hardwood floor
+ -1 moreOriginally, service was going to be the next week and I asked if it could be done on the weekend(Saturday). It turned out that they did come out on Saturday(which was the next day from the estimate)and completed the work in one day on approximately 1000 square feet of hardwood. No payment of any kind was made until the *next* day when I arrived at the home(I hadn't moved in yet at the time)and was able to inspect the work along with the gentleman from Citywide. This was impressive to me since he didn't want to be paid until I was satisfied with the work.
Description of Work: The gentleman from Citywide arrived and the first thing he said was that the floors looked fine and didn't need any work done. This was a complete surprise but the point is that they weren't trying to sell me anything that I didn't need. Now I went over what I wanted done and of course they were happy to do it for me, his first comment was just to make it clear he was not a salesman. What I had done was a simple refinish of the very top layer of my hardwood(red oak)floor and put a coat of Bona Traffic on top(since I have kids).

+ 0 moreOverall things went pretty well and the job quality was ok. The business owner did some nice additions to floor grille and such without charging us. The mistake we made was we paid him in full before all the final details were completed and we never saw him again despite many calls and promises he would come.
Description of Work: Removed carpeting and plywood floors and installed new hardwood floors, refinished existing hardwood floor and installed new hardwood flooring on stairs.
