Came out right away. One of only a few that would work on LG. Opened the door and declared it needs a new circuit board. Need a deposit of$325 cash/ check only. I was a little leary, but I was desperate. I waited for over 2 weeks. Once installed (7/11) and another $200 collected, I was told it would work within 24 hours....it didn't. Same error code. After over 20 phone calls they finally came back (8/19) to install a relay. I called the next day to let them know it was the same error code.... They haven't called or come back. I'm still without a fridge over 2 months later...

Description of Work: Our first repair order was dated 9/18/15. We wrote a check for one half of the cost of repairs....approx. $600. One repair was done on 11/5/15, but the oven still does not work correctly. The other repairs have not been done. I have left several messages but have not had a return call.

. In March 2014 their repairman said he could repair my microwave. He requested a $175 deposit and said the part I needed should be in in about a week. Months went by. No part. I called again and again and all they could tell me was that they were waiting for it to come from China. Finally it came and they called me the day before my vacation to say they were coming out the next day. Obviously that did not work so the repairman came out when I got back. The replacement part--which was not a new part but just an attempted repair on my old part--did not work. I was told that they would expedite it to be fixed under warranty, by the same place. I was told it would be about 5 days. Again I waited quite a while and kept calling. I was given no assurances as to timing or that the part would really be fixed correctly this time. I was told I could cancel the service so I ultimately did. I asked for a refund of my $175 several times. At one point, in November, I was told that a check had just gone out. Later, when no check arrived, I was told that they would give me a refund but would deduct a $93 diagnosis fee. I demanded the entire amount and the woman on the phone said she'd talk to her boss and get back to me. She told me that all their phone conversations are recorded (which is illegal if you have not first told the other party on the phone that you are recording so her boss would hear my complaint. I have had no call back and no refund. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau but have heard nothing. Still out $175.ted but never completed a repair.

I have double Viking Professional Series ovens. They were installed new when the house was built in 2007. The bottom one was always 25-50 degrees off and didn't cook well. Then the top one started having problems. So, before having a house full of out of town family for Thanksgiving last year, I called to get the ovens fixed. I called two places, and Jimmy Z was able to come out first, so I went with them. The other guy (can't remember the company) warned me, and said it would be worthwhile to wait, and that Vikings are tough to work on. I chalked it up to bad talk of his competitor. Bottom line - the ovens were never fixed after several visits. The repairman was arrogant and rude, and treated me like 'a stupid woman'. He lectured me about the ovens each needing 45 minutes to pre-heat - separately - so 90 minutes total. Yah, right. I had to leave work on several occassions because they only had daytime hours. The last time i left, they said I had to come during work hours so they could call the actual Viking company. When I got there, he pulled out his cell phone, called them, wrote the instructions on what to do on paper, hung up, and after doing nothing but call from my home he then told me he didn't have time to do it all because the company only scheduled him for an hour. After that, I decided it was no longer worth my frustration to deal with them anymore. After that I looked Jimmy Z up on the Better Business Bureau and found they have an F rating. I learned my lesson. Recently I joined Angie's List, found a company with A review (as well as an A+ BBB rating), and had them come fix it - Gateway Appliance. The fix was a simple $10 switch. The worker was very courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and had all of the parts he needed in his truck. He fixed my Viking refrigerator fan & freezer drain as well.
Description of Work: Fixed Viking Professional Series Freezer that had a clogged/frozen drain, the fan in the refrigerator and a switch in my Viking Professional Series oven that was making it never heat up.
