If Pam or her business reaches out to us and attempts to address the outstanding issues we will consider revising our review. As of this review we have not heard back from her or her assistant for 2+ weeks. We were referred to Pam by our real estate agent. We thought the pricing was a bit high for merely staging a condo but we were assured it would look amazing. The final staging was fairly good, however, notable was some furniture with large stains as well as malfunctioning lighting that we were told initially by the staging team only needed a new lightbulb. We found out later after buying our own bulbs the lamp was completely defective. We contacted them and requested immediate action on these issues, and their resolution was to replace the lamp but only cover the stained furniture with a blanket. As we were under serious time constraints with a photography appointment we had no choice but to agree. Come the day of the photography appointment my realtor messaged me that the stagers never showed up to fix anything and the photographer would have to work around the defects. Frustrated, I sent off a message to the stagers explaining what had happened and asking what was going on and thereafter I was informed that they did show up at the last split second and fix things in time for the photography appointment. This was not a pleasant customer service experience and could have easily harmed our sale. Our condo took 60 days to sell in the slowing market and the rental rate on the staging was fairly high considering the issues we had already had. When scheduling the de-staging appointment I called ahead of time to verify when the stagers would be arriving. They could not give me an exact time however they assured me it would be in the early afternoon and that they would be coming from 30 to 45 minutes away and would text me when they were leaving. This was crucial for my work schedule as I needed that lead time to be able to be there to let them in. Fast forward to the day of de-staging and I get a text message from the removal crew--in the morning--not the afternoon, that they are at my property. No warning, no lead time. I messaged them back that the previous day their company had promised me a 30 to 45 minute warning based on travel time from their origination location. Their response was to say we didn't hear anything about that and does today still work for you? This was an implied threat that they would leave and come back some other time which had all kinds of schedule and potential cost implications. I scrambled to run over to the location and let them in. Over two weeks ago I sent an email to the company owner, and to the administrator who had made me the promise about being contacted and about the timeline. I have not gotten any response. For the large expense of this company I expected impeccable customer service. Instead I got hassles, last minute fiascoes on MULTIPLE occasions and excuse after excuse. I am not pleased and will not be recommending this business to anyone and will be documenting this experience across the net. If the business contacts me and attempts to make this right I will update this review.

Description of Work: Pam and her team responded quickly to my request as I was on a tight timeline to have my townhome ready for pictures and on the market. I was impressed with how nicely their furnishings went with the colors I had already established. They were very responsive throughout. My property sold in a week, and I got many positive comments on the warmth of the house. There is no doubt in my mind that the Ellis team and their design choices contributed to my fast and successful sale. Oh, and I gave her two days notice to get their stuff out and of course they got it done....Thanks Pam!

Couldn't have gone smoother. Consultation and preparation, and then a full staging. I'm sure I got many many times more back than the staging cost when my home ended up selling for $25K over my asking price... Thank you to Pam, Nate and crew!!

Her price was outstanding, considerably lower than I had expected and half the price of the other stager we got an estimate from. She made good use of the items we already had, was punctual and flexible, and very friendly and easy to deal with.

I am a very busy Reator and regularly call on Pam Ellis and her team to make my house listings sparkle. Her work makes the photos look amazing and I am confident that my sellers get better pricing on their homes because of Pam's work. Pam is friendly, reliable, and makes sure everyone is happy with the installation. She is respectful of the owner's home and their belongings. I highly recommend Pam.

Pamela Ellis has an artistic flair and an understanding of taste, color, design, layout, and furniture placement that is simply superb. We were still living in our home although it had been de-cluttered as part of the process to get it ready for sale. Pamela started by rearranging our living room furniture, she just walked in and we all started moving things around. It made a huge difference. She visualized solutions we never considered -- and they worked beautifully! She used some of our artwork, but she also blended that with lots of flowers, vases, prints, a rug, and articles she brought in. It was just the right blend, a great color scene, and it made the house look significantly better than before. It really brought the various rooms out, displayed potentials and possibilities in a way we never could have conceived. This is a service we highly recommend and Pamela truly has vision and the artist's touch. It was a very positive experience working with her. She worked with our schedule and was extremely responsive and professional in her manner.
Description of Work: Staging of our two-level home as part of the prep to place our home on the market. The staging was kept in place through three open houses until the time we had the house pending sale and under contract.

We needed help with furniture placement and decorating and had struggled for months! I found Pam Ellis's business and number from Angie's List. I called her, she was available and willing to help. She was amazing. Very talented and skilled in interior design. She came up with a simple redesign plan, hanging pictures, moving furniture, and was very efficient and great to work with. It was well worth the investment. We love the results and it inspired us to do more. Would recommend her to anyone in need of staging a home or help with interior decorating. We plan to have her back when we're ready for other rooms. She also brings her own staging items to give you a visual of ideas being proposed.

This was a very smooth transaction. Pam is friendly, professional and prompt. She showed up on time when she said she would be there and was creative and knowledgeable. She did a great job and staged beautifully.
Description of Work: I have only great things to say about Pam and Ellis Design. She put a lot of thought and time into how to arrange the furniture, what accents to add, and with a few additions, she transformed our ordinary rooms into a beautiful showcase. We were really surprised at the difference. We had people walking through at our open house saying wow... or beautiful... and I know it had everything to do with her great work. We highly recommend her for staging or help with your home. She is a wonderful.
