Its amazing how much the right color of paint can really make a difference! Renee at ColorWhiz helped me select paint colors for the exterior of my primary residence as well as the exterior and interior colors for my vacation home. Both turned out fabulous. We recently sold our primary residence and in the feedback received from the realtors several comments were made by perspective buyers on the paint colors and exterior of the home. Renee brought a unique solution in painting the garage door that really made the architectural features of the house stand out. As for the beach house, Renee helped select a relaxing color palate that all my friends and guests comment on- Sea Glass colors that coordinate well with the décor of the home, it's absolutely beautiful. Renee's selection of colors really made the place the oasis I was looking for.

Renee is an absolute professional! She took what I thought was impossible and turned it into a stunning combination of colors that both my husband and I love! We hired her because we were at absolute odds on a color for our home. She did a color consultation that brought in many factors of our likes and dislikes and managed to bring together both our differing pallete’s in a harmonious way. I would (and will) hire her again for future projects. Aside from knowing her stuff, she is a very fun and wonderful person to work with. I enjoyed her insight and humor throughout what I thought would be a stressful process.

It was perfect in every way. Renee took her time with us and we really drilled down to find the colors that were right for us. She helped us use our imaginations to find the colors we found soothing, made us happy and that went with our current furnishings. We were struggling with exterior paint on our home. We had painted a couple different areas with different colors by the time we hired Renee. She focused on who we are and what we like instead of the areas we had already painted. Renee used the landscape our home is built upon and suggested colors we would have never considered. Orange on the soffits! Really? We took her color suggestions and recommendation for the painting crew. The three story house was painted and stained in a way that makes it appear like it belongs in this setting but stands out like a jewel box in the woods. So of course we called Renee when our owners bathroom was remodeled. She helped with the design and flow and met us at a tile showroom to select tile and grout. Who knew you moisten the tile to understand how it will look while using the shower? She also helped with the marble counter top selection and referred a company for the task. The bathroom turned out great and feels like a high end spa. Renee guided us through an overwhelming amount of choices in a caring and sophisticated manner. We were suffering from analysis paralysis and the cure was ColorWhiz.

Renee was a pleasure to work with and I would be happy to refer my friends to her. She gave very focused and personalized attention to my preferences and the interior we were painting. She was flexible around the home buying process and we were able to start even before I got the keys, so that my painter had plenty of time. Her process is client focused, starting with an interview for how you will use the space and how you want it to feel. The entire time I had a say in what colors were used and where, and her input and methods helped guide us towards the final result. She went above and beyond in helping me visualize the changes to the space, so I could really understand how it would turn out. I'm now much more at home with the customizations we made. We went through nearly every room of my house: living areas, kitchen, hallways, bedroom, bathrooms, and home office.

Renee shares her creative talent freely to enrich her client’s home experience. When making the considerable investment of painting our house inside and outside we are completely satisfied due to Renee guiding the process. Hiring her was an incredible value. We won’t ever paint without her!!!

It still amazes me how Renee is able to capture out a client's personal style and make paint/color choices that feel right for the client. Renee designed our exterior house colors 7 years ago. When we hired Renee that first time, we were not looking for making a statement or anything spectacular. We were just hoping to avoid making a horrible choice in color. In the space of a few hours, Renee captured our personal style, taught us to trust our instincts for what we liked and used her expertise to design a paint scheme that is amazing. To this day, I come into my driveway, look at the outside of the house, and just love the feel of the house. We also get a lot of compliments (still) on the paint colors. Renee also has helped us with designing our interior house colors and the tile and paint for a bathroom remodel. Remodeling is generally very stressful. Renee reduces that stress. She has such energy and passion for each project. I alway come away feeling amazed by the color choices she makes.

This service provider was far reaching in “value added” to our project. This included, among other things, working with our builder and keeping us on track so we had our choices made ahead of construction schedules. There is no doubt that saved us money by avoiding change orders and delays. The scope of our project was large and the professional approach of this service was certainly up to the task. We can’t say enough good things about this about this wonderful person and the quality service she provided to us! Truly a 5 star experience!

Renee met with us multiple times to help us choose our colors. We went through sample after sample, picked out possibles, painted larger sample boards to "test drive" the colors in all kinds of light at all times of day. When we were done, we really felt great about our choices and we get lots of compliments on the colors. We especially liked the concept that Renee suggested of having an "art wall" in our dining room that is painted a rust color, which is entirely different from the other colors in the house. We would have never thought of this on our own, and we get all kinds of comments on it. We would use Renee again even in a "less challenging" house. She is simply awesome!
