I was extremely pleased with Fox Plumbing. I called them when we busted a water line supplying our toilet. (Yes, trying to be a plumber!) Dave A from Fox arrived within about 30 minutes of my call. He was professional and quite personable. He commented that given the age of the line and the brittleness not to be upset that we had broken it. (Not at all condenscending, thanks!) He quickly fixed the problem, made all of the adjustments and cleaned up any mess he had made. Very positive experience that will my Fox my choice for plumbing!

Just had our first experience with Fox, chosen from Angie's reviews, for a clogged drain. It turned out to be something that could be rather simply and (embarrassingly) easy to correct. David, our tech, was super-friendly and offered to look at any other problems in the home he thought he might be able to address, and provided some good education to avoid further issues, since we were paying for the service call anyway (thank you, Angie, for the coupon to take the sting out of that). It was just a little over an hour from the time we called for service until he arrived, and we received a confirmation call while he was en route. Overall, very impressed with Fox (even if David was none too impressed with us :).

Fox Plumbing confirmed that our Pressure Reducing Valve was bad and there was a leak in our main line. They were on time and professional. This job included jack hammering part of our basement floor and they were extremely careful to contain the mess and clean it up afterwards. We were pleased with the work they did and everyone that worked on the job.

We had several issues in our newly-rented condo and wanted to work-on getting all the maintenance services professionally done. Signed up for Angie's list with the intent of finding our services here. First one was a bit of a dud. They came out and two of the three issues were no-brainer things that I should have caught myself (one I ended up fixing myself after being told it would require an ENTIRE shower re-installation, a lie), the third one, the toilet, needed to be replaced and was leaking a little water (nothing horrific). Being off work to arrange this, being new landlords with tenants in the unit, I pulled the trigger on the toilet that the service person "happened to have" in their van. Having since been looking around at the cost of toilet installations OUCH! $650+ for a basic toilet install when you can get basic a toilet itself for $150. Then I was told too, "we'll knock the cost of 'looking' at the other issues off the bill and there, Angie's list paid for itself, right?" They didn't even DO anything on the other items. So word to the wise, before you trust an Angie's list referral to jump right in, do your pricing research. We will do a lot more comparative shopping first.

This is the first time I have used Fox Plumbing & Heating. I was very pleased with their work and had no problem with the cost. I have a 60 year old house and about once a year I have a plumbing situation. Their cost seems to be more reasonable than my last company (I live in West Seattle). I also like the way the company is organized. They schedule their calls individually so you won't be getting many of those dreaded calls from their office that they are running three hours late. My work time is precious, too, and Fox seems to respect that. Their Tech was prompt, efficient and professional. I will be using this company again.

The plumbers were fine, not cheap, but did the job. One of them said we should replace the entire toilet rather than just the insides which seems ridiculous for a 10 yr old toilet that has hardly been used. The heat guy spent the entire day at our house trying to figure out our very complicated heating system. Replaced two expansion tanks on hot water heaters that I'm not totally convinced was necessary but how am I to know. Since the time he was here, one of the water tanks stopped working (plugged filter) and several of the heat fans don't work although we thought he checked them.

Came the same day I called...fixed a leak and did some clean up work that was needed from the original installation (not done by Fox). Would definilty recommend.

Called in AM and within four hours, the repair man was at the door. He arrived during his window, was professional and worked quickly. The overall price charged was rather high, but the professionalism extended and the fact that these issues were correctly and quickly fixed mitigated some of that extra cost.

Water bill went up and the inspector recommended replacing the 60+ pipe. They came out and gave me a cost sheet. I decided to use this Company as I was getting more for less. 25+yrs ago I used this company and was satisfied. A few days later my sewer backed up and I called them. They came the next day. Took the toilet out and cleared the line. They showed me there the REAL problem was and gave me a cost write up. The next week they came and replaced the water line as agreed. They were prompt, professional. and kept me in the loop. I would recommend them , absolutely!!!!

I called fox Plumbing at 8am Friday morning to send someone out to find the leak. They quoted between 11a-1pm, calling to let me know he was on his way at about noon. David A arrived before 1pm as expected. He checked the bathrooms above and finding no obvious leaks, cut a hole in the ceiling wallboard. Sure enough the shower drain in the master bathroom directly above the wet spot was the culprit. He promptly replaced the drain, seal and piece of pipe even showing me the actual leak and the mushed up old seal. He cleaned up and was done in 1.5hrs. Very satisfied, great service, prompt and friendly.

Good recovery and professionalism. I had a bad experience with scheduling of work where they were not respecting my time and wrote a negative review on Angies list. Not sure if it was the Angies list post or what but they called 2 days after my original experience and said they would like to make it up to me as a customer and scheduled an inspection for no charge. Showed up on the appointed time and were very professional. Provided me with great information and did not oversell the needed repair to my sewer line. As a small business person, I know that mistakes are made. I was impressed with their response to the initial issue.

The service man was super friendly, helpful, professional. He analyzed the problem promptly, then replaced the circuit board. Cost wasn't small, but then again, we were on an emergency basis, and we totally appreciated their helping us out so quickly.

Work was excellent. They did not have some of the items that were needed for the job and had to go purchase them but did not charge me for the time. It did take longer than I expected and was a little more expensive than I thought it was going to be, but not knowing much about plumbing that could just be my lack of understanding. They were extemely nice and didn't mind me watching and asking questions to learn. Overall, great!

Someone was able to come out the day after I called; I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of scheduling for even a minor problem. The technician was prompt and efficient. He was also able to explain the cause and simple solution in a way which didn't make me feel like an idiot for having called for such a minor issue. He seemed apologetic for having to charge me for the minimum call-out fee, but I was glad to pay it as I was educated on what the issue was, how to avoid or fix it in the future, and what to plan for in the future (perhaps buying a new faucet eventually). I was told that there was faucet stock on the truck in case it was necessary even though it wasn't.

The work was done and we have had no problems with it. The parts that were less satisfactory were that the company insisted on replacing an extra part during the service that significantly added to the bill. The technician was unable explain why this was necessary and simply said it was company policy. My husband had to call and talk to the manager to get the details and in the end he didn't agree with the need but at least he understood why they do it. We wished the technician would have been able to explain the company policy. Additionally the technician was asked to assess a leaky faucet and said that it needed to be replaced. When asked what was wrong with it he could not explain it (or possibly was unwilling to try) so we worried that we were being overcharged and the problem was over diagnosed. We later brought in someone else to fix the leaky faucet who agreed that the faucet needed to be replaced but was able to explain why and charged substantially less to do so. Overall we didn't feel like the technician was able to answer our questions and would rather work with someone who can. The office was very professional and responsive though and that was appreciated.

We have owned our home for three years and thought it was time to have our sewer pump (for our guest quarters) and our sump pump (keeps our basement dry) inspected and serviced. As we feared, both systems were old and although still functioning, were in need of attention. The Fox plumber (Ryan) was very professional and prepared a range of options based on his inspection. There was no pressure from Ryan to replace the pumps and although he pointed out that the pumps were old and that one of the pumps was in bad condition, he also gave us the option of a simple service. We decided to go ahead and replace both pumps and do a full restoration. It was a full day's work and we feel it will be good value. Fox Plumbing has worked for us on a number of previous occasions and although their work is on the pricier side, the quality of the work has to date been excellent.

Very good overall. After researching water heaters, I knew that I wanted to go tankless. I was surprised at the high estimate for a tankless system. (However, I did purchase the top of the line unit). The Technician, William Sterling was great! He did not try to talk me into the tankless system, it was my decision to spend more for better technology and energy savings. The unit only heats water on demand, not 24/7 like a regular water heater. What I failed to take into consideration was the amount of labor involved in setting the system up. Hence, the high cost. We are very happy with the system and have no regrets. It's much like spending money to have solar power installed. You hope that it eventually pays for itself, but that isn't the only reason for going that way.

From start to finish ... Initial visit to scope the work and prepare an estimate, and then the actual work that followed later the same week, the extensive plumbing upgrade that we had Fox Plumbing do during our basement remodel fully met our expectations.

The plumber arrived the same day I called and was on time. He covered his shoes before he came in and was very polite and professional.

While Fox certainly isn't cheap, it's worth it to have the work done promptly, efficiently, and professionally. Kyle was not only skilled at his work, he was a very professional representative for Fox!

Went well. It took about 2 weeks as they had to order parts. Originally they tried to fix the leaking valve but after 2 hours gave up and decided to order a new part. Because the other sink was the same age, we decided to replace both.

Fox showed up on time for what originally thought would be a clogged toilet. After assesing the issues, it was decided the plumbing had to be brought up to code. Their quote was fair and we were very happy with their services.
