 + -1 moreNathan Seney came to the house and did a thorough measurement of the deck area, sat down with us to hear what we wanted, and made some preliminary suggestions about how a design might fit our specifications. He then developed a preliminary design and came back to discuss it with us. Based on that discussion, he went back and completed the design, making changes based on our wishes. After he sent the design to us, he thought of a unique way to enclose the deck in screening and suggested that in addition. We loved it and went with it. When we contacted three contractors to bid on constructing the new deck, Nathan provided them with copies of the design and was readily available to answer any of their questions. He was thoughtful and thorough in every step of the process, timely, and considerate and patient with us in our decision making process. We would highly recommend this company!
Description of Work: The wood on our deck was rotting so we wanted to not only replace the wood but have a screened in deck with a roof that would let in light designed in its place. Nathan Seney from Dawson Clinton & Seney designed a deck that met all our specifications and beyond, including materials for the roof and screen siding that we would never have thought of. He provided us with the design plans and also provided the general contractors that we sought bids from with the design plans and consulted with them as needed about the design and the materials. He also provided an estimate of what the construction costs should reasonably be.
