I needed a deep clean for my 900 square foot loft apartment in preparing it for sale and they not only forgot to clean my oven, properly dust or clean the floors, they used my toilet and clogged it so badly that I needed it professionally snaked. Avoid at all costs.

They were great at communicating what could and couldn't be cleaned within the time allotted for first time cleaning. We scheduled recurring services because of the quality. Also important green cleaning because we have children.

This is an excellent company that is very ecological and socially conscious. They value their employees and use no products that harm the environment. They will also avoid the slightest fragrance if required. Every person who came to clean was personable, conscientious and efficient. They are very thorough and the company has excellent customer service. We highly recommend them!!

I was so happy with the service I received from Green Cleaning Seattle -- Otium Maid Services. They clearly have their s*** together! Communication leading up to the service was stellar, very professional, and I appreciated that they put their pronouns in their email signatures. It was clear how everything was going to work, what I needed to do, and what information they needed from me. The service itself was great. The apartment is cleaner than I've ever seen it, including when I moved in. They even did the baseboards and little ridges along the walls. So much care! Can't wait to start on a regular cleaning schedule with them and never have to block out time to clean my place only to have it still feel dirty ever again!

I honestly can't say enough good things about Green Cleaners Seattle! They were *fantastic*!! When my wife came home, after the cleaners had left, her jaw dropped it was so clean. She literally spent the next 20 minutes walking around the house going, "Oh, wow! Oh, wow! Oh, wow!" Even our 5-year-old shouted, "Everything is so clean! It even smells clean!" when he walked in the door. Our house wasn't even this clean when we moved in over 2 years ago! And on top of all that, the cleaners were great around our dog (he's 14-years-old, and can't really see or hear much). They were very gentle with him, and gave him plenty of pets and scritches, which he loved.

We requested a quote online which was promptly provided along with scheduling options. Our cleaners arrived on time and performed a thorough deep clean of our single-story home. We requested they pay particular attention to the floor boards and walls, and we added on interior window cleaning. They were pleasant and hard-working. They handled working around our indoor-only cats perfectly. We were very happy with the job they completed. The office was very easy to communicate with and very professional.

Hi, our cleaners have done an excellent job. The cleaning was very thorough and we liked the fact that very little was moved out of place. I also notice that they clean under my claw foot tub. The communication was the office is very good. They let me reschedule the cleaning when I needed to get ready for an event. As long as you don't ask very often, they are very flexible.

Everything went well. Cat was our cleaner. She was very friendly and hard working. She came in and didn't stop until the job was done. Very happy with the results and would hire again.

The cleaner was ... Excellent. Super detail oriented and still efficient. The whole team was incredibly flexible and accommodating of my request on which products to use. They use an essential oil - new to me - that is spearmint or similar and smells like "clean." Again, having me check that I wanted this used. I like my place really clean. Lately I've been heads-down with work and not keeping it quite teh way I like. While I don't like the term "clean freak," the level of clean that resulted from the service fully satisfied me.

Abigail did a thorough and precision clean, nothing out of place and immaculate in all the tiniest spots! Pricey but very worth it to catch up on the housecleaning. I have ordered monthly cleaning services from this company going forward. Past experience had me dreading having the housekeeping done---no more!

I would definitely rate a 10! I loved coming home after being sick and before starting my stressful week. Everything looked great, all of the nooks and crannies were immaculate.

Romina arrived promptly on the dot of 9. I was able to soothe our cat (who hates vacuums generally) and Romina did the rest. Her equipment was wonderful, and her work ethic is super! She moved ceaselessly until I had to leave at 10:45. When I got home, she had locked up as instructed and all was sparkling: the floors were mopped and rugs looked brand new. She did things that I never think of, like wiping grubby door jambs, which makes a wonderful difference in the clean and cared for look and feel of home. I was surprised by the amount of vacuuming and mopping done and the many shiny surfaces. It is especially important to be sure that we aren't using toxic cleaners when our precious cat has chronic kidney failure. Also, we have some sentimentally valuable objects, so the care that was taken meant a lot. It's always nice to know, additionally, that part of the cost is insurance and bonding. Also, I understand that workers are treated better and have some work perks. I have paid less for housecleaning, but I am very impressed with the quality of the work I had done by Romina on Monday. I look forward to having SGC come back for a longer session next week.

Michael did an amazing job. Major kudos to his attention to detail and his super kind demeanor. I mean, really, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The team that I had was AMAZING! I had to leave the house to get stitches just before they were set to arrive so I left them a short note and took off. When I came home they were elbows deep in cleaning but took the time to make sure that everything that I wanted done was noted, they even asked how my hand was doing. When I came home again the house was glittering. My floors and windows by my front door have never been cleaner. I was so happy with the service provided!

I am so happy with our service!! My husband and I are working all the time and decided we didn't want to spend our little bit of free time cleaning the house. When I got my quote from Green Cleaning Seattle the person I spoke with on the phone was incredibly helpful, professional and kind. She followed up with an email summarizing our conversation, and I felt confident that they would deliver quality service. The day of the service they showed up right on time. When I got home later that day I could not believe how clean our house was. I really didn't realize how dirty it had been until I saw the results of their work. Everything was spotless and I am so grateful to them. While they are a tad more expensive than some other places out there, for us it was worth it. We had tried hiring house cleaners twice before, but had to fire the first one when they left our indoor cats outside in the rain three (!!!) times and the second one due to poor quality cleaning. The knowledge that I can trust Green Cleaning to deliver quality service and be mindful of our pets is worth a couple extra dollars.

Fabulous. Person on phone was clear with me that during the (I think) 4 hours they spent, they would focus on doing a thorough bathroom clean before moving on to anything else. After their time, bathrooms looked great!

2 people, Steve and Kelsey, about 3.5 hours. The staff is very attentive to detail, get right down to the job at hand, worked around our dogs and both of us who work from home.

Green Cleaning Seattle has made scheduling and arranging regular cleaning service a breeze. We have regular monthly service, with the occasional additional appointment. They area always on time and on the correct days. The home always looks and smells wonderful when we get home.

They spent more time asking questions than it would have taken to clean the house. To many restrictions.

Showed up and finished in time. Ladies were very professional, but friendly. Paid attention to most of the small details, and made our house look and smell great. However, in the two days since, I had noticed a few places (under the beds specifically) that they failed to clean. I was a bit surprised, since the rest of the service was so spot-on. HOWEVER once I called them they sent out another cleaner - no charge, of course - and finished the vacuuming. THAT is customer service, and I would say that they did a superior job! I think our initial job was an anomaly, as what I have heard about this company is all good. Our house is now proof that they stand behind their work, and are hard working folks.

It was fine. It wasn't as great as A&K. My husband took care of it.

They are very user unfriendly. Between 11/12 - 11/16 they sent ten emails and called twice trying to clarify the specifics. They did not feel that three hours would be adequate to clean a 1000 square foot condo that is already good shape. Their estimate of what they could do within the three hours was one bedroom and one bathroom.

It went quite well. They did what we asked and used "green" supplies, hence their name. No complaints. We decided to go in a different direction but not because they were in any way lacking. They are not the least expensive cleaning outfit around.

We used GCS one time in the past for a move-in clean after our son moved out of our condo and we were moving in. They did a fine job. However, this time we had a long list of things we were disappointed with. I was surprised to see that the cleaners are not even asked to do blinds, sliding door tracks, baseboards or window sills. These items were not even on their "clean list" so if you're expecting a real Deep Clean, you'll be disappointed. I think this is a real shortfall in their service. GCS offered to come out and fix our issues but it was easier to do ourselves since we had company coming early the next morning. They granted us a discount approximating about 40 minutes of work. Examples of our issues: There was little dusting done in either bedroom except for the dressers, and it was obvious the cleaner cleaned around what was on the top. The main bathroom was left with hair and dust on the floor, and the refrigerator had fingerprints and dried food left on the front. For 5 hours worth of work at $50 an hour, and given the fact that we have no pets or children, few knick-knacks, and don't live at the condo but for a week a month, it was hard to figure out exactly how they spent 5 hours without dusting or paying attention to the details. Scheduling was friendly and precise. Be advised that if you have more than one cleaner, they will arrive separately and at different times. So two people working 2.5 hours actually spent 3.5 hours in the condo, which was an inconvenience because it's small and we had to go out. I received no reply to my complaints until I sent two emails. However, I did receive the invoice right away. I see that GCS will probably respond to this post as they do every other one, giving an excuse for what happened. I am a long-time Angie's List member with several properties and leave honest feedback based on my experience.
