We specialize in late 19th-century and early 20th-century Northwest paintings and prints, Native American Indian art, vintage photography (particularly the work of Edward S. Curtis and orotone/goldtone photography), and Arts & Crafts period art and antiques. Whether you are seeking an appraisal for insurance coverage, resale/sale purposes, or insurance loss/damage claims, DUWAMPS FINE ART & ANTIQUE APPRAISALS provides you with quality fine art and antique appraisal reports that conform to both the currentInternational Society of Appraisers (ISA) Report Writing Standards and the current Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice(USPAP) as developed and overseen by the Congressionally authorized Appraisal Foundation. We also provide ART AND ANTIQUE RESEARCH & ANALYSIS SERVICES - including biographic history and contextual analysis, bibliographic documents and facilitation in authenticity research - and CURATION services for research, development and designing exhibitions. CHRISTY HANSEN has successfully completed the International Society of Appraisers' (ISA) Core Course in Appraisal Studies, and received her B.A. in Art History and B.F.A. in Painting & Drawing from the University of Washington in 2008 and her M.A. in Museology (Museum Studies) from the University of Washington in 2011. She has conducted extensive research and cataloged Northwest artwork, Northwest Coast Native American art and vintage photography for the Seattle Art Museum, Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture, the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services, and the University of Washington Libraries Special Collections Division. Christy's passion and enthusiasm for Northwest art, Native Americana and vintage photography has led her to develop many connections and friendships with the most preeminent dealers and serious collectors within the region.
