We cannot recommend Larry and his various teams enough. This was a wonderful job, very thoroughly executed with highest professionalism. Everything was beautifully done on time and within budget. These people went the extra mile, when unforeseen complications arose. Larry is a wonderful advisor on paint types and also on color selection and combination. Several neighbors stopped by, stating that they had never seen the house present itself so nicely, and asked for the name and number of the company, which we happily shared. We wished more contractors would take their work this seriously and had this capability while staying within reasonable pricing schemes. Larry himself is sort of a quirky character with a great sense of humor and always a whimsical smile on his face. He regularly checked the progress of the project and kept us informed on every step along the way. When he took pictures of the completed job, one could see how proud he was himself about this achievement. Rightly so!

They were extremely professional. Engaged my tenants in a friendly manner. Eager to do the job right the first time but happy to make a change or two if asked. They had lots of good ideas on how to make the old building look her very best. They worked their magic with slight variations in the colors used to help bring out the building ornate plaster work. I strongly recommend this company. The quality of their work was exceptional.

Fabulous! Our house looks terrific and we are getting many compliments on it, especially our door color - a vibrant plum/purple! Sometimes difficult to get a response during their very busy summer months, but once we set a commencement date they were always there when they said they would be and on time. Painting crew of two men were very professional and meticulous and showed great patience with our hooligan dogs. Price was a little heftier than I would have liked, but it was due to the need to inspect and seal the LP Siding. We are happy that that issue is dealt with. Will absolutely use this company again in the future!

We moved our retail store from one location to another smaller space and the DP Palmer crew handled the breakdown of wall systems in the old store, repair and painting of that space to it's original condition. They handled the move and reconstruction of wall systems, carpentry to retro-fit the system to our new, smaller space and completely primed and painted the walls and ceiling in our new, beautiful store. The crew was great to work with... usually ready and waiting when we arrived each morning, courteous and efficient throughout the job...always willing to go "above and beyond" whatever we asked of any of the crew. They were professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with...we recommend them without hesitation!

This is the first time Larry Palmer and company have worked at this condo building and hopefully not the last. They were very thorough in scoping the project and explaining to the HOA board exactly how they would proceed. The entire crew was very cordial and respectful of all the owners. They were very conscientious about maintaining security around the building and cleaning up at the end of each day. Gary Volk, the foreman, was exceptional in providing color consultation and samples. They used four different colors for the entire project and it?s truly an eye popper! To quote a written statement by Larry, they ?turned bland into grand.? In addition to the exceptional work ethic of D. P. Palmer Painting & Restoration, the HOA board appreciated the financial option Larry worked out with us. We would definitely recommend his company.

This is not the first time we've used Larry Palmer, and once again we are extremely happy with the work and with the experience. My wife and I typically think of the things we want done at the last minute, and then want them done right away. Larry is always happy to comply. With this job, we felt an extra sense of urgency as we were making a contingent offer on another house and wanted to be sure the job was done in time if we needed to put our place on the market. He came out the day we talked to do a walk through of the jobs we wanted done and got things started the same day. He had four workers on the job working long days. Some of the aspects of this job really required a lot of work - but his crew knocked it out in 2 days and it looks beautiful. The time before this we needed trim of our house repainted as well as the cement side wall the stairs and wooden railings. He also fixed a wobbly handrail. All done quickly and beautifully. The first time we used him, he fixed our nursery. When we moved into our house, the room had a mural on our four walls with paintings of animals and aliens on rolling green hills in different kinds of paint and the ceiling was a blue that made the room feel really small. He knew all the right undercoatings to use to the end job looked smooth and uniform without even a hint of the previous scene. Every job we've done with Larry has been high quality work done quickly for a reasonable price. His workers are always prompt, courteous and leave things neat and tidy when they leave for the day. We would never use anyone else.

The crew that Larry Palmer used to paint our house was exceptional in being courteous and in wanting to get the job done right. When we asked if something could be redone, it was happily done without questions. They even vacuumed up the prep work debris that fell in and around the flower beds. There was always a good clean up before they left at the end of the day. Which rarely happened, if at all, with any of the other contractors that I used in the past. I have used over 15 contractors over the years and the biggest pain I had was trying to get a hold of the contractor in a timely manner. Larry Palmer is the first contractor I have ever used where I did not have to leave a message in the 6 to 8 times that I called him throughout the project. Of course there is the luck of catching him at the right time. But as for a comparison, with the other 3 contractors I called for bids on this job, I had to leave 8 messages, 5 of them were repeats for not being called back within 24 hours. Larry Palmer went out of his way to make sure any question or concern we had was quickly answered and he made well use of the phone, email, and text messaging to keep us informed.

This is just the latest project that Larry and his team have done for me. He has painted two different houses for me as well a took over and finished a major remodeling project. Larry has also completed a # of projects for other friends of mine. In every instance the results have been exceptional! By way of example, how often do you have a contractor that calls you more than you call them?

We are thrilled with the job that DP Palmer Painting & Restoration did on our home! Our house badly needed painting, and also needed a lot of TLC after providing shelter for our four kids and lots of their friends over the years. Larry Palmer?s estimate was the most detailed one we got, and he was the only one who suggested taking care of the many small repairs needed while having our house painted. His quote was competitive and fair, and his highly skilled and professional crew spent a great deal of time working hard, efficiently completing every item on our long task list. During the project Larry was easy to work with, and dropped by several times while his crew was working to make sure things were going along smoothly. If he didn?t physically come by, he called to check in and see if we had any questions or concerns. After the entire front porch was painted, we decided we didn?t care for the color, and early the next morning the porch was repainted, without ANY complaints from Larry or his crew. In addition, everything that Larry said that his crew would do was actually done ? we didn?t see any attempts to skip steps or to do less than what was promised (we were home during most of the project, and so were able to observe closely). Larry genuinely wanted us to be happy with the results, while working to keep the project affordable for us. Two days after the project was completed, a friend came by who happens to own his own business as a general contractor, and he was extremely impressed with the quality of work, especially considering the total cost of the project. We have another project planned for the fall of 2014, and we are hoping to hire DP Palmer Painting & Restoration again. We couldn?t recommend them with more enthusiasm and satisfaction!

Complete Painting of all the ceilings with two coats as well as the trim around the windows, doors, baseboards and walls in the main body of the house. Rec. room, kitchen, dining rooms, bathrooms and entry way leading to the third level of the house was completed as well. Then they did a complete exterior paint job with three new colors which were expertly suggested by Larry Palmer who is the owner of the company. The also stripped off the old deck color and re-stained the deck in our backyard with a product which has a life span of 4 years with a written warranty. Crew were very professional and nice to have around. They touched up every thing I asked before they left and asked for the final payment. Larry was the most honest and responsive contractor I have ever worked with!

After nearly 6 months of searching and interviewing countless contractor and painting companies, my wife and I were blessed to find Larry Palmer of D.P Palmer restoration. We had just purchased our last home our "dream home." Finding a company and individual who had the same expectations and care in restoration was so very important. Mr Palmer did. This showed in his work and in the final result. A home, nearly 100 years old restored as if it were just built. Truly a dream for us. He and his crew meticulously removed the vinyl siding encapsulating nearly 100 years of paint and and grime. They scraped and stripped the entire home of the paint with great care. The craftsmanship of repairing the original clear cedar siding and portions of trim were top notch. They very extremely detailed. The health and welfare of our family was also important and the lead abatement was excellent. Two years following our home is still the pride of our life and neighborhood. As with any extensive painting project a few areas had bubbled from the siding the following year as one would expect with changes in our NW weather. As his word and craftsmanship were guaranteed, he returned promptly when informed and fixed the problem followed by a smile and handshake. A true gentleman. It is with tremendous respect and appreciation that I recommend D.P Palmer restoration in highest regard.

Larry and his crew did a wonderful job restoring the exterior of our home. They brought our weathered old house back to it's original grandeur. True craftsmen, their work is meticulous, with no detail overlooked. A stupendous restoration job, and with Larry's keen eye for color, a perfect paint job. A year later our home looks freshly done. We are likewise extremely pleased with the new porch that was built and the new patio that was installed with true craftsmanship and careful attention to design and construction.
