Very well. I was so pleased and impressed, I called them for a plumbing issue at our house, and I've referred another friend to them.

They did an excellent job. The crew had a hard time digging the trench because of the many rocks and roots from nearby trees but it all worked out. They backfilled the trench and cleaned up afterward. I have used this company before and they always came when they said they would and the quality of their work is very good.

Prompt and courteous. Explained both options of replacing the faucets (major work) or fixing the assemblies--and recommended the cheaper of the two options. Had the necessary parts and worked quickly--made sure to test. We also discussed other possible work at later date (replacing toilets) and was given advice on products to research.

Outstanding. Arrived on time, did work quickly and for minimal cost.

Great! Called 3 companies from Angie's list, and Stack returned call within the hour to perform job the next day which is great. Chris did the work. He called to see if he could come by early, which is also terrific. Very prompt, professional, courteous, pleasant and he was nice to my kitty cats which is a plus.;) I will definitely utilize them again. No complaints. Charge came in just as expected (i.e would usually be approximately a 15 minuet job which it was). Very happy.

They had done minor plumbing before for us, and we called them back. Their inspection of the crawlspace revealed too many left over rodent droppings from many years ago, which required a company to come out at $5,000 to clean up the mess and install R-30 insulation and wrap all heating ducts. (That was WELL worth it). They answered messages promptly and answered questions clearly, with a sense of humor. Sometimes the work was delayed waiting for parts or a worker to recover from serious illness, but that makes sense to me. So it was spread out over a couple weeks. When the work was attended to, it went quickly. In two days we had so much pressure in our pipes, we had to stop turning them on full blast by habit. That would spray water all over! It was GREAT! Our showers are now quicker and far more pleasant. Hot water arrives MUCH quicker, and the entire family is happy with the results.

Pros: Responded the next day; showed up on time; got the job done. Cons: Spent quite a bit of time trouble shooting areas that were very tangentially related to the pressure relief valve. Due to the extra time, the price got a bit steep. Felt like they turned a 15 min job into an hour.

The estimator called and told me he was unable to show up today.

I had a great experience with Stack Plumbing. Mike was not only on time, but a bit early. He suggested that I cover the fan vent to see if it effected the smell, which it did. He didn't charge me for the visit and gave me some loose ideas on costs of some possible future plumbing issues. I plan on calling them when we need a plumber.

Technically their work was good, but their attitude was very bad. I had explained to him my situation that was out of the ordinary and had asked him to do a small favor for me. Before I even told him what I needed him to do, he said in a harsh tone "we don't do favors". I just wish that they could have had a better attitude. The work was fine.

They promptly got me on their schedule. Showed up on time, were friendly and down to business.

We could not be happier with the service or quality offered by Stack Plumbing. Mike arrived when he said he would and called beforehand. He worked quickly and efficiently and carefully reviewed everything with us. Mike also noticed that the exhaust pipes from our furnace needed to be replaced and was able to recommend a good contractor.

I initially called late on a Friday afternoon and left a message. I was not expecting to hear back until Monday, but did get a call confirming that my request was not an emergency and that Jim would call me Monday morning. Jim called before 9 AM Monday and clearly explained the charges and answered all of my questions. I did have to wait a week to get an appointment, but took that as confirmation that I was working with a reputable plumber. I could have gotten a cheaper hourly rate from one of those large companies, but felt much more comfortable hiring this professional father/son team. Mike called before he arrived and was very professional, friendly and neat. He also worked quickly (a plus when you pay by the hour!) I would definitely recommend Mike and Jim Stack. We have already asked them back to replace our hot water heater.

Talked with Jim on the phone. Very nice. Mike came and was professional and worked hard. He was courteous enough to ask if he could come and go through the front door or knock each time. One part did not fit or was defective and he had to replace that but unfortunately we were charged for that time. Be sure to get an hourly rate before you schedule and watch the clock of when they arrive and when they leave like with all plumbers.

MIKE WAS ON TIME, EXTREMELY ACCOMMODATING AND PLEASANT. HE AND JIM WENT TO A LOT OF EFFORT TO FIND THE WATER FILTER CARTRIDGE (WHICH HAD BEEN DISCONTINUED). THEY WERE VERY CONSCIENTIOUS AND EFFICIENT. I THOUGHT THEY WERE REASONABLY PRICED.

The overall experience was great with Stack plumbing. Mike Stack would return my calls and answer any questions I had about the install or things needed for the service on a timely manner. He and the plumber, Mike smallen were very professional and polite. I was very happy with the service and they showed up on time and finished within the time frame given. I will use them again for any plumbing project.

Every point of contact was great. He responded quickly to my email, showed up exactly when scheduled (and even called first to say he was on the way), and was professional, courteous and competent.

THEY WERE ABLE TO COME OUT RIGHT AWAY.

IT WAS ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT. WE HAVE DEALT WITH OTHER PLUMBERS THAT WE HAVEN'T BEEN PLEASED WITH THE JOB. WHETHER MR. STACK HIMSELF COMES OR HIS EMPLOYEES COME, THEY HAVE ALWAYS DONE A FIRST CLASS JOB THE FIRST TIME.

THEY DID EXCELLENT WORK AND THEIR PRICE WAS BETTER THAN MOST OF THE ESTIMATES WE HAD FOR THE SAME JOB. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME, WERE VERY NICE AND CLEAN, DID NOT LEAVE A MESS. WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN IN A HEART BEAT.
