wallpaper removal
+ -1 moreAwesome experience. I have a 100 year old house that has been abused with layers and layers of wallpaper in two fairly large rooms (including the ceilings). I wanted all of it removed to get down to the lathe and plaster, with the intent of replastering both rooms and an entryway. The walls were 9 feet high, and the plaster was damaged and crumbling in places underneath, making removal very difficult. Heather did an excellent job, spraying down section by section and removing everything. The plasterer was quite adamant that there be nothing left on the walls, and he was able to start on the job right away after Heather's work. The only areas left undone covered plaster that was so damaged that the plasterer would have to remove the section entirely. It was a huge amount of work, up on ladders and overhead for sections. Heather was a pleasure to have in my house. Not only did she do an excellent job, but she was fun to talk to and played great music. I would recommend her for any wallpaper removal or paint work. I plan to ask her back to help me design the color scheme of the two rooms as well.
Description of Work: Heather removed several tough layers of wallpaper from the walls and ceilings of my living, dining room (each 14x14x9) and entryway (6x8x9). Most involved wetting and scraping by hand.

I have absolutely not a single complaint about her work, her absolute brilliant eye for color and her knowledge of how to make a room perfect. She's amazing. Use her services!!! You will not regret a single minute of it. And your house will be unique and gorgeous. I LOVE the way she can make a room sing with color, and yet have it blend perfectly with the style of your house. What a talent.
Description of Work: Heather has continued to provide services for me for my huge house addition. One of her expertises is color, and she has an amazing eye for color consultation. I have the most beautiful bathroom because of her artistic eye. I will use her for any repair on drywall, painting, color consultation, and any repair on drywall. She is a perfectionist but keeps to her estimates. I am thrilled as always with her work and would have no hesitation to recommend her highly.

+ -1 moreA smart, responsive and helpful worker - and with a sense of humor, to boot. One room had wallpaper that had been improperly glued and Heather worked very efficiently in taking it off inch by inch. We were surprised, given how difficult the job turned out to be, that she finished it in record time and left the walls in better condition than she found them. It was a pleasure working with her on our project. We would hire her again in a heartbeat. (And if you are into truly AMAZING artwork, ask to see her portfolio of murals and other art!)
