Fox Plumbing & Heating

The serviceman from Fox showed up on time, listened to the issues, and then started investigating. There were many moving parts. We had had a remodel and some of the pipes and pressure valves were difficult to locate and we also had a new automatic sprinkler system that seemed to affect things. He was very thorough and was sure not to leave until the problem was completely solved. That is what I most appreciated. He made an adjustment, tested, the problem seemed solved. Most service reps would then bill me and leave, and within a few days or hours the problem would resurface. But the man from Fox tested, then retested and then tested different scenarios. The problem resurfaced under certain circumstances and he continued until he had completely solved it. He was very methodical and knowledgeable. It was expensive (as I had been warned by friends that plumbing problems are), but I am completely happy with the results and he was able to answer other questions for me in the process. Big thumbs up.

I initially called Fox Plumbing and Heating because another plumber was unable to finish a bathroom and tub / shower install. Will from Fox came right out that morning, performed the necessary work in the bathroom and indicated that a large portion of the old pipes throughout my home had rusted out and needed to be replaced. I had seen the rust in the sections of the bathroom pipe that had been removed, so this was rather apparent. They provided me with an estimate to replace the pipes which I authorized and scheduled. They came out to do the job along with a few other minor tasks. The work was completed quickly and within the estimate provided. Will and his partner (also named Will) were both hard working, professional and did a great job.

It went very well and the job took them much longer than they thought it would. Recently we had a leak in the line (Oct 2011). They repaired without any additional charge.

We noticed a slight back-up from our basement drain. We called Fox to troubleshoot and Mike was the first tech on-site. He was very professional and arrived right on time. He could not get the line cleared, so he requested that a water jet be brought out, explaining the cost and the need; they needed to scope the pipe to find out what was causing the problem. Rick was onsite within the hour with the water jet and camera and they found the issue was a broken pipe out near the sidewalk. They thoroughly explained the situation and my options. We moved forward with the entire sewer replacement, in addition to a new water line at the same time, and the team was able to start immediately. When they dug up the connection at the sidewalk, they also determined that both neighbors were connected at that location. Both neighbors ended up replacing their lines as well, to eliminate the hassle of having to dig up our front yard again in the future. Unfortunately, a large portion of our retaining wall had to be removed, which added to the cost. They pulled all three sewer lines in, replaced our water line, and reconnected two downspout connections, all with very little service interruption. With the retaining wall now gone, there was a lot of excess dirt. They removed the excess dirt at no additional cost. The entire project took about 7 days to complete. From the initial assesment to completion, all on site during the project (Mike, Jesse, Clinton, Jose, Rick, ...) were very courteous and made sure to communicate everything that was happening and answer any questions we had about the process. Mike went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with their services, tying in daily to explain where they were in the process and what was left to be done. I definitely will recommend Fox to my friends and family. We plan to have more plumbing work done in our house this fall, and Fox will be the first people I call.

My 2-years old apparently threw a toy into the toilet, which caused them to clog just when I had house guests from out of town. NEAT. Having called a few companies, Fox were the only ones who were able to make a same-day appointment, which was obviously what I needed. Chad came on time, was very nice and polite, explained to me what was going on, and managed to solve the problem. He did try to up-sale me a better flushing system, which was fine by me, but I kindly refused the offers. Will definitely use his services again, he seems like the reliable plumber that every home-owner needs to have on file.

To install the new feeder line, a few holes had to be punched into the ceiling. Mike works with a dry wall guy and scheduled him to come in as soon as Mike was done. This was really convenient.

We had noticed a fairly significant drop in water pressure, and after having the utility company look at the water hookup, it was determined that we had a pressure release valve that was leaking as well has a possible leak in the main water line running to the house. Mike did an excellent job of not only diagnosing our problem, but in putting in a permanent repair that should last us for some time. More importantly, I felt like we could trust what they told us as he probably could have sold a bigger job since we're certainly not plumbing experts.I would definitely recommend their services.

Rick from Fox came out and did an estimate. He was able to match a price from a competitor and we hired Fox to do the job. Kris the service technician came out to do the job. He did a great job of explaining what he was going to do and listening to what we wanted to have done. When it came to cutting the first hole in the deck he cut it in the wrong spot. At the time of our discussion I didn't think of it, but he should have had me mark exactly where I wanted the hole. Trust, you and me, I marked the second hole. He was able to put a cap on the first hole which was an acceptable solution to the problem. Kris ran the pipe and set up the compression valve for the inspector. The morning of the inspection Kris called to make sure the valve was exactly where it was suppose to be. The inspector did his job and Kris returned to finish the job. I liked the effort Kris took in not messing up my new landscaping - he set up in the alley to do all the cutting. He also cleaned up the area fairly well. I was happy with the work he did and would recommend him to work again at my home.

My wife decided that she wanted a new pedestal sink and new faucet and she had decided to do it herself. Well, with our old 1948 plumbing she quickly realized that she was in over her head and called Fox Plumbing to come to the rescue. John P. was able to come out quick (that day) and and replaced our old stops & risers, p-trap and changed out the pedestal sink/faucet. We thought that the sink swap would've been a quick job, but our old plumbing gave John a bit of trouble too. He was happy to take the extra time and did a great job of installing everything. After he was done we unfortunately discovered a scratch on our brand new faucet. It was late in the day, but he said he would be back to change it out in a couple of days. We scheduled him for a few days later and once again he happily came out and swapped out our scratched faucet with a new one (at no extra charge!). We've used Fox Plumbing in the past with good results and are once again extremely happy with our Fox Plumbing service. We will continue to call Fox whenever we have any plumbing needs!

Outstanding. Chad was professional, efficient and very neat. The extra repairs were necessary. I had been thinking of replacing the toilet for a while and after talking with Chad I felt it was the best thing to do. Their charges were reasonable since they provide outstanding service and are entitled to make a profit that is why I rated them as good for price.

The service was excellent. The plumbers were thorough and professional. A real pleasure working with them. Very satisfied overall.

The whole experience went very smoothly. The estimator came on time, efficiently finished his work, answered my questions and got back to me next business day. He then scheduled the repair the next day. The installer was also professional and did his work efficiently and effectively.

Fox was very friendly and responsive. They sent Marcus Mosley out within the hour. I showed him what we wanted done and showed him the gas piping layout and he asked me a few questions. Marcus was done in about 20 minutes and he removed the old pipe for recycling as well. While he was re-lighting the water heater Marcus noticed that the gas regulator was showing signs of potential failure and he did two things: a) he urged us to replace the water heater (it is still under warranty) and provided documentation that would help us to do that, and b) he gave us - at no charge - a leak detector and alarm to mount on the water heater. Definitely service above and beyond the call of duty!

On Friday Dec 17, 2010 I made an appointment for service on Wednesday Dec 22 at 12:00 noon. On the day of service no one showed at the appointed time and no one called. I finally called around 2:00-3:00pm and was told the service tech was on his way. Their excuse was that they had a high volume of calls that day. He finally showed after 4:00pm. Once the service tech arrived, he quickly, effectively, and professionally resolved the problem. Good job by him. The service from this provider was good, but the front office/scheduling/management has some serious problems. Pre-arranged appointments should take priority over call-ins.

Fox Plumbing came in to help identify a noise occurring with our master bath sinks when the water was running. We were about to begin remodeling our second bathroom, which shares a wall with our master bath and wanted an opinion before the second bath wall was permanently sealed up. When they arrived, immediately identified our sink plumbing installation was not done correctly and was not up to code. Provided a quote to re-do master sink plumbing and installation, as well as the second bath plumbing. Once we decided to go with Fox Plumbing, they were able to come out same day to perform the services. Fox even went so far as to move the plumbing lines in the second bath to align better with where the vanity sink was going to be. This would provide for an easier and 'to code' installation and hook up. We appreciated their quick response, honesty and ability to quickly assist and called them out when we experienced an issue with a broken outdoor faucet that was leaking. Again, they came out quickly, identified the issue and resolved it with minimal impact to the exterior of the house.

House is 1948 built and Marcus took his time with the lines to get them clear for us(roots and old poo). Work was done in a cramped old crawl space and he remained calm, professional and cheerful throughout what ended up being a 2 day process. We appreciate the way he explained what he would do and the way price and work where done on time and at quote.

The work went fine. The good quality of their work and their workmanship stood out.

The service went very smooth. He arrived ahead of schedule. He even called and asked if it was OK to come early. He protected his feet with booties each time he came in. He did not rush and come to conclulsions immediatly. He trouble shoot the toilet before he came to me with his findings. He was very professional from the time he called and the time he left.

Very prompt. Heath came out & estimated the day we called; Mike came the next morning and spent the day doing the work: effeciently and expertly. I think it took Mike longer than estimated, but he charged us the agreed upon price. Great job.

I'm on the board of a pea-patch / giving garden at my church. We'd decided that we need to install an irrigation system for our raised beds, but we had no idea what all that would entail. I didn't even know what questions to ask. Fox was the only company I contacted that was willing to come out and give us a free estimate - a huge deal considering the garden isn't funded. Rick was wonderful. He came out and spent an hour measuring distances, locating the water supply line, counting out off access points, etc. He made suggestions & answered my questions. Then he provided a comprehensive bid for the project. I feel well educated about this project now & am well prepared to speak to the garden board. We will likely get one more bid (and we'll have to pay for) but I'm leaning strongly towards hiring Fox for this project. Thanks Rick!
