Eco-side LLC - Siding Made Easy

I hired EcoSide Seattle to replace a number of siding shingles on my 1903 house in North Beacon Hill as part of preparation for exterior painting later this summer. Their customer service was superb. Alexandro was immediately responsive, and remained so throughout the entire experience; his communications were clear; his estimate was fair; he showed up exactly as planned. On the job, Manuel's work was detailed and thorough, and it was very seamless having him here. I've got an old house with old shingled siding, and I'm so glad I found Alexandro and EcoSide - it's a huge comfort to have the right team for the different old-house needs that arise. Alejandro was great to work with, and he and his team did a great job. They ran into some unforeseen issues with the two layers of old siding and with the studs, but stuck close to the estimate in spite of the extra work. Would definitely recommend hiring them.

Alejandro and his team are awesome, very high quality and very responsible people! They had to deal with some inconveniences at our house with both another contractor being there at the same time and also with our hvac system that needed to be worked around. They did a wonderful job replacing our siding and painting and the house looks so pretty and we love it! ECOSIDE did an A++ job for us and it started with the estimate, the most helpful and detailed we’d received. It also turned out to be substantially below the other three estimates we got and it also proved to be correct, down to the penny. The work (residing our garage and replacing some rotten timbers) was beautifully done and finished ahead of schedule. Although there were never more than two men working over the two days, they even pulled up their own portable toilet. The clean-up around the garage was immaculate. All in all, we couldn’t have been more pleased!

Ecoside is a fantastic value and excellent craftsmanship. I have already asked form bids for other projects.

This was the second time we called back Alejandro to complete a siding project for the house. He was quick, professional, and did an overall great job with the cedar shingles, trim, and cedar trim boards that were weathering away. Will be using again in the future!

Ecoside had already done some work in our neighborhood, so I'd already seen the results and how they work, and they came recommended by our neighbors. They did a great job on a large project during difficult weather and the Covid situation. Communication was great and the results are wonderful.

Alejandro Vedia, the head of the company, is a pleasure to work with. He gave us a fair quote (the lowest quote among four bidders) for the work to be done on our 110-year-old house and a time frame and he stuck to it. The work he did was meticulous and precise, and the new siding (with a double-coat paint job) looks amazing. We couldn't recommend him more highly!

Alejandro and his crew did an outstanding job residing part of our house. They ripped the siding boards so they would match the original cedar sidings exposure. They showed up on time every day and cleaned the work area each day before going home. The job was done on schedule and for the quoted amount. I have recommended them to several friends who have all had similar experiences. You can't go wrong with Alejandro and his crew.

Alejandro met with me and listened to what I wanted. Another siding company suggested going with Hardie shingles. Alejandro pointed out that they did not come in the same height and wouldn't match on the corners. He also did some investigating and found that our sheathing was too thin to bear the weight and large screws needed for the hardie shingles. We went with pre-primed cedar shingles to match existing shingles and it looks beautiful! He and his team are extremely detail-oriented and they did exactly what he said they would do. They took time to prepare the surface underneath the shingles and put a quality barrier down. We couldn't be happier with the result and I am confident we won't have any issues with this side of the house for a very long time. Hire Eco-side! You won't be disappointed.

We were very happy that we chose Eco-side to repair and paint the exterior of our house. Alejandro was very professional and great to work with. After we initially contacted him, he was very prompt returning our call and then coming to meet with us. The siding, trim, and outside corners on our house were damaged and Alejandro suggested a specific repair plan that we liked. He then provided an estimate to do the job which listed each task and its cost. Alejandro worked with us to schedule the job and kept to that schedule. The work by Alejandro and his small crew on our house was excellent! The project turned out just as we expected based on our initial meeting with Alejandro and his pre-project proposal.

Alejandro was prompt with the estimate and started the work when he said he would. His crew was very friendly and easy to work with. They tended to all of my concerns and also provided guidance on what I could do to ensure my siding stays good for a while. The price was excellent for all the work they did.

We were scheduled for 1.5 to 2 months out, during the very busy season this summer. Much to our pleasant surprise Alejandro contacted us to let us know the work could be done within a few weeks of our contracting him. Not only did they complete the work on an earlier date, the work was completed within 2 days. Excellent work. Alejandro was very on top of the employee and was at the ready if needed. He personally inspected the site before, during and after. He made sure that the site was left cleaner than what he found. Yes, we are ready to rehire him on other projects.

Our home is a small 1920s craftsman's house with its own idiosyncrasies. Alejandro and his crew were attentive to all our needs and wants. I can only say good things about their work and demeanor. They were always on time, courteous and maintained us informed (requesting our approval when needed) throughout the process. They offered their own insights and opinions when we needed some advice. As a result, the house looks beautiful. What stuck with us was the care and thought they put into their work. Never rushing things! We are extremely pleased with the job.

Done on time with no issues. Alejandro responded quickly to my questions and made recommendations I felt I could trust. I spoke to several siding companies before going with ECO-side and I am glad I did. I don't normally leave reviews but I am in this case because doing business with eco-side was so trouble free and I hope this helps more people connect with them.

An update to an already stellar review. I couldn't be more pleased with the amazing work and responsiveness that Alejandro and team demonstrated again. 1.5 years ago, they did the best work imaginable. As we finished the rest of our renovation, they came back...as they said they would...and finished up the job perfectly. I don't typically recommend anyone, but I tell everyone that asks about Eco-side. Best contractor I've worked with.
