Their fees are extremely high and NOT fix the problem at the 1st visit. They charged over $1000 for a problem of flickering lights in my condo. The electrician did not fix the problem at the 1st visit. He came back to fix it. They charged both visits ($330 each). PLUS $300 for project manager fee! Below are their charges: "First visit June 1st: Service call for flickering lights in unit - there was a half hour of travel time to the job, 2.5 hrs onsite opening light switches/outlets/light fixtures trying to diagnose the problem. Including travel time there was a total of 3 hours for June 1st. 3 hrs @ Journeyman Rate of $110 = $330 Second visit June 12th: 3 hrs @ journeyman rate $110 = $330 $300 - Project Manager 2 hours@ $150/hr (The Project manager determines manpower required for scope of job; schedules the job; assists with troubleshooting issues; oversees billing) $ 25 - Admin Fee 15 minutes @$100/hr (Administration handles intake call and invoice prep and processing) $985 Total labor cost $99.49 Sales Tax $1084.49 Total

Elmecco does a good job. They're expert electricians who work generally efficiently and charge a fair price. They can be hard to get on the phone and arrange things with, but after that initial hurdle the work goes well.

They have been very good. They have been very knowledgeable, very helpful, very positive and very responsive. We've used them on 3 occasions in the last 12-18 months for various relatively complicated things. They have fixed things that other contractors screwed up. They worked with some very old wiring at another property and they were very knowledgeable about that. Their prices are reasonable.

I liked them because they were local and I think I got them off the list actually. They were able to come over pretty quickly and overall it was a good experience. The price was more than I wanted to pay, but was about what I thought it would be. I think that they were on time. I will use them again and as a matter of fact I am thinking of calling them.

Lee was able to schedule the estimate soon after I called. When I decided to use Elmecco, we did a detailed walk-through of my old, 1902 home. He gave good advice and scheduled the work to start about a week later. The pair he sent out were friendly, experienced, and responsive. This job got bigger as we got deeper into the possibilities and we asked for more work than originally planned. That was not a problem for Elmecco. About half-way into the job, we realized we needed to hire someone to install a cabinet and the OTR microwave we purchased - we ran out of time and energy to do it ourselves. Lee referred us to a local construction company, a great referral - we got what we wanted. I would definitely recommend Elmecco. They have very high integrity and responsiveness as well as they do a great job.

He spoke well. He did exactly what he said he would do. He was very approachable.

They were very prompt. The electrician they sent out was very knowledgeable. Something I thought would cost a lot to repair was fixed for cheap in about an hour. He gave me great tips and suggestions.

Everything was done satisfactorily. In one case, the electricians found a better solution to one problem than I had proposed. After the first day's work (a Friday), I asked that an exterior outlet cover be replaced with a different type. The electrician said he'd do it the next time (Monday). I forgot to mention it again and after they left on Monday, I kind of expected that this had been overlooked, but on checking, saw that it had indeed been changed as I had requested.

Wow! Great service! I called on Tuesday, Lee came out on Wednesday, exactly on time and had the problem diagnosed and repaired in less than an hour for the quoted rate of $110 for the 1st 1/2 hour. It was a simple corroded and loose connection in one of the switch boxes. He cleaned it up, re hooked the connection and everything was back in working order, all the while explaining the situation quite clearly.

Friendly and effective workers. Did a great job and left things clean.

BEFORE THE WORK WAS DONE THE LEAD ESTIMATOR MADE A VERY THOROUGH PLAN FOR THE WORK AND DISCUSSED ALL THE OPTIONS. THE WORKERS WERE VERY COURTEOUS. THE WORK WAS PERFORMED EFFECTIVELY AND IN A TIMELY MANNER.
