Clogged up my sink and stole my vacuum wand and tried to scam me. I’m trying to get reach Handy and they won’t call me back. They won’t give me a housekeeper. Every housekeeper that I’ve had with Handy steals things from me and I know they do because no one else comes in my house except my mother and she does not steal things. I’ve been threatened by one of the housekeepers. And I gave things away to them and they still steal things. I need this services done because I am not able to do all of it on my own. It’s too stressful for me. So please have Handy call me to schedule an appointment cleaning. Please I need help! I have panic attacks when I get too stressed out. The stealing though doesn’t help but I’m going to start checking bags at the door and they aren’t allowed to go to their cars until the job is done. Please have Handy call me 206-372-7465 my name is Kathryn Davis and I am a subscriber.

It went awful. One person came out, spent 9 hours and shoved all of our things into laundry baskets and Trader Joe’s bags. He left the kitchen, tubs and bedroom dirty. A second came to correct his errors. She was far worse than him. Smelled like an ashtray. Took smoke breaks. Missed the same two specific areas I had called her attention to, TWICE!!! This place is a scam.

1) Missed original appointment on 02/28, 2) Failed to notify me of no-show, 3) took 6 days to reschedule for 03/05, missing my Move-out deadline, 4) Promised FREE replacement cleaning, but still charged full price and no refund, 5) Only completed half the requested work before ran out of time having 6) Badly under-estimated job by about 50%, then 7) Expected me to schedule them again, for more $$, to finish the job. The only positive was the cleaner pro herself, who was friendly and cleaned well what she was able to finish. Will NEVER hire "Handy" again. Worst customer experience I have had in many years.

Great. She tackled it with energy and didn't stop until it was all done. She brought her own equipment and supplies, and cleaned from top (12 foot ceilings) to bottom, leaving the place sparkling. She was pleasant and even charmed my cranky cat ?.

It was horrible, I bought a table to be assembled by handy, the table came damaged, so I contacted the person who was assigned to me and told him not to come cause of the damaged table, he came anyway, again told him about the damaged table, and I would contact him when the new table arrived, I tried calling him several time with no response, so contacted handy thru email, no phone ?, they won’t give me my money back that I had to pay at time of booking, they want to give me another booking, which I don’t need as I will never use them again.

I'd scheduled home cleaning with this company and 4 times (in a row,) they cancelled at the last minute because of a 'last minute pro call off". One time the "pro" just didn't show up. I haven't been able to get anyone to come by for nearly 3 months. Also, they charge my credit card ahead of time. So each time they cancel I have to email and demand a refund. Now to their credit, they've always given me a refund, and they usually offer a $10 discount on the next service (which then gets cancelled). The one or two times that folks showed up they did a good job but, this company is useless. I don't understand why Angie's allows them to be part of their site. I've cancelled my service.

The first assigned cleaner never showed up; MIA and no communication. I waited 45 minutes at my home for them. However, the Handy customer service was quick to reschedule for the very next day once I reported it. That cleaner did show, but was half hour late; however, she did communicate that, and she even finished early.

I had a 1 st time cleaning before a party golfer 4 hrs. The only problem I'm having is I signed up for biweekly to start sept 20 as we are on vacation. But Handy started and billed be for Aug 30 th while we are gone. The charged me a 15 dollar cancellation fee. Hard to fix while out of the country. The 1 sr time since I signed up for biweekly was half off. Sandra Gracias

Charged me but never showed up. Sent a text one hour before scheduled arrival, rescheduling for the next day. Did that 3 days in a row. Was charged immediately but am still waiting on a refund 2 weeks later. I will literally never use these people or recommend them to anyone. I can't believe you allow them to offer services through Angie's List. This experience makes me question using Angie's List at all. Horrible.

I paid for 5 hours and then a sixth at the request of professional. Apparently, that was not enough. When I arrived the following day, I and my new tenant were appalled to find that cabinets, drawers, counters, and floors in the kitchen had not been touched. Although cleaner was a nice guy who worked hard, he was not prepared for this kind of work (deep clean after move-out). Very disappointing—and I had to pay my new tenant to get the place cleaned.

Some of the walls had been cleaned, most not. The windows had not been cleaned at all. I was not on site when the cleaner left, I was there to let them in and show them what need to be done. When they arrived they only had a backpack of basic toilet cleaning supplies and a bag of towels. No buckets, mop's, swiffer or alike, Said they have more in there car but when I returned about 3 hours later all that had appeared was a vacuum cleaner which wasn't really needed. I showed them all the walls that still had not been cleaned, plus the windows and then had to leave again. I explained what the job required when I call and booked with you, obviously Handy does not pass this on to its contractors, nor does it screen them to make sure they have the correct supplies to do the job. I found Handy through Angie's List the poor quality of BOTH Handy's service and those that they contract out too is very disappointing and makes me now question what certified really means. I would prefer just to be refunded as I certainly do not want the same cleaner to come back, and I have no faith in Handy's level of service either. Plus they charge you in advance so you have very limited means in which to make sure the job is done properly, there customer support is only email based so you never talk to a person either.

The experience was great. She is the reason I use the service. She goes above and beyond. She has just been wonderful. As far as the customer service of the company, it is lacking, and it doesn't seem like they are responding to my concerns appropriately based on some of the responses.
