Description of Work: The internet service goes down on a regular basis. It takes over a half hour in the morning to get online and at 4:30 each evening it shuts down. When we contact the carrier, after a half hour hold, they just try to up sell to higher service than to look into the problem. We're just stuck with them because there are no other providers available in our little crease in everyone's service area. Very frustrating since this is a business that rely's on good internet service.

After a very long record of calling and asking Frontier to fix our poor internet and wi-fi service, we still have issues after 18 months. I have been on the phone for over 1 hour numerous times with them between the on-hold wait and the service, they have sent a technician out who didn't know what the problem was. Another was supposed to come out last week and was a no show and there was no call from Frontier about it. Tonight I called and unbelievably got through in just 2 minutes but was then disconnected. I have now been waiting on the Support Chat for 15 minutes waiting for some to 'chat' with. We cannot stream any video without being constantly kicked off. How does a company get away with taking our money and providing such inferior service???????? We only have 1 other option where we live and they are more expensive:-( I am disgusted in Redmond, WA. Don't ever go with Frontier! Ever!!
Description of Work: Frontier did absolutely NOTHING to resolve the issue of our poor internet.wi-fi performance over the past 18 months.

They charge $140 a month for the bundle package. Initially they had trouble getting me hooked up with Wi-Fi, but that was finally figured out and everything has been pretty status quo since.
Description of Work: I use Frontier for my internet, phone, and TV.

It went very well. The only criticism that I have about the whole experience is that the air cards had to stop working before we were told they were not the correct ones. When they changed over it would have been nice if they had proactively contacted the people who had air cards that hooked up to DVR and let them know they would need replacing. Since this had to be done by a technician we could have scheduled an appointment to get it done. Since I am sure they have information on who is renting what, it seems like it would be easy enough to look up all the air card users and give them a call. No sorry or credit was offered either

Would not use cable from them. Always losing a signal. Not good 2 weekends in a row during Super Bowl .

Installation was scheduled, timely and punctual. Service has been uninterrupted and sufficiently fast internet for 2 high-use people. Recommended as alternative to Comcast.

The battery backup unit on our FIOS installation went South. Frontier had the problem diagnosed in no time - sent over a tech who arrived on time, fixed the problem, and I was back online and working in less than a day.

They built the cable into the house and installed everything for us initially. I think I misunderstood them when they were selling the package to me because the charges seemed confusing. They actually ended up saving me some money, so I'm in love with them and happy to give them a good review. The men who came out were nice and sweet to my kids. I did not expect any of the things that they did, but my experience was great. I have had no problems with the service and it is super fast.

The TV remotes don't work. My Dad has gone through 5 and I have gone through 3 and any key works maybe 50% of the time. So try pressing Mute 50-60 times and see your frustration grow. I don't have room to put in everything that went wrong with this but everything did; we've had them only 2 months so far. The latest thing is the bills (4 bills in 2 months between 2 house holds) are wrong by hundreds of dollars. To save time, I'll just point out my Dad's experience. First bill for $462. It was supposed to be $113. We come to find out that the $49 promised installation cost was $209. Also the bill only specified it was for 1 month but they said it was for two months. They finally said they would wave the $209 as I mentioned we have the flyer saying specifically $49 and I even asked the sales rep "Are you sure the installation is only $49" (I don't trust anyone). So next month his bill is $325. That's $113 + $209. They never even had in their record that we talked to them last month. This rep "Jenny" (they won't give their last name) says that it has to go through an approval process and it may not be granted. I said why would you put out a flyer for $49 installation and then go back and charge $209. Are you asking for the Attorney General to be involved in this? She said she'll send the bill back for review. As I've received 4 bills so far and had to fight on each one over hundreds of dollars in over charges, I very much doubt that. I've spent conservatively speaking about 20 hours on the phone with them in the last two months but they have no record of any of my calls. It's just fight and fight again each month.
Description of Work: My dad was sent a flyer for Frontier Communications for phone, TV and internet for $113. He wanted me to go in too. We both did and that's the biggest mistake I made in 20 years.

I think based on their pricing, the service is fair for what we have. I haven't had any problems or issues with them. I haven't had any interrupted service.

I have had internet service with Frontier/Verizon for about 7 years now. Over the last month my internet connection has been hit and miss. I have tried several times to contact them using their number on my billing statement. Every time I get a computer answering the phone and asking me questions that aren't relevant to my issue. They then put me on hold to talk to an agent. I am usually on the phone for anywhere between 30-45 minutes of hold and usually to the point I can't stay on hold anymore because I have other things to do such as go to work. This morning an agent hung up on me and I had to go through the whole process again. A week ago I got through to an agent who said he would run a 24hr test on my line, and that in 24hrs I would get a call from either a technician wanting to come and check my line personally or from an automated response saying the problems was fixed. Well 48hours later I got an automated response saying they had finished the check on my line--nothing else, no resolution. I had to call back and go through the whole process with the automated computer. After getting through to an agent, I had to give the entire background information again as to what is wrong and how I had called and talked to someone from customer service. She then ran a couple more tests and said she needed to send a technician out to check the line and modem. She couldn't do it herself, so she had to transfer me to dispatch. The dispatch person set me up with an appointment---however their service window is 11 hours. I had to pick a day (weekday of course), where I could be at home from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. They could not give me a time, simply the 11 hour window. Definite "F" for service. Would I use them again? We'll see if they can fix my problem tomorrow. And the only reason I would use them again is because of the hassle to switch providers.
