Description of Work: They carpeted the stairway, two bedrooms and the hallway. The carpeting was difficult for us to find but they located it right away. The installer, James, had experience with our kind of carpet which required a lot of knowledge as it was difficult to install. He did an excellent job, was very thorough and asked our opinion all through the job.

They were flexible with schedule, and did the job in about four hours.
Description of Work: Consolidated Carpet came right away, and gave us a quote on the spot. They just did the carpets for our stairs and few bedrooms.

All went very well. We will use them again. Responsive, professional. NO problems.
Description of Work: We went to their store and looked through the selections. They brought up some of their own ideas and we found a selection that worked. After we ordered the color etc. it turned out that the company that manufactured the product was out of stock and would have more in about two weeks. I would have waited but my husband didn't want to. So, we went with a second color choice that didn't work as well. This was for a house that we were preparing for sale for an estate. The company installed the carpet and all went well. We weren't sure about a seam through the newly installed living room carpet and called the company. They came right out and looked at it and said it would be invisible in about a week or two. They were right. They did everything they promised to do. This is the second time we have used them. The first time we carpeted our whole house and spent a great deal of money on very high end carpet. It was beautifully installed and looks fantastic.

The installers came when asked, worked a hard-long day, and we've been happy with the results. I've driven by this store a million times, and figured that if they'd been in business that long, they must have something to offer. I would use this store again in my new home.
Description of Work: we needed an inexpensive, neutral-toned carpet for a house we're selling. I liked that this store had several colors to choose from and did not try to upgrade me to something I didn't need. They do offer higher quality carpet pads, and many better carpets.

We went shopping to find a company that had vinyl in stock. Some companies you had to order vinyl. This company had vinyl in stock and they put a hold on a whole role of it. Nobody else could buy it until we could got a hold of it. The flooring was the last thing that had to be done in the process. The were comparable in price with other companies. They were really accommodating.
Description of Work: We got new vinyl in the kitchen and carpet throughout because of water damage.

Excellent. They went out of their way to help us select the right carpet and let us take home samples overnight. The installers were very good and very professional and didn't bang up the walls like some installers. When we had a question about a seam showing, a rep from the store came out immediately to take a look and assured us that it was a temporary thing, that the carpet would look just fine with a bit more traffic. That turned out to be the case and we are very happy with the results.

They were cheaper than our general contractor and they were the same company that had put down our old carpet. Consolidated Carpet was the cheapest and the fastest. They were also cheaper than some chain home improvement stores. We did have some communication problems with the carpenter due to a language barrier but the carpet came out good.
Description of Work: They put down carpet in my 300 square foot basement family room in just a few hours. Our contractor had already removed the old carpeting for them.

A representative from Consolidated Carpet gave us a short notice bid on re-carpeting a 2-bedroom apartment. The carpet installers were able to accommodate our tight schedule, came on time, were professional, and did good work. I have worked with many different carpet installation companies and have always ended up disappointed. We have used Consolidated Carpet three times now and have been very pleased each time. I highly recommend this company.

THIS COMPANY PROVIDED PROMPT SERVICE AND DID A VERY GOOD JOB. THEY WERE FAST INSTALLERS AND THE PRICE WAS GOOD. I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. THE ONE PROBLEM WE RAN INTO WAS THAT THERE WERE LANGUAGE DIFFICULTIES IN GETTING THE CREW TO UNDERSTAND THAT DOORS ON OUR PROPERTY COULD NOT BE LEFT PROPPED OPEN DUE TO SECURITY CONCERNS.

THEY WERE ON TIME FOR THE APPOINTMENT. THE INSTALLER WAS VERY POLITE. HE CLEANED UP ALL OF THE DEBRIS FROM DOING THE INSTALLATION AND TOOK AWAY THE OLD CARPET. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK THEY DID.
