+ -1 moreOver all Jay Janette was great throughout the whole process. Not only was he was mindful of our budget and our schedule, he brought a lot a design talent to the table. Working with Jay felt more like a partnership: he listened to our ideas, made them better, and then made them realizable on our budget. I really felt like he was looking out for us and our interests throughout the whole process.
Description of Work: We were testing the waters to build a house in downtown Kirkland, WA. We did a lot of research on our own, and started the design and GC selection process, but there are many pit falls if you aren't developing land all of the time. We got to the point where we needed an architect to overcome the remaining hurdles and formalize the design concepts in a bid set detailed enough to get realistic GC quotes. A friend of a friend recommended Jay. Jay helped us through all of the initial pitfalls and produced for us drawings detailed enough for building permits and GC quotes.
