Description of Work: In April of 2002, I called them due to a sewer leakage in my front yard. The diagnosed a broken side sewer. They fixed the first broken area, found a second broken area and quotedme $8,000 to replace the rest of the side sewer. I got other bids. Chose a sewer contractor, who told me the work Gene Johnson had done was not to code and he'd have to tear it out. Checked and found out Gene Johnson did the work without getting a permit. I fired them. They refunded my $750.00 after I contacted my lawyer. I got the entire side sewer job permitted, completed, inspected and my yard put back nicely for $1,800 by the sewer contractor (who has since retired.) I would never recommend Gene Johnson Plumbing for any type of plumbing or sewer work. They are unethical and way over-priced.
