 + -1 moreBal returned my call quickly and came over on the weekend to look at the work that needed to be done. After I got his estimate we scheduled work on a Saturday, it was raining heavily he called to reschedule. He ended up coming the next day. He was conscientious and very hard working. It wasn't the most artful pruning job, but it was exactly what I asked for and the price was right. I got an estimate from one other company and it was much, much higher. I would hire Bal for other trimming and yard clean up work without hesitation.
Description of Work: Bal pruned two overgrown camellias, one was quite large and a lilac tree. He limbed up a cedar (to clear the boughs resting on our roof). He also cut back two alders and a mountain ash to maximize our view. He cleaned up and hauled away the trimmings.

 + -1 moreThe conditions of the day he worked were wet and chilly, but that doesn't deter Bal from doing his work. He also does two other homes next to me, and this was because my neighbors saw his work and immediately asked if he would take care of their yards too. I don't think I've EVER met anyone with such a work ethic. And besides that, he's a wonderful person overall, very pleasant and very calm to have around. It's certainly my good luck to have found such a hard worker, but to tell you the truth I can see that this winning attitude is something that is part of who Bal is -- in every aspect of his life. I can only hope I can keep him forever helping me out.
Description of Work: Bal has kept my garden looking great. He comes out twice monthly and makes sure everything is in order, including pruning, raking, removal of debris, mowing, and generally whatever needs to be done. I have even had his associate, Miguel, go up onto my roof and sweep the leaves off of that area. We just had a very bad wind storm hit the Seattle area, and right on time Bal shows up Friday morning, the day after. He ended up spending most of the day cleaning up all the mess from the wind storm. He literally spent 2/3 of the day working on cleaning up every little pocket of mess -- which was a lot! I told him I didn't think it was his responsibility to go into the street area and clean there, but I see he also cleaned up that area, too.
