Ken did an outstanding job installing the system and it works like a charm. He built and poured a concrete pad for the outdoor compressor to sit on and mounted the compressor to the pad, drilled a hole through the wall and snaked the line-set from the interior unit to the outdoor compressor, mounted the interior unit, mounted and secured to the exterior wall, twenty-five feet of line-set from the interior unit to the compressor, connected the line-set to the compressor, prepared and installed all the required electrical hook ups to the exterior unit, opened the line-set valves and insured that the lines were secured with no leaks, and installed exterior line-set covers. Ken is a good communicator and easy to work with. Along with his professional installation, he made valuable suggestions that helped to make the project a success. I am extremely pleased with the outcome and highly recommend Ken for any Mr. Cool DIY mini-split heat pump installation.

Ken and his sons were great to work with. The original agreement didn't include the interior door, but Ken worked with me on adding that, as well as installing a through the wall HVAC system. Everything looks great and I couldn't be more pleased.

Ken and his sons are fantastic. Ken is honest, complete trustworthy, does great quality work, knows electricall, plumbing, cabinet work, painting and easy to work with. He also commits to thestart date and sticks to the job until iit is done. One does NOT find all these qualities in contractors but only with Ken and his sons. I will use him again anytime.

I was getting my old rental house ready to put on the market for sale. Ken walked the property with me a couple times and made several suggestions, including some things needing attention that I had not even thought of. My garage door looked terrible and he made it look great at a very reasonable cost. Ken and his son and his son's partner did a terrific job in spiffing up the place. The costs were very reasonable considering the amount of work done and the experience and wisdom he brought to bear. He went above and beyond -- he even transported my ladders to my house 16 miles away, knowing I didn't have a truck. I recommend Ken and his crew very highly.

Turned out great. Locks and opens now with ease. He was always punctual, professional and performed quality work. I'd hire him for other projects for sure.

My tenants changed their minds about the window screens and so I called and let him know that I wouldn't be needing him at that time. He was very grateful and thanked me for calling him back. He was very polite and always picked up the phone. It was in the summer and everyone else I called was too busy to even return calls. I will use him in the future.

Ken is a super nice guy. He did a great job with the work he did, although it took longer than I expected and thus costed more than I expected. I asked him about a toilet that doesn't always flush properly and he told me that 'that's the way it is sometimes', even though later I was able to figure it out and fix it myself. I also asked about household maintenance and he kind of brushed off my questions and told me I don't have to worry about stuff like recalling indoor windows or cleaning the dryer vent... I'm pretty sure I do have to pay attention to that stuff, so I'm not sure why he was so casual about it. I would hire him again for random fixes around the house because he flexible and competent, and probably still cheaper than the established handiwork companies in the area.

I had a vexing noisy exhaust fan in the powder room... had diificulty finding any trade that felt it was their type of problem(electrician said call a plumber, plumber said call an electrician.) I called Ken and he was able to come out quickly, grasp the problem, get his tool belt, and fix it... what a releif. I identified a carpentry task outside and he will return quickly to fix that and I will report again. I would describe Ken as an and quot;Old Schooland quot; Handyman with an extensive breadth of competence.

Very timely response to my inquiry and provided a very honest price for the job. Very good workmanship on the project. I'm very satisfied with the overall experience.

The last time we used Ken was yesterday with a very old and leaky faucet in the bathroom. He analyzed the problem and determined that it could be repaired instead of replaced. He replaced the parts, checked the rest of the plumbing, and told me how to avoid the problem in the future - all in under an hour!

I am very happy with the work that Ken has done for me and feel fortunate to have a multi-skilled handyman I can call upon to help me with all the projects around the house. The first job I hired Ken for was to refurbish my extremely ugly front door. A previous owner had applied a dark stain that was mottled and streaking and the veneer was all chipped at the bottom of the door. Ken took the door to his shop, sanded the exterior-facing side of the door, rubbed it multiple times with Danish Oil, took an artist brush and applied a darker stain to a recessed design element in the door, applied new locks, handle and a kick plate that covered the peeling veneer. The door is now beautiful and gets continuing compliments from visitors. Then, I hired Ken to help demolish parts of my flooded basement -- sheetrock and framing removal. He works fast and did a great job and kept things cleaned up. Next, I hired Ken to replace around 12 feet of picket fence that had been removed by Aces Four so that they could trench at the back of my house. The fence replacement required making and placing 4 new posts, making some new pickets, and gate repair. Also part of this project was to build a lumber retaining wall underneath the fence and alot of clay removal. Most recently, Ken framed the new bathroom in the basement working in conjunction with my plumber. The plumber mentioned that Ken did an excellent job. I like that Ken cares about doing a good job and making the customer happy. He goes the extra mile. I have recommended him to two different sets of friends; both have been very pleased with his work.
