Overall experience with Evergreen was excellent - John was efficient in going through the house and giving us a bid and also explaining the options. Very responsive to questions by email. The bid was competitive to other bids we got and more transperant. The crew itself was very efficient and had to come up with some slightly modified plans to get the work done and explained and got permission for each step and they also finished well before time and gave us a tour. Awesome experience - highly recommended

We had a great experience with Evergreen Home Heating and Energy. Scott came to our house to measure and figure out best placement for our units. He was really great at answering any and all questions that we had. The crew that came out for installation were really professional and worked through everything with me and my husband. I would highly recommend Evergreen to anyone looking for their home heating and cooling needs.

Description of Work: Last year I found Evergreen Heating on Angie's List for my landlord who decided to have a new furnace installed in my apartment. She was so impressed and pleased with Evergreen that she called them again to come out this year for routine winter servicing for both my furnace as well as the one in her house too!

Description of Work: They worked on our heat pum and "fixed" it. And then it went out again a month later and we had a different company come. And it has worked ever since. The guy at Evergreen didn't seem to know much.

Description of Work: I have used Evergreen Furnace for the last couple of years to get my heater and A/C serviced. My furnace finally went out so I had them install a high efficiency furnace and it now works great. From dispatch to the service techs I have not had 1 bad experience with Evergreen. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Got a new furnace and relocated it to the crawl space. Everyone was very professional and punctual. The gas line initially didn't pass inspection dud to new testing requirements, but evergreen worked out the issue with the city quickly. Overall it was a good experience.

Description of Work: I asked Evergreen for an estimate on a heat pump heating and cooling system for my house; they were very responsive and very competitive. I talked to multiple firms and investigating pricing as well as system sizing and construction techniques. The sales associate was not pushy and was very honest. I preferred them overall. IN then end, I had to postpone my work.

Description of Work: I purchased a Daikin heat pump/air conditioner with a $1500. rebate from City Light. Without the rebate my cost would have been $5000.00 - still worth the money. The unit is extremely quiet and efficient - drastically lowering my electricity bills. My home is all electric so the impact was huge - so far have saved about half on my usual charges. The staff is highly skilled, arrives on time and always ready to go that extra mile if you need help.

Description of Work: I thought something was wrong with my furnace since the air filter lights weren't on. The technician Bryant came out and serviced the gas furnace; made adjustments to gas pressure, cleared a "clogged condensate p-trap" (whatever that means!). He patiently explained answers to all my questions about furnace operation and recommended which air filters to use.

Description of Work: They get the job done. But the billing department and follow up is really bad. They mischarged our bill. We paid in full, then a few months later they said that they mischarged us by about $150 and we need to pay them then. To me as a consumer that is confusing. They quoted us before, and when we settled the bill for what was quoted. What's the deal with the surprise charges here?
