Kevin Kurbs Interior Design

My husband and I both work in the furniture industry, but when it came to our own home, we hit a brick wall in how to best utilize the space. I hired Kevin Kurbs to come in and make some suggestions. I'm so glad I did! The investment was well worth the money spent. Kevin was able to not only utilize many of the items I thought I would need to replace - he was able to produce a furniture lay out that got me 2 additional chairs in my living room. The room feels so much more complete and harmonious due to his ability to find solutions to problems. In the end, having invested in Kevin's design services, I probably saved more than I spent in new furniture costs. Kevin's eye for details also helped to pick up on architectural detail that was poorly executed (narrow molding around our windows) that created visual clutter along our wall of windows - his suggestion for changing the molding created, what appears to be one large, expansive window! I'd lived there for 10 years and didn't realize what made the room feel so chopped up. Working with Kevin has been fun and exciting - he really knows design! More recently, we are in the kitchen remodel mode. I immediately called on Kevin to draw up some remodel plans. Not only did he draw up a floor plan, he was able to put it in a computer program so I could see the potential outcome - inside and out! Talk about inspiring!

Working with Kevin is a dream. He is a genuine treasure. His extensive background and experience in Interior Design combined with his excellent taste and eye for detail and respectful sensitivity to budget is a rare combination to find. His past Interior Design suggestions have created a warm, inviting and comfortably elegant family home. His Interior Design suggestions this time around created a fresh approach which we hope to implement soon.
