave me an estimate. We also discussed the negative rating he received recently, and I was comfortable that this was an exception, rather than a rule. He said he could come either the next day (Saturday), or Monday at the latest. His crew started later that same day! They came back Saturday, and finished by the early afternoon. The guys were pleasant, and worked very fast. There wasn't a square inch of ground that wasn't touched, and trees and shrubs that should have been trimmed much earlier in the year were finally groomed. He was even able to "clean" a tall palm tree that had needed it for a couple of years, and that I'd figured I'd need to hire a tree service for. Mr Le himself checked with me periodically during the work to be sure I was happy, and to ask if there was anything I'd like done to the yeard that they hadn't done. The only things I wanted--that they happily did--was to have some scraggly roses removed, and weed killer spread on the walks. There were 2 large trucks full of debris that left my property, and the end result is great. I've had several friends and neighbors remark on how fabulous my yard looks, which is saying a lot when it's winter! Yes, it was expensive. However, he came right away, he and his crew went right to work, my plants are in better shape than they've been in for some time, and they even cleaned the leaves off the deck. All in all, a very positive experience. We'll be discussing a maintainence contract next year!

Le was very responsive, made an appointment for estimation on Monday morning, got estimation that evening and finished the job next day. The clean up and weeding was thorough, shrubs were pruned nicely, no debris left behind. They arrived on time and worked very hard. Their price is competitive. Definitely will ask them back for spring clean up.

I contacted Mr. Le via voicemail and email yesterday. He called me on the same day and said he would come out to look to give me a quote. Arrived 0930 this morning, as promised, and provided me with a quote and since I had him do work before, I gladly accepted. Said that he would try to have his crew here in the afternoon. I was not in any hurry. His crew of two arrived this afternoon and worked for over 2 hours cleaning up leaves and the yard. They did a great job despite of working in the rain and sleet today. I plan on using their services again. I am sure my neighbors will want to know who I use too. Thanks Mr. Le!
