The service provided by this agency was exemplary....from the initial bid request to the end clean up. Eric kept his appointment to meet with me and discuss the scope/cost of the work to be performed. The techs that came to do the work had clear instructions and I did not have to reiterate any of my desires. They answered all of my questions clearly, with understanding of a concerned home owner. Their clean up process was perfect, no debris left in my yard, my neighbor's yards, or on the street. Hire this company

After a blustery weekend night we discovered one of our giant evergreens had dropped a branch on our 45' high roof and developed a split in another sizable limb. I had previously used another tree service, but Emerald returned my call first and sent someone by to provide an estimate within a couple of hours. The estimate was lower than I expected based on my previous experience with the other company. Because of the widespread damage from the storm they were not able to get to my job until the end of the workweek but they verified there was no visible damage to my roof. The crew arrived precisely on time and put up rigging quickly. They removed the damaged limbs and did additional trimming to further remove branches nearest the roof. When done they did an excellent job tidying up, leaving my driveway far cleaner than when they arrived. I was very pleased with the results. They will be my "go to" service when future needs arise.

All aspects of the job were completed on time, carefully and with professionalism. The crew were respectful of our neighbors' need to access the alley. Our Douglas Fir pruning of dead wood and limbing was challenging given the height of the tree but this job too was also done well. We thought we needed to cable the Fir on top but after an "in tree" evaluation, this was deemed unnecessary saving us hundreds of dollars. We would definitely hire this company again.

Mostly OK. They could have done a better job by not dragging the braches through the gravel instead of carrying these to the truck. I understand that is hard since there were a lot of branches and were heavy. Our regular yard guy had to spend a couple of hours to take care of the gravel dispersion.

I was extremely happy with Emerald tree service. The employee that ground the stumps was very thoughtful and thorough. He even stayed a little later to pull as many roots out of the ground as he could. The service was very efficient and make sure they did not to stop traffic patterns on a busy street. They made a point to stay until the mulch was spread and the work area was cleaned up. I highly recommend them.

Great crew of 2 completed the work quickly and professionally. They even cut a hole in the tree for birds to use.

I had a tree that had been damaged in a snow storm. I needed someone to come by and advise me on what to do with it. I was charged for a service call. Just one guy came and spent less than an hour. He suggested I reinforce the tree. The promotion price was the primary reason I used them. The response was good, he was very punctual and very professional and very knowledgeable.

Its a big deal these things were like 20 ft tall.They were chopping and trimming the side branches. They were another reason to take down the trees, because they were starting to push out against a retaining wall. Also compromising a water line draining.

We have been using them for years. The same company for years has been trimming them. Well they are definitely competitive. The quality of the work makes it worth it.Before we were just using the owner but now he has gotten bigger. He pays close attention and he knows his business. He came out and reviewed it afterwards. They were coming regularly to trim. Great clean up. I've known them for a long time. I've used them for the last 15 years.

It was great! One person came, finished, and cleaned after the twigs within 2.5 hours. We are very satisfied with the work performed.

During the initial estimate, the guy explained the tree and the health of it. He took it on himself to gain permission and access from my neighbor, who actually owns the tree. He made me feel good about their ability to do the job, but their understanding of tree health as well. The day of the work, the crew showed up early. They were able to attend to the tree without damage to any other trees or structures. They actually left my backyard in better looking shape than it was in when they arrived. They were very professional and personable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs tree service.

The tree service went very well and according to the plan they laid out for me. The price was exactly what they estimated. My only complaint is that they appear to have lost my check, and I later had to pay a "stop payment" fee and send them another check.

The wet snowfall of February 2017 in Seattle, caused our medium sized Magnolia tree to drop a bunch of heavy limbs due to the weight of the snow. Other limbs near the tree top collapsed and were tangled in the power lines to our home. Yikes! I considered having the tree removed, but I am glad that I had it trimmed and cleaned up, instead. It looks amazing now, and it is totally clear of the power lines. Silly power lines.

Eric knows his stuff. I know nothing about plants and trees. He gave me advice and a free estimate. Other arborists expected me to tell them what I wanted to prune. I had no idea what needed care. Eric was professional and helpful.

From the initial contact for a quote to the final job, Eric was professional and quick to respond. His team did exactly what was listed in the quote and were finished quickly. We were not present for the actual work, but other than our great looking trees, you would not know that anyone had been there. They cleaned up every little leaf and twig and put everything back where it had been. The price was about 15% higher than other quotes we received, but it was worth it for a hassle-free experience.

I called the office before the workmen arrived. It was raining and the wind was blowing. I was concerned about safety and willing to reschedule for better weather. Three workmen arrived, Travis, Joey, and Camille, within the time specified for the appointment. They determined that the weather did not pose a danger and proceeded to take the tree down. They were respectful of the neighbor's carport, driveway, and our property. The tree was taken down promptly eventhough it was raining. Debris was neatly consolidated, the wood chips swept together, and the tree stump ground down. They were cheerful, respectful of our wishes, and professional. We could not be happier with the job. We will recommend this firm to any and all who inquire.

Fine, except trimming parking strip trees requires a permit ($) from the city...

We had three bids, and Emerald came in the lowest by several hundred dollars. The crew was punctual, professional, courteous and cleaned up thoroughly.
