 + -1 moreI think they are knowledgeable specifically in troubleshooting, there was no sales pressure, it was just they did what we asked for efficiently, particularly with the security system, and they came over immediately because they knew that was important for us.

 + -1 moreBrad instilled the greatest confidence of the bids received and definitely showed his expertise in his completion of the work assigned. Besides, finishing the work bid, he gave us great practical advise, answering my questions in great detail, and added extra finishing touches to the project that showed his care and professionalism. He also dissuaded us from additional work we inquired about, which as a big help, but also showed his ethics.
Description of Work: Installed grounding electrode system, using ground rods.

Description of Work: Brad came in and fixed a wire that was cut during a re-roofing. The wire was tricky to find and a for him easy to fix. I would definitely recommend Brad. He is booked out a ways so book early.

 + -1 moreThe work was done very well. Brad is an interesting and quite talkative guy, but always thinking and working. He figured out many oddities to our wiring including how to properly fix some additions and modifications that were made in an unsafe manner. He was resourceful in fixing some electric boxes in place that were simply floating in the wallspace. Overall, I was impressed with his knowledge, experience, and ingenuity in the face of very non-standard situations. I followed my 2 year old who followed Brad around all day for the few days of work it took. Brad was excellent with our child, even teaching him about electricity and giving him some tools to play with. I would even recommend Brad as a babysitter!
Description of Work: Our recently-purchased home was built in 1973. As such, it features unsafe aluminum wiring. We hired Brad Leff to fix all aluminum connections. Complete rewiring was not required. We also installed overhead lighting in some rooms that had only wall sconces.

Description of Work: My wife and I hired Brad of Expert Electric to rewire our electrical for an upstairs remodel. In addition, Brad ran a new 200 AMP service to our house, added two sub-panels, and rewired the majority of old knob & tube in our basement. We found Brad via the West Seattle Blog because we were acting as our own general contractor and found Brad to be great to deal with as a homeowner, relatively new to remodeling. Brad provided knowledge and expertise, allowed us to give input and run the job how we wanted, and even to provide our own materials and only pay for his labor. In general we found Brad to be very accommodating (he was even willing to fix a manufacturers defect in a recessed can after installation at no charge). We also very much appreciated the fact that he was willing to think through our lighting plan with us and provide his knowledge of proper lighting techniques and what would look good in our particular space.
