I called other plumbers and they were all booked up or had left for a long weekend. I called Fox and they were able to get a plumber to my house within a couple hours. Chad came and snaked out the kitchen line, used a chemical rinse but best of all -- he realized that my faucet had a flow restrictor on it. Always wondered why there was not much water coming out. He took out the flow restrictor and I had water in a volume I only dreamt of. They are quite familiar with Angie's List customers and welcome our business. USE THEM - THEY ARE GREAT!

Overall it went very well I will give them great recommendations. They came out when they said they would and they also were nice and professional.

It's 3pm the day before a major holiday. I was doing some minor plumbing work myself and needed to shut off my house water supply. The valve is located in the garage. When I tried to close the valve, water started shooting out of the valve. Whether it was closed or open, water continued to squirt out. The only way to stop the leaky valve was to shut off the water at the main at the street. I went to Angie's List and looked up plumbers in my area. Fox was at the top of the list. I called them and was told they could get someone out in 2 hours. I was happy with a 2hr wait, but five minutes later Fox called me back to tell me that they could have someone there in 25 minutes! Marcus showed up promptly and immediately started working on my valve problem. He was most courteous and professional. Marcus needed to open up the drywall and cut out the old valve on copper pipe and solder in a new one. He was all done in an hour and a half. He also checked my water pressure and made recommendations for improvements to my water heater. A day before a major holiday, 25 minute response, professional work; I was very satisfied. I will definitely use Fox Plumbing again!

The plumber got the job done, but ended up doing some work that I didn't request and not to the standard I had hoped. The job we hired for, which was to move the drain pipe for our dishwasher from behind the dishwasher to under the kitchen sink, he did admirably. He also changed up some rusted out pipes in the process. Fine. Unfortunately, he seemed convinced that the factory-installed water supply hose on our Asko dishwasher was temporary, and wanted to replace it with a copper one. He spent half an hour trying to figure out how, then called Asko only to find what I'd already told him -- that the factory-installed hose was not temporary. He also re-installed the dishwasher (I had previously de-installed it), and did not level it properly. That probably cost me half an hour of his time that I didn't need to pay for. Still, everything works, and he did it all correctly. He just sold about 45 minutes or an hour's more work than I wanted to buy. Also, in classic plumber form, he showed up at 4 PM, but all the dispatcher ever told us was "after 11 AM."

As a member of Angie's List, I called the recommended Fox Plumbing. In less than two hours and on a Sunday, service technician, Carl Banks arrived. He was very courteous and professional from the start. We explained the problem and he showed us the exact cost from his service chart. We were so happy with his service and honesty, that we will call him and his company again. We will also recommend Carl and Fox Plumbing to our friends.

They were great. They came in, put slippers on their shoes and crawled under things to get access to the plumbing. The next time we need something to do with plumbing, we'll definitely call them again.

I called them and they were very prompt to respond and do the work. They are neat and clean. They are a very good service to use. I can't really grade the price as I don't know what other plumbers cost, so I have nothing to compare them to. I would use them again.

They showed up pretty quickly. They gave me an estimate of how long it would take and they went a little over the time frame. They were pretty professional and did a good job as far as workmanship.

We actually wanted to use another plumber with a lower bid, but that plumber didn't show up at the appointment time for the start of work, so we called Fox at the last minute as a replacement. They were on-site and ready to work within 2 hours. Rick was the lead technician and was excellent-as was the whole team. Very professional. We were worried about how long the job would take, but Rick and his team worked very hard and fast to get done sooner-and they did! We really appreciated their outstanding work. Very highly recommended.

Fox Plumbing was very professional and scheduled a time for me very promptly. The plumber, Carl, was polite and conscientious about his work. I am happy with their work and will use them in the future.

First had Nate come out to fix a leaky washing machine connection. He is very methodical and careful vs. working quickly. Good at educating the lay person about their plumbing. While he was there turning off the main water supply in the garage he noticed the hot water heater was leaking! Argh. Talked to GE customer service for me to try to get warranty coverage for replacement. Helped me troubleshoot how to get this replaced in the most timely and affordable fashion. In the end I called Fox Plumbing back and had Nate come out to deliver and install a new heater. Work was done very neatly and carefully. Again didn't seem to be concerned about moving quickly, but I don't really know how fast one should be to do the things he did. When he was done and "clocked out" already, he decided to change one thing about the way he set up the new system to make it safer for my little kids. He did this on his own time just to do the right thing and I really appreciated that. The last picture shows the new (PVC) pipe going closer to the floor to decrease chance of hot water discharge spraying a kid.

I called the 24 hour line and received an immediate call-back. They promised to come within three hours of calling on a Saturday morning. After two and a half hours, they called to let me know that he was on his way and would be there within the hour. He arrived about eight minutes after the first promised time! Luckily if was a simple problem, but he thoroughly checked everything and tested and retested to ensure the problem was solved. He explained everything. While he was here, I had him go into the crawl space to determine what would be involved in moving the main water valve, which is in a very awkward place.

The whole experience was great. I called on a Thursday afternoon and was offered a 9:00 a.m. appointment for the following day. Marcus called me at 8:30 to make sure someone was home and they got there a little bit early! Marcus and Brian were able to discover the source of the problem in about 10 minutes (no exaggeration), by accessing our crawl space through a hole the size of a doggy door. This has been an ongoing problem that 1 other plumber and 2 contractors couldn't figure out. Marcus called me and gave me a thorough description of the problem and the work that needed to be done to correct it. He and Brian worked from 9: 00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. digging up our crawlspace, replacing the broken section of pipe and removing years of compacted food and waste that were clogging our sewer line. Marcus and Brian were wonderful. They worked so hard, and were always friendly and professional and gave us updates on their progress. Unfortunately, they found that we need to have our sewer line from the sidewalk to our home replaced as well. I can say I wouldn't consider having anyone else besides Fox Plumbing do the work for us. These guys are great!

Marcus did an excellent job. I'm a first time customer of Fox but because of the positive impression Marcus made, I will certainly be using Fox for my plumbing needs in the future.

They did a great job, both before, during, and trying to keep the owner from going into shock that her new landscaping job might have to be torn up to fix the sewer line.

We were very pleased to have our problem solved so quickly and professionally. We have nothing but good things to say about Fox service, which we have used before to solve gas problems.

Overall went very well. We were not really thrilled with spending that much money but the 45-year-old galvanized pipe was quite corroded and we figured we'd spend the money now and not worry about future leaks. The replacement pipe is guaranteed for 50 years and their labor for 10 years. Both workers were courteous, worked hard, and didn't mind my hanging around watching them work and asking a lot of questions. The biggest reason we went with them was because they said they'd tunnel under the driveway instead of cutting through it. It was expensive but worth the extra $500 not to wreak havoc on our landscaping and have to fix the driveway concrete. They also installed an outside water shut-off (included) rather than having to shut it off at the meter every time we replace a faucet.

Great service! When the city came out and determined the leak was in our line, not theirs, Fox came out the right away and installed a jumper line. When they returned on Monday, they did a very efficient job of evaluating what was needed (more extensive than they'd thought), obtaining the materials, excavating the existing line, installing the new line, and cleaning up inside and out. When I commented on how well the job was done, one of the workers said their company policy is to treat every job as if it were for their own house. Great guys, great attitude, great job.

Very well, called that morning, the phone scheduler was very helpful and sent someone right away. Plumber was courteous and hard working. Called to report he was running a few minutes late. He brought all the right equipment with him from the start and working alone (and diligently) spent about 4 hours. He encouraged me to call if there were any follow up issues and gave me his direct line.

They are really fast, but I thought a bit pricey.

They were very nice and graciously accepted our Angie's List discount. They even sent out a thank you card with an additional $25 coupon for any future work. The whole experience was very good, as good as it could be with a broken water heater.

They did not tell me how much it was going to be until the job was completed. The serviceman told me something was broke so I had them replace the piece. They over charged for the piece and over charged for the serviced. After speaking with them, they finally gave me a $50.00 rebate. They were professional, and they fixed the problem but they charged a bit much for the leak repair.

Two guys, very professional about shoe protection, worked fast. These are my new plumbers!

I was very impressed with Tim and Jose. They arrived at 9:50, introduced themselves and got to work. The line was roughly 80 feet long and took most of the day to tunnel. Tim then asked if it was a convenient time to turn off the water to the house or if I needed them to wait 5 or 10 minutes. He then turned it off (wearing booties so no dirt was tracked in) and they hooked up both ends. I didn't time them, but it was considerably less than an hour. They tested the line. Tim called the water company to inspect the connections, but they were shorthanded and couldn't get there till the next day. Tim assured me that he and Jose would be there on Wednesday as well to finish the backfilling. The water company inspected before 11 and Tim and Jose said they would be there at 2 to finish. About 1:45 he called to say he would be a few minutes late. They arrived at 2:05 and finished the work to my complete satisfaction. I highly recommend this company.
