Fischer Plumbing & Heating

My home has 3 floors with top floor having cathedral ceilings. Built in 1980 there is one forced air gas furnace and heat pump for entire house. Impossible to balance the heat or cooling load. Had Seth come out and we agreed to 2 wall units that run off one heat pump. Mounted the heat pump on my room (I have a section of flat room on top floor). Professionally wired and installed wall units up high in kitchen and living room. Jeremy was installer, kept everything clean, on time and works great. Make sure to get the wireless thermostat.

Quite expensive! Had Fischer Plumbing check kitchen faucet for leak under sink. Because the entire unit will be replaced in an upcoming renovation, the repair consisted of just tightening the existing nut for the leaking hot water control. It still leaks, so I turn on the hot water control only when I need to wash dishes. Service call = $75. Labor (less than 15 actual minutes) = $90 !!!! TOTAL COST with tax = $181.67 !!!! Fischer Plumbing is a reputable plumbing company, but it seems they need to review their pricing policies. The cost of my faucet "repair" really does NOT merit such a high bill. The one-star rating reflects Fischer Plumbing's exorbitant bill for the actual work rendered.

I have used them for so long, so I don't have anything to compare the price on. When they finished, they didn't leave anything around. They cleaned up very well.

They showed up early with a call 1st to let me know. Explained what they were going to do, made recommendations for stopping this from happening again and unclogged the toilet.

FANTASTIC!! When the engineer came out (Steve), he quickly ascertained what the issue was. I asked if he could also service the furnace and in doing so, he discovered two other issues, which were quickly rectified.

Richard came in and took a look at the situation, the installed a new toilet flange by screwing it into the wood subflooring, installed the toilet bolts, then installed the bowl. He did a great job. The problems: 1) I had to wait more than a week for my appointment. 2) Fischer's rates are ridiculous. $75 trip charge, then charged me for 45 minutes for the service call and $45 for parts that included a flange (I found the exact same thing at Home Depot for $9), 6 stainless steel screws, and two toilet bolts. That's quite a markup! 3) I called the company no fewer than 6 times to try and get clarification and/or a correction on the bill. The first person (Sherry) couldn't do anything but read the bill back to me. Not very helpful, as I'm been reading for 60 years. She told me I would be getting a call from the GM. He never called back, so I called Sherry back AGAIN to get his name and call him myself. 4) FINALLY, I got ahold of Terry, who would not work with me at all when I brought my dissatisfaction to his attention, saying that everything was charged correctly. Personally, I think that my multiple attempts to have the bill explained/corrected should have, AT LEAST, resulted in a 10% reduction in my bill. Sadly that did not happen. I was overcharged, and they know it. Go find someone else to do your light plumbing work...these people act like they're doing you a favor to even take your phone call.

Replaced main water line. Big job. Had to drill and insert a line that ran from the street to underneath my house. They did it quickly and were professional every step of the way. I'm very happy with the result.

The service was prompt, technician was knowledgeable, and the price was very reasonable. We Will call again. A good overall experience.

I've used them for years for my plumbing problems. The job six months ago cost me over $1000. I like them. They come when they say they're going to come. They're efficient and they're good. They fix the problem. I've been very happy with the service they have provided me. Their prices are high.

They were great. Their price was not alarming, it was reasonable.

EPIC DISASTER! AVOID. I am an engineer and could have done the work but I was too busy. The two young kids that came had no idea how to run a gas line! The estimate climb over $1000 right away after quoting $300-$500. They had no idea how to route the pipe without a crawl space, even though they were told in advance there was no crawl space. What was completed was not the agreed upon routing and now I have gas lines going everywhere on the outside of my house. The purpose was to install a gas range and they didnt even get the gas line in the right place for the range! After 6 weeks I finally got a phone call about the bill scolding me for not paying and I explained not only had I not got a bill yet that i need them to come fix their work. 2 weeks go by and I finally get a bill, but not the call back I was promised. 7 calls later I have still not got anything fixed. Worst customer service ever.

Richard, from Fischer came out and fixed our leaking toilets. Took less than an hour for him to replace two flappers and a fill valve. Very professional and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them.

We've had them for other minor plumbing issues in the past and they have always been good. They are reliable and reasonable. They probably aren't the cheapest you will find, but often times the cheapest you can find isn't the best! Every time they do work for us, it's done right the first time.

The whole process went well from the estimator, to the water main replacement team, to the guys working on the interior plumbing. The work was done quickly and cleanly. Great all-around experience.

Arrived on time and glve estimate and then came back to complete the work. Helpful, resovled the problem and cleaned up :)

It is just something we do every year because we have trees, so they run the lines every year. Maintenance is what it is. They're a good company. I like them. Their price is average.

These people can not be trusted. Fischer Plumbing is a complete scam. Our upstairs bathroom toilet wouldn't flush at times. They came out and fiddled with it for about 15mins and slapped me with a bill for $158. He could've told me the screw is loose: you can screw it in yourself or have me do it for $158?

Fischer plumbing and Don ...... Are by far the most professional and honest plumbers in Seattle.We were selling our house ,and in the inspection the buyer discovered a crack in the pipes connecting to our house,located in the street.Six plumbing companies checked it (and gave us their bids )before Don arrived and told us this crack was not in our responsibility but the city of Seattle.He find out that the city did a major job in this street,replacing the main sewer and part of the side sewer.The crack was in the side sewer that they touched.Fischer plumbing were also very professional doing a smaller job which we needed to cover ourselves.During the whole process Don was always accessible and helpful.His offer for the job was very competitive and reasonable.This turned out to a huge project.The city of Seattle covered his bill to the last cent.Don is our hero!

The estimator was very punctual and courteous but the price was much higher than competitors. It took a while to get the quote from him... 3 days and I had to call twice to request it. With that said, I would still consider them for a job in the future.

I felt they were much honest. They're very thorough, professional and answered my questions. Their price is reasonable too.

They were exceptionally quick, courteous, and clean. Helped me by focusing on the least expensive ways to address the problem first. When that didn't work, they explained why we needed to try the other route and what it would cost beforehand. Promptly resolved it. I was VERY impressed with their approach to doing business and will use them again.
