My husband and father in law worked with Mike to get an estimate and schedule the work. They both spoke highly of Mike and preferred to work with him due to both cost and professionalism. My interaction with the crew was limited but the guys I met were very helpful in explaining the work being done, pointing out problems and potential solutions, and even apologizing for having to put so many holes in the walls to get the work done. The end result is terrific. Everything works just as it should and the cost was very reasonable considering the large amount of time and materials that went into the job.

This is my first time using the company, and everything has been going well. They don't take shortcuts, they're highly knowledgeable, and they get the job done.

Kemly was very responsive in coming out to review my projects. They were slow to get me an estimate - took a week and a half after a couple of calls and an email. Once I got the bid, they were quick to schedule the work and even found an earlier date to come over than originally expected! Two electricians came over. Both were very professional. They got the job done in a half-day. I was expecting two days, so I was happily surprised. I will certainly call them again.

They are excellent. The price is always reasonable. They always get the job done on time and they are always fair with their pricing. I wouldn't use anybody other than them.

It was great. We had two other bids that seemed scared of the scope of the work. The two electricians were timely and worked around my schedule. We lived in our house the whole time, took about a week. I feel so much better having my electricity up to code.

Within an hour of my call James appeared and was able to immediately diagnose the reason for a non working switch, light and outlet. He cheerfully moved a heavy bookcase bolted to the wall to reach the outlet, repaired the burnt wires, explained exactly what he was doing, only changed the first half hour price despite staying over that time and provided a senior rate. He was pleasant and fair and competent and solved the problem! I would call them again in a minute!

They were very timely, and thier worked turned out very well. The price seemed fair.

They were wonderful workers and great to have in the house. It was an expensive job but that's electrical.

Kemly Electric has been to our home on 2 occasions. They are responsive and professional and seem to have all the knowledge needed to complete the job the first time. We have a 40-y/old home that has some electrical issues, likely due to the previous owner's DIY. Kemly is somewhat pricey but in the case of Electrical work, you don't want any short cuts (or short circuits...). We will hire them again when we're ready to tackle the next project on our list.

Technician arrived on time and completed the work quickly and with minimal mess

Kemly was absolutely great! The two workers arrived on time, got the work done quickly, and cleaned up after themselves. A few weeks after they had installed the outlet, it was discovered that the outlet cover was not large enough for the application. They came out and installed a new outlet cover very quickly. I feel now that it is safe, and they really were a great company to work with.

Glenn came out on April 18th to give us a bid proposal for the project mentioned in the previous section and changing out a number of our light switches to timers. We decided, in the interest of cost, to only do the under cabinet lighting. Glenn provided cost estimates for the under cabinet lighting with xenon bulbs and LED's. He was very candid in answering our questions and in providing his opinions on what might work best for us based on his experience. There were no high-pressure tactics and Glenn provided any additional information we requested as we researched the project online, especially to ensure that we liked the fixtures. The price that Kemly proposed was not the lowest - in the middle of the pack. We decided to go with Kemly as they had done some work for us previously, which we were pleased with. The kitchen has a tile backsplash and we gained confidence in working with Glenn that Kemly could do the work without damaging the any of the tile. The installation was scheduled for May 22nd. The electrician they sent was Tony and there are not enough good things we can say about him. He thought through the alternatives before he began any of the three installations and was very meticulous in his planning and work. Tony was also very open to answering questions on what he was doing and why. Initially, we thought that Tony would have to drill through the tile in order to get power to the LED lights. He was very hesitant to do this as he stated that he did not want to take the chance of damaging any of the tile or the grout. He found a way to do the wiring without touching the tile. He even went to the extra trouble of drilling the hole through the bottom of one of our cabinets with two different sized drill bits so that the connection could be hidden in the larger half of the hole and the hole that could be seen from below was smaller and just enough to let the wiring through. On the other installation in the kitchen, he drilled at an angle where the cabinet met the tile and hid everything in the wall...pretty clever. The complexity of working around the tile in the kitchen resulted in a job that took a couple of hours longer that if there were only drywall. Tony gladly took the time to do the job right.

The work was excellent. They were very professional and thorough with the details, their process and their estimate. We just had our floor redone and they wore booties when they were in the house, which I thought was very considerate.

I submitted an online request (late in the evening) for an estimate, and the office phoned me the next day. They did a good job getting details about existing equipment so they were prepared at the service call. I asked that they phone me 30 minutes before they planned to be at my house so I could stay at work until they were on their way, which they were happy to do. Maybe a little expensive, but the problem was solved with one phone call.

The electrician was on time and performed the repairs in a very satisfactory member. He was professional and personable and very experienced. i would not hesitate to use this company again.

James came to check on that and was very knowledgeable. He explained everything very thoroughly and was really informative, so I understood exactly what I was paying for.

Excellent. We had purchased a replacement fixture in case that was the problem with one. Problem was in the switch [as my husband had suspected]. James had to find replacement parts but found those quickly, returned, and did the repairs.

I called Kemly to troubleshoot an electrical problem with the floats in my septic tank in August. They recommended replacing the floats which they did. They also recommended and completed an additional wiring upgrade to make it easier to replace the pump and the floats in the future. The floats worked intermittently during the next month and a half, and I ended up having the floats replaced with a more reliable type of float. The electrical work was good, the problem was just the type of float. It was helpful to have made the adjustment at the original installation to make it easier to replace the floats. Kemly quickly refunded the cost of the floats originally installed. Kemly was pleasant, responsive, and professional to work with. They're recommendations were helpful, and they explained what they were doing.

Gabe and Derek were awesome! They worked very hard for 5 full days to rewire our home. It took an extra day because our walls had a lot of extra stuff going on in them making it tricky (it was built in 1900). They were apologetic that it was taking longer than expected (which was not their fault) but they wanted to make sure the job was done right. We were very impressed. I thought it was nice that they completely cleaned up after themselves everyday even though we weren't actually living in the home at the time. The new lighting really transformed our home. Thanks Kemly!

Was not advised of the "minimum' charge for service ($120) when appointment was made so was surprised by the amount. Total bill was $120 (mandatory for first half hour) plus $30+ for the thermostat or $ 150 total to replace a thermostat. The Kemly invoice indicated " 1.0 Hrs. @ $120" in one place and the "first half hour @ $120" in another place. Very arbitrary and confusing. The service appointment was originally scheduled for the afternoon. Kemly called in the morning and asked to reschedule because the serviceman had three customers waiting on the Eastside. This was accommodated.

The service person showed up on time (he was actually a little early), did the job efficiently, and cleaned up after himself. I am satisfied with Kemly Electric and will use their services in the future.

We have used Kemly for years, and we've never had a bad experience with them. On this particular occasion, we called first thing on a Monday morning to see if we could possibly get a someone out asap to replace a light fixture in the bathroom (it had blown at the start of the weekend, tripped the breaker and we couldn't turn the breaker back on as long as that short existed, so no power in the bathroom). They checked the schedule and found that one electrician would be in the area and had some time to stop by and replace the fixture that afternoon. He showed up and did a great job getting everything working again quickly. They've done a number of jobs for us at this house and our previous, and we've always been happy with all of their work
