Just Like Daughters

I cannot recommend Karin and her team highly enough! They are professionals with so much experience in this challenging work. They assisted me in downsizing a 5 bedroom house and moving into a 2 bedroom apartment at Skyline retirement community. My neighborhood did not allow estate sales but they contacted appropriate dealers to purchase many of my books, artwork, antiques, furniture, etc.--proceeds from those sales more than paid for their services. The day of the move (which I've always dreaded) they were super organized, cheerful and did everything, including moving items into my kitchen and making up my bed. They have since helped me with organizing a large storage closet and removing/replacing furniture when my apartment was flooded from a broken heat pump. Look no further--Just Like Daughters with Karin and her crew of wonderful women and movies are the very best!

Together, we got the job done. They did not make much effort to sell items, no estate or garage sale. Their subcontractors were efficient at removing recyclables, donateables, and garbage. I was hoping for more project management from them but found I was doing most of the organizing.

What would have I done with out Just Like Daughters? Karin and her amazing team were so experienced and professional, I am immensely grateful for their services. I had a large home on a large lot and had lived there for 30 years. I decided put my home on the market and it sold in 36 hrs. I bought a condo the next day...and the closing was to happen in 30 days. I had to get rid of 2/3 of everything I owned to get into the new space. YIKES! Just Like Daughters provided me with advice about what to keep, what to sell, what to give. They had connections for the sale of some of my furniture, specialty items, and even jewelry. They arranged for pickup and delivery of items prior to the move. They visited my new condo and advised me what would fit in the new space and be appropriate to bring with me. Just Like Daughters coordinated with and managed the movers team, who were excellent...thank you Puget Sound Moving! Just Like Daughters came and packed all my belongings in a day before the move...and unpacked in my new place. My kitchen was set up, artwork was hung and my bed was made by the end of move day. I am so grateful for their help and appreciated their extraordinary level of service. I highly recommend Just Like Daughters.

This moving service was amazing! They assisted moving my mother from one assisted living facility to another. They work in partnership with local moving companies that have a personal touch and care for items being moved. The move went very smoothly. They are able to make moving as fun as can be while keeping seniors calmed and relaxed. When the move was completed the new residence looked like she had been living there already.
