Working with Carlos was an amazing experience. He is extremely knowledgeable and has an amazing work ethic. They completed a large excavation project that not many companies were able to do. They installed 150 feet of ecology block wall they brought out heavy equipment. Everything was extremely safe and well cleaned after each day. They also installed artificial turf and a paver stone patio. I would recommend them with my friends and family. Donâ t hesitate to hire Carlos and his crew. Thank you guys

I hired Carlos from js landscape and excavation to install a concrete patio. Also, driveway, they installed some artificial turf. Along with some irrigation, they did an extremely fine job. I would recommend them with my friends and family . thank you carlos and crew !

Stay away from this company, they did not uphold their end of the agreement and caused significant damage to our yard. Their lack of response to phone calls shows lack of professionalism. The poor quality of their work, such as not using a lawn roller and bad hydroseeding , has resulted in a lawn full of potholes, lumps and weeds. You cant even enjoy the lawn because of fear of twisting an ankle its that bad! They also installed a sidewalk which has cracks and some top layers coming off. They tossed extra cement over to the edge of the lawn instead of properly disposing of it. $11k for our lawn and $7200 for the sidewalk.Weve tried various ways to restore the health of the grass and unfortunately we will have to go through the process of excavation & hydroseeding to fix the damage caused by this company.

Carlos and his team were fast, efficient, and did a stellar job on our turf install! The project came with some challenges for us. It is a small yard (18'x7') and difficult to access. Some companies flat out refused the job. We received 4 estimates that ranged from $4200 to over $7000. JS Landscaping was the $4200 one. This gave me pause as I firmly believe you get what you pay for. I asked Carlos about this and he explained most companies have a minimum amount they will charge for any landscaping job, no matter how small and regardless of the work involved. He was right. Thinking back I realized that all the companies I spoke with asked how big my yard was and immediately told me about their $5000 minimum. Incidentally, they all far surpassed the minimum, citing "difficulty of access". Well, I hired JS Landscaping and Carlos and his team cut down the wild brush that was blocking the alley to access my yard in 10-15 minutes maybe. Not so difficult after all. The job itself took little more than half a day total. I watched intermittently, and it was clear they were focused on the quality of execution. I ended up saving $1000+ because Carlos has that seemingly rare quality of integrity. I highly recommend JS Landscaping both for the quality of their work and for the quality of their character.

Easy to work with, responsive to my communications. The artificial turf they installed is beautiful and in very happy. Their pricing was substantially lower than the other quotes I got, but I could not see any areas that they cut corners or used lower quality materials.

The quality of work on our retaining wall was excellent. They were prompt, responsive, professional, and courteous. We would definitely hire them again!

They repaired a failing retaining wall and Iâ m delighted with the result. Not only would I recommend them, I have every intention of working with them again. Carlosâ approach to our project was what sold me. It was efficient which saved money while also being less disruptive to the surrounding area. In addition to smart design, the work was carried out with obvious care and attention to detail. Complicating matters, the wall in question was on a property line so they had to deal with what was essentially two different clients. Carlos went out his way to have additional meetings with our neighbors and was very considerate and responsive to their concerns.

We hired JS Landscape to remove and replace about 2000 sq ft of sod (front, back and side yards), install sprinklers, and hook up our existing timer/drip system to main water supply and put all onto a single controller. Carlos and his team were great, accommodating an unexpected fir tree removal in the middle of the job, and incorporating the tree's footprint into the new grass. They hooked up our existing drip lines, which had previously just been running on garden hoses and timers, and fixed a couple of existing problems with it, too. Their communication was always clear about when they would be working (massive rainfall disturbed the schedule somewhat, which they worked around), and always letting us know what they were going to be doing on any given day. They pressure washed our driveway and sidewalks after the job was done, leaving our property clean. The new sprinklers work great, and the irrigation controller they installed is great and easy--controlled from a cell phone. The new grass already looks good--can't wait for the Spring! We would hire them again in a second.

Unreliable and unprofessional. This company did not show up to the project after confirming the estimate and scheduled start date. They did not return phone calls, texts, or emails regarding their disappearance. In the last email, I received they confirmed the start date and that we were on their calendar. They did not show up and failed to ever communicate. We still have not heard anything from them. This company put other projects back 4 weeks because of this. Simply unprofessional and unreliable. Not worth the uncertainty. Avoid them

Carlos kept an appointment to give me an estimate (two others did not). His price seemed fair and I hired him. He showed up when he said he would, did a professional job of converting my five individual irrigation zones, each with its own battery operated controller, to a smart wi-fi controlled system with one controller. He did the work quickly and for what he quoted. Part of the job was based on an hourly charge which he did for the minimum of one hour. I would recommend him to anyone wanting an irrigation system installed or upgraded.
