Description of Work: I called Emerald City to get info on cleaning my new $1000 6' wool area rug. They told me that because the rug was made in India (it was actually made in China) and has a fiber backing instead of latex that it is a disposable rug and cannot be cleaned!! ??

+ -1 moreWhen he examined the rug, he said some spots would not clean up to brand new and some of the color was faded due to sunlight.When he returned the rug he laid it down and it looked clean. Some spots as he mentioned did fade but did not come out completly. I was very happy with the outcome. What I would do over again is too have the rug cleaned on a regular basis.
Description of Work: We have a large thick oriental carpet that needed to be cleaned. I made an appointment and he showed up on time, looked at the rug and said he can clean it. He took the rug with him, had it cleaned and called a week later to say it was done, We set an appt. to deliver, and again he was on time. Service was excellent

Description of Work: Cleaned our 6 x 9 foot area rug, front and back. It was a very dirty white shag wool rug. All of the dirt was removed from the base of the shag. Better results than I hoped for.

+ -1 moreThe owner was wonderful. He picked up and delivered the rugs. He even helped me move some of my furniture which was definitely above and beyond. Very happy with the service and would most definitely use again.
