DJ came so highly recommended by Angie's List members that I felt I was in the presence of a rock star when he came to give me a bid to refinish my kitchen, living and dining room. He was timely, courteous, honest and informative about the process. I ended up going with another highly rated Angie's List provider only because DJ's schedule and mine did not quite line up.

I chose DJ hardwood floors based on his Angie's List rating and comments. He deserves those high marks. The whole project went smoothly from start to finish and the end the end product was beautiful. He went of his way to accommodate our vacation schedule. He was also very good at communicating cost, schedule, what to expect, what he needs from us, etc.

DJ was very easy to work with, very professional and friendly, respectful, and accommodating of our time. If he was running a few minutes late he would always call to let us know. His quote was very competitive. I've never done this type of project before so I have no real basis for comparison, and I'll have way more questions the next time! I would hire DJ again. I'm not able to give him an 'A' because to me an 'A' is outstanding and there are a few minor areas that I can't quite call that, although that may be me being nit-picky. Maybe my expectations are way off the mark! The couple of times I talked to him about my concerns he was very responsive and eager to make sure we were happy with the job, even altering his schedule to not put me off mine, and helping to set my mind at ease. Overall we are happy with the finished product.

We were extremely pleased with the work done and our experience with DJ. DJ was prompt, professional and extremely responsible, responsive and conscientious. He was a delight to work with. It was a pleasure to feel so confident in his work. He was attentive to detail in the work and willing to put in some extra effort to have us back in our home as soon as possible. I will highly recommend him to anyone needing this type of work.

We were extremely happy with the work. We needed help in a hurry! Pet urine stains on the floor & the odor does not go away. We knew it would be worse when the weather turned cold since the damaged part of the flooring was located directly in front of the heating vent. When I first called DJ, he wasn't sure he would be able to take the job because he had projects lined up for several weeks. However, I must have sounded desperate because he took pity on me and squeezed my job in among his other projects. DJ was worried that it would be difficult to match the new floor with the old floor because I was unwilling to spend the money to re-sand the entire floor (the floor in my daughter's room is covered with junk and rarely visible). As it turns out, I am thrilled with the finished product. DJ was able to blend the new and old flooring so well that I can't tell at all where the repair is. DJ was nice, responsive, did great work and was willing to work with me to stay within my budget.

D.J. was extremely responsive from bidding process to completion of work. He altered his schedule twice to meet our needs, always with a smile. The floor had a pastel stain which made the job even more difficult. He worked diligently on the floor to make it perfect. He continued to scrutinize the finished product and checked every inch to make sure it was perfect. He wants to make sure the customer is satisfied and happy with the end result. He is the ultimate in customer service. That is a rarity in today's world. He takes pride in his work and stands behind his work. I will definitely recommend him to anyone who wants quality work done.

Dennis's bid was in line with all other bids. When we decided to install new hardwood in an additional area he was extremely accommodating and worked diligently to accomplish the total job in the same time that we had planned for the original refinishing job. He arrived at the arranged time worked extremely hard. The job was finished in the time promised and the old floor was repaired and both floors blended very professionally. Someone coming into the house for the first time would not be able to identify where the existing ended and the new are began. The finished job met our expectations 100%. We would highly recommend him to anyone refinishing or installing hard wood floors.

DJ works hard. He is diligent and amiable. He made sure that we were satisfied with the end results.

DJ was very friendly and professional throughout the process. He explained each step of the process thoroughly, and answered all of my questions. He even went so far as to look into answering my eight-year-old son's question about how many decibels his big sander produced!

DJ is a hardworking guy who works by himself. He shows up when he says he will and does what he says he's going to do. The first time, the matching wasn't to our liking. He was accommodating and worked with us until we could get a close enough match. He's not only knowledgeable, but also able to translate it into what a homeowner can understand. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

DJ was a pleasure to work with & really pushed our house into the next $$ bracket when we put it on the market. Prompt, professional, & well-priced. Our floors had a lot of footwork & staining. Through DJ's knowledge of different hardwood techniques he was able to save our flooring, evolving it into beauty that none of our friends or family would believe used to be our old floors. If you are doing floors, look no more. DJ's is THE BEST, absolutely!

DJ was very good with his work and very careful with my house. He explained things very clear to me and very patient. He was very good in communicating to us. DJ was very open mind about saving us money if we could find the flooring at different locations. But it turned out the company he used saved us $1000 then any internet bidding. DJ is very professional and very friendly. His price was excellent. Highly recommend!!

DENNIS WAS AN EXCELLENT CHOICE. HE HAS A GREAT WORK ETHIC, EXTREMELY PLEASANT PERSONALITY AND HIS WORK LOOKS BEAUTIFUL. HE IS A ONE-MAN OPERATION WHICH REQUIRES MORE TIME THAN IF HE HAD A CREW BUT IT WAS WELL WORTH THE EXTRA TIME.
