 + -1 moreTechnicion said it needed a new fan which he had to order. Several days later he brought a new one which he overcharged for. It worked for two days and stopped again. All additional calls went unanswered. Called a reputable repair man who immediately spotted the problem was the thermostat. The old fan was perfectly good.
Description of Work: Refrigerator was not getting air from freezer section to food storage section.

Description of Work: These guys are incompetent crooks- specifically a guy named mike. This fraud came to our house to diagnose/fix our subzero freezer and not only could he not figure out what was wrong but then brushed some dust underneath the panel ( not even utilizing compressed air, it is still very dust under there) and charged us $200 saying that it should work by tomorrow. of course, it didn't. So we contacted him to let him know and he has now been avoiding our calls, initially claiming he charged $200 for the (incomplete 2 second) dusting job which we did not request and are perfectly capable of doing ourselves. Total frauds.

 + -1 moreFirst of all, I called 3-4 places and they all claimed that the aprtment-sized fridge/freezer could not be fixed, lack of parts, blah, blah, blah. Jim called back about 1 hour after leaving a message on a Saturday and told me that a tech was in my are and could be by within an hour. Mike, the tech, did come by in about 45 minutes. He was very courteous and careful with the unit. The first thing that he checked was exactly what was the problem and he took the time to explain everything to me. He even checked a couple of other things just in case and during the process, the light bulb burned out and he even replaced it. My landlord had planned to simply buy a new unit, but this repair was far cheaper and it works great. What really impressed me is that Mike followed up with a phone call about 2 hours later to make sure that the freezer was actually beginning to cool and that everything was fine. In addition, he told me that they keep the records of exactly what service had been performed so if the fix did not solve the problem, credit could be applied on the follow up visit if needed. I like the follow up and the accountability. I also appreciate the honesty and willingness to work on this since other places had simply blown me off and told me that the unti was not serviceable.
Description of Work: I left a message and got a call back in about 1 hour. A tech was in the area (on a Saturday!) and came by exactly when hye said he would. My freezer was not working and he opened it up and discovered the fan was stuck (the first thing he checked). He carefully put it back together and it works perfectly

 + -1 moreNever fixed the problem, but kept charging for repeated visits. Very dishonest. Don't know what they are doing either as repairmen or as business people. Avoid at all costs.

 + -1 moreOverall, this was a very exhausting experience. Never in my adult life have I ever dealt with a company like this.
Description of Work: Bosch dishwasher flooded and stopped functioning. Too make a very long short.... First service call technician analyzed problem without removing the door or performing any continuity checks and determinined that it was the control board, could " tell by the smell". Second service call (different technician) installed defective parts, unit shorted out, determined that 2 other parts were defective, third service call (original technician) replaced defective parts , shorted out again. Still had not performed any electrical checks using proper instruments. Several days passed and we had not heard from them, so we called. Lady became rude and said they refused to come back again unless "they got more money". When we asked again to talk to a supervisor, they said that he/she would call, but DID NOT. We then sent a certified letter to the owner of the company outlining our concerns. James did not respond. The total estimate was about about $459.00, which I put on my credit card during the second visit. At this point, I called my Visa and filed a dispute for all but the initial $85 service call fee. I also filed a complaint with the BBB. Under no circumstances would I use this company. There are just too many other companies out there to choose from. Also, I did check with Angies List before calling this company and looked online for Bosch repair people. This Company was new to Angies List and had only 1 evaluation, which was an "A". Hate to say this, but used a company that has more history.

 + -1 moreThey did a really good job. They were only 10-15 minutes away from Liberty Lake. I waited 7 months to get it fixed and it didn't cost very much to get it fixed so I shouldn't have waited so long. I thought it was going to cost a lot more. He explained everything as he was going through it and what was wrong with the oven. He told us exactly how much it was going to cost.
Description of Work: I used Jimmy Z Appliance Services to fix our oven.
