Everything from design to install was excellent. We worked with Kyley to create the perfect entertainment center after meeting her at one the trade shows in Tacoma. We had her over several times to make sure everything was perfect. She was very flexible and respectful of our time. On the day of install the team was on time and very polite. The project took roughly 8 hours to complete. My young girls got a kick out of watching them put everything together. We even pointed out a mistake on the shelving alignment and they immediately ordered new shelves to be made and came back to install them the very next week. At the end of it all they even vacuumed and swept the floors in our living room. The team at Closets By Design are courteous, professional and true craftsman. We couldn't be happier with the end result.

Everything has gone much faster than we ever thought it would and the staff are friendly and very willing to please and help with anything in the plan. We have shown friends and family and all are surprised at how much space we gained with new designs.

There work was substandard. The drawers did not align. When I called to let them know that I had a problem plus I sent pictures no one returned my calls. Save yourself a lot of problems and just go to California Closets...better product.

Making the appointment was easy. I sent an email and received a quick response about making an appointment to send someone out. Dallyn arrived and we discussed some options. He used his computer to make some suggestions and gave me a preliminary price. He said they were running a special that ended the next day but he was sure there would be other specials the following month. He confirmed my phone number and email address and promised to send me a copy of the estimate. Because I was waiting on a few other quotes from other vendors, Dallyn said he would follow up in a week to check in. I waited a week but never received an email with the estimate or a follow up call from Dallyn. I wrote to the email of the receptionist who made the appointment and she promised to convey the message to Dallyn. He then sent the estimate. It appears that he got my email wrong as the estimate was dated the day we'd met. But there had been no follow up until my inquiry ten days later. I asked what the updated specials were. Dallyn said he was heading to another client and would get back to me. After nothing happened, Dallyn sent me an email saying he was moving to a different position within the company in the new few days and was trying to close out accounts. I was still waiting for the updated estimates but they never came. This whole effort was a complete waste of time. Dallyn seemed very professional and eager to help us with our project but in the end, he simply blew us off. Very disappointed with how we were treated.

They were great. I like the lady I worked with, she had good follow up , I liked the price point. Any problem I had they were right here to fix it.

the designer measured and used a computer program to design the closets with me at my home. they had a good discount and were booked out for more than a month. The office checks the designs and did address my concerns. The install was nicely completed- level and measured. I really like the design and the look. I have more useable space. Great job!

We were very pleased with the person that came out and the bid they gave us. They were very good, punctual with everything. Top notch professionalism. The estimate was fine we just have not gotten around to the project yet.

They were very good. We were happy with what they did. They did what we told them we wanted and that was the important thing to us. Did exactly what I wanted them to do. We ordered them. They came out and asked what our needs were and we told them and they put it in just exactly right or we would have had them come back and it was just fine.

We didn't end up going with them. I would consider them. They couldn't do some of the contractor work that we were looking for like carpentry. They were responsive and helpful.

I entered information online to get a closet re-do consult. They contacted me the next day and scheduled an appointment. I had something come up at work and they were very flexible to move the appointment time to meet my needs. The consultant showed up right on time and educated me on everything. He was very professional and took time to listen to my needs and help me design the best closet for my space. I decided to work with this company and purchase my new closets from them. I'll update my review when the actual install occurs with more information on price and how that went. *Review update. My closets are installed. They are beautiful and I love them. The team showed up on time as scheduled. They were professional and did a very nice job. I would use this company again.

We just moved into a new house and wanted to redesign 2 walk-in closets for added storage and hanging space. CBD sent a design consultant to the house to measure the spaces and talk through what we wanted. We solicited a few quotes and CBD's price was reasonable and slightly lower than the other estimates. The design consultant redid the drawings 3 times per my requests to modify the final designs. We signed the contract on a Friday and they agreed to install the following Tuesday. The day of install, the installer was scheduled to arrive between noon and 4pm. He was held up at another client's house due to unforeseen building problems so he didn't arrive until 5:30pm. I had to call the office a few times to get updated estimates, which was a little frustrating. Hence the C on punctuality. However, once he was here, he cranked through the install and did a great job. Everything was clean and well done. We love the new closets! I'd definitely recommend their services again. By the numbers, we increased our hanging space by about 40% and increased shelf space by about 200% in both closets. We selected basic materials and the total was just over 2k (with 10% sales tax).

We inquired Closet By Design to custom design and build walk-in closets for master bedroom, two smaller rooms and a reach-in pantry. They don't have a showroom nearby. The designer came to our house to measure the closets and she brought with her a nice catalog and some sample of color swatches. She was open to come at evening time for our convenience. After the measurement, she emailed us quotes and designs in a couple days. She made one round of revisions and emailed us updated designs. Customer service was good. We ended up hiring another company because the other company worked above and beyond to suggest changes and make updates for us over the clock to get our business. The pricing of the other company was also much more clear. For example, competitor company honors us the Angieslist discount on top of the competitive lowest price. However, Closet By Design applies it on top of a "National price" which is outrageously bumped up and they give us a "referral price" that is the going price and they said it is better than the Angielist discount. Bottom line, they don't honor the Angieslist discount.

Late to appointment then promised bid never came. A voicemail left 2 weeks later asked me "what the status was?". It seemed clear they did not want the business. I did not call back, and I never heard from them again. Went with competitor and am very happy.

The work was completed in time and in a professional manner.

Closets by Design was wonderful experience for us. We were looking out to get the closets done for our new home in Issaquah, looked at many options including Costco. Found Closets by design via Angies List and send them an email to try out. They were very responsive and got back to us to schedule an appointment for design. Designed came with the laptop, took measurements and designed the closet based on our needs while sitting at our home. We were able to provide feedback, he made finer adjustments. Estimates and pricing included designing, material, taxes and installation - no hidden costs. We placed the order, in fact we received the call that our installation could be done little earlier and we accepted that. Within two we have wonderful closets installed in our new home, absolutely the service.

We were exteremely pleased with the service. We requested quotes from three different companies and Closets by design was about 30% cheaper than the competition. We also looked at the samples the other companies provided but did not find any real difference in material quality so decided to go with this Company. Also the designer, Cherie was very friendly and never pushy. She was the first one to give us a design, and listened to use properly and incorporated all our feedbacks. While she did not have hi-tech 3-d visualization software that the others had, here designs were very easy to understand. We chose to have the old wire frames removed earlier so that I could paint the closets and the team that came to do it was done in less than an hour and placed all the wire frames properly in my garage. On the designated day the team of carpenters came in and were able to finish the work very well within the scheduled time. We have been enjoying our cabinets for a few months now and haven't faced any issues with it. We plan to get more closets done by Closets by design.

The work was completed over the course of 2 days and the guys were very professional and efficient. All the woodworking and construction was done outside, and everything was cleaned up afterwards. We highly recommend these guys!

We saw 40% off coupon from this company, so we called them and get the estimate. We also called other companies and got some estimates. Even with 40% off coupon, the price was almost same as the other companies which don't have any coupons. The designer came to our house (the designer came an hour earlier than the time the company sent us meeting conformation). She drew some sketches , gave us some ideas, which was good. However, designers are working for a commission base, they say anything to get the contract signed. She mentioned that she can send us about some extra decorating ideas which go with the new units, but we never received. I was worry about the all the wires had to go through the units, she said that the installer can do wireworks to make sure the all wires can go though the units. Off course they didn't do that. We found out that the all the wires can not go trough the wholes they cut out.nor they cut in useless spot. The installer were nice that they said that they can come back later if we need more wholes, but who wants to make time again to just make wholes. The day of the installation, the factory gave them 2 same side panels instead of right and left panels. To make it work, they had to cut 1/2" short. so they can use one panel the way around and the shelf wholes line up both sides. Overall, they are o.k, but we don't use them again with that amount of money.

Went well. The install took abit longer than I expected but worth the time spent.
