Showed up on time, assessed the work and called me immediately to propose a game plan. Work was very good and turned out better than what I had originally asked them to do.

It was okay. They did a good job however they started trying to add on extra services. The owner made a lot of promises but didn’t follow through. The crew worked hard. Apparently we weren’t in their service area. The owner said that he’d still come out, but only when he had the time. I definitely feel like I overpaid.

They did a good job, getting the weeds out by hand instead of cutting down. Although the work was good and I'm very satisfied in the results, the cost was more than I would have liked. I purchased a "Big Deal" for four hours of labor for two people and it was double the hours. I knew this before they started, but my yard was getting out of hand and I needed to get it done. The two guys that did the work were very good, and I would recommend them.

After purchasing The Big Deal for yard maintenance, I called the service provider multiple times and left multiple voice mails and never heard back. It has been frustrating. I got a refund from Angie's List rather than trying to work with this vendor.

I wanted my experience with Angie's List to be easy. I felt sales pressure both in the vendor trying to have me purchase extra items and in wanting me to cancel the transaction with Angie's List and deal with the him independently. He let me know that Angie's List should not have scheduled him for Queen Anne without his consent. He also let me know it would be a few weeks until he had another job in the area before he could complete this job. HIs final words were; "if you don't hear from me in a few weeks, don't be afraid to give me a call." Definitely, not acceptable. Sincerely Dan and Angela

They worked really hard but weren’t very professional. They charged $40 per man hour, which I feel like is a professional price.

I hate giving bad reviews. Cutter's did not perform any work for me so I cannot speak to the quality of the work they do. I bought a deal for 6 man hours of yard work. A couple days later I was contacted to discuss the work and was told they'd be contacting me the night before they came. They said it'd be a week or two. 10 days later I emailed to ask how much longer they'd be. I let them know I was trying to decide if I should cut my grass if it was going to take a while more. I was concerned that if I did mow my yard and they called to come in the following 3 or 4 days I wouldn't have enough for them to do. I was told it would be 3 or 4 more days. 5 days later I still hadn't received a call. My yard was really starting to look bad at this point. I called and left a message again and 3 days later I still haven't received a call back. I've requested a refund for the deal and won't be using their services. Had they just told me it would be a month or more I would have continued to maintain my lawn or found another service. Unfortunately, after being told that it would be a week or two or a few more days I left my yard for them to do and now it's grown to the point my cheap lawn mower couldn't possibly get through it. Very disappointing experience considering all of the great reviews that they have.

Extremely responsive, very accommodating as to my time, sent a crew in right away, they cleaned up amazingly!! every last weed and leaf. I have beed using them now ever since my first encounter using a coupon and they have remained A quality since.

They did it in a professional manner. I couldn't have done it in the same way they did it.

All services were performed well and in accordance with our agreements.

Very satisfied with the service, will be using them again.

I used Cutter's for the end of 2012, and all of 2013. In the beginning, the service was outstanding. Over time, that changed. First, I have to say the quality of the work was usually good. And everybody at Cutter's is polite, friendly. I really have only one big criticism, and I hope MIkey takes this one to heart. It is something that can make, or break a new business. ***Please don't constantly reschedule with your smaller customers. And especially, don't tell them you are cancelling their job because of all the other bigger jobs you have *** After four or five times, it seemed very much like my job didn't matter. I did tell the owner I felt this way. He assured me that my business was important to him. And then he rescheduled the very next time! I decided I would find another lawn care company for 2014. I was told many times he didn't make money on the smaller jobs, and that was like he was saying; "I'm doing you a favor." If he loses too many customers, maybe he'll realize his customers are the reason he has a business. Whether they are small, or big jobs. There was several times when I had to ask/remind that weeding needed to be done every time. A couple times I was told they didn't bring the tools they needed to weed that day. What happened Cutters? You were so great in the beginning?

He did not service me, so I cannot give an overall experience. I can tell you that Mike was a very nice man who was VERY prompt in responding to me!

It was pretty good. It is not that perfect. Once they got here they were overwhelmed with all the things that we brought to them so it wasn't their fault. We gave them too much business all at once. Basically, they knew what they were doing when they got here it's just that they have to cancel and come back for the following week because they couldn't get here on time. I have to pay a little bit more because I asked for more service than he was given originally so I spent another $200 and he did some other things while he was here.

work has ever been done.After the first contact, Mike explained that he was having some labor problems and that he wanted to schedule me in with some other work he would do in the same general area to reduce costs...which was acceptable to me. That was the last time he ever contacted me. I had left him several voice messages, but he never returned any calls and no work has ever been done.

Boy were we disappointed. First of all, it took several weeks for them to show up and do the work. The work they did do looked great but we don't feel we got our money's worth. They haven't even bothered to call to see if we were satisfied. Nor did they call to let us know what was done and what was not on the day of service. Had they called, I would have asked them to do more and would have been willing to pay additional. Live and learn. I know I won't use Cutter's again and I am hesitant to try another Angie's Big Deal.

He said he will show up but he never did-he wasn't sticking to his promise. He lives on south side and I live on the east side which is too far for him. He should at least come out and look at what I needed done.

Mike and his crew were excellent! The work they did made our rental property desirable again. They were prompt, easy to get ahold of, and easy to work with. I was much impressed with the quality of their work and the enthusiasm that they attacked a major project.

I Could not have gone better. Scheduling was a breeze. The work was done on time without any unexpected costs. I am pleased with the quality of the work. Extremely friendly and professional. I will absolutely hire Cutters in the future.

It went well, except for the fact they filled my recycle bin (after the yard waste bin was full) even though there were other bins available. All in all they did a great job. I had to give them $27 cash "for tax" which seemed odd, but I was very pleased with the work they did. I will probably contact them again when all the leaves have fallen and need raking up. Mikie's son is a wonderful young man, I was very impressed with his professionalism and demeanor. A fine young emerging business man.

They did really well. They did great and they were fast. I would use them again.

They arrived promptly as scheduled and did an amazing job. It was a beautiful transformation and was beyond pleased when I came home and saw what they were able to accomplish. I have planned my scheduled lawn maintenance with them and have already discussed future large projects.

I should have called to speak to the service provider before signing up for the coupon, which I plan to do in future. The work I wanted done was some clearing of garden beds with tall weeds, weeding and clearing other beds, and getting some rampant raspberries under control, after which I wanted all the areas that had been cleared and worked on mulched. Mike came out within a few days of my obtaining the coupon to look over the job. As his business is quite a distance from where I live he didn't want to bring mulch that far, and didn't feel he could make a rough estimate of how much mulch would need to be ordered until the beds were cleared. We did set a date for the work to be done, but due to other commitments at home I wasn't able to complete measuring the beds and order the mulch in time, so had to postpone the work date. At this time I would prefer to get the yard work done, and then order blown mulch to be laid down. Mike was responsive when called and I would certainly consider using Cutters for future yard work that didn't involve mulch.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out good. They did a good job. It turned out to be way more than $249. They sent a lot of guys out here. They did an excellent clean up job and cut down a couple of trees. I needed the work done definitely, and I thought I got a good deal for what they did but it ended up costing me like $4000, so I probably would not use them again just because even though it was a good deal it just cost me more than I was anticipating. I thought the cost was high, but it was fair as I had so much work that had to be done but it was not in my budget. They just did a really good job of what they did, so I cannot complain about the work. The price for the amount of work they did was fair.

Well, to start off with, the pampas grass was really huge! The amount of work that needed to be done was more than the number of hours of labor in the deal. We did arrange to pay for more hours ahead of time. Mike was upfront about the fact that everything might not get done, and it didn't. The crew did manage to get the pampas out, but didn't get as much done as far as weeding and edging. I was a little disappointed, but not angry or anything. Mike called after the job was done and asked of I was happy. I was honest and said I was a bit disappointed that more didn't get done. Mike promised 2 guys for an hour to finish up in the front yard, as a courtesy. He asked me to be patient, and give him a call as a reminder in a week. I had a family crisis and had to fly to the Midwest. I texted Mike to remind him and let him know my husband was home. Haven't hear from him since. Can't be too upset because I never did call him, just texted and he was going to do me a favor above and beyond. I would've given him an A if he had completed the work. I would use his company again.
