Parts replacement was efficiently performed and modest water drip eliminated. Upon use next day, noticed that water pressure was reduced in the warm/hot water mode compared to pre-installation condition and was much less than in the cold-water mode. Checked all other water faucet outputs in home, which were still providing identical level of pressure in hot and cold water modes, so called contractor for opinion. During followup visit, quick tests verified problem was not at the main water shutoff valve, so contractor offered to remove new nozzle and look at replacement cartridge. Before starting, contractor reviewed water flow in second bathroom shower, which contractor thought had a slight reduction as well. (There indeed was a shallower flow at immediate handle turn-on, but not at the full-pressure warm/hot water use level. Similar to a properly functioning car, when you press the accelerator, it goes faster till you reach appropriate speed--ditto this faucet outflow). After technical discussions of how water flows through valves, quality of the replacement snout, and useful life of gas water heaters, decided not to proceed with more work. Contractor offered to come back anytime and recheck unit. I believe staff are competent and well-intentioned. I take some personal responsibility for not observing the flow output upon cartridge replacement and approving the replacement snout before installation. Given invested cost and time plus reduced unit functionality, I'd rather have the drip. :-) That said, I'd hire this contractor again but ask questions both in advance and during the job.

He's great and has even given me estimates to where he's given me a better price than expected. He's very professional and clean. He is so nice and will even help out with the smallest things and go out of his way to do it. He is very punctual as well... there was an instance where he was 10 min late and called to let us know.

Great response time. Mike (the plumber) knew his profession and was polite.The needed part was no longer available and to replace the old part with a new and updated part would require going through the kitchen wall. It wasn't a huge leak (shower control) so it could wait a few days but I had to do some shopping and planning before tearing the kitchen apart. After agreeing we would finish up on another visit I was charged $158.78 for the first half hour . I explained I felt the fee was excessive since nothing was repaired and considering we were talking about a fairly involved job to be done on a following visit. After paying told them I would go elsewhere to have the work done. Mike (the plumber) was still very professional and was polite.

Excellent experience. He was on time, very efficient, focused, and we in and out in about 30-40 minutes.

Kevin was great to work with, prompt, friendly, very professional. My brother looked over his shoulder and said that he was very impressed, very clean work, knew what he was doing, doubled checked his work to ensure all was correct and validated no more leaks, YEAH!

He came the day after I called, was polite and professional, and fixed the problem.

Our tech came out and he was very knowledgeable with the homes in our neighborhood. He'd solved the very same issue in our neighbor's home months before! Having the same floor plan, he already knew he had to climb 4 feet off the ground in a tiny closet accessing a small crawlspace door behind 2 pipes. I was betting he'd never be able to get into the space! Where there's a will, there's a way! He fixed it in the minimum amount of time and now we have great water pressure! Happy campers!!

I contacted Stack Plumbing to do a water heater change on a "labor only" basis. I have had some success with this in the past with another provider and wanted to work with Stack Plumbing because they were highly rated. The best way the labor method works is if you purchase your own water heater and accoutrements (overflow tank, earthquake straps, overflow piping, etc.), and have the contractor bring it home or find a way to bring it yourself. You then drain the old water heater in advance. This saves a lot of time. If a plumber is willing to it per hour, you can save a lot of money this way. Stack plumbing offered just one flat price - $1250 for everything - heater, haul-away, labor, and getting it to code. This wasn't a bad deal, but not the flexibility I had hoped for.

Our Toto Vespin wouldn't flush. We plunged, we snakes, no luck. It was difficult to find a plumber that works with Toto products, but Stack Plumbing does! I called on Monday evening and was able to get an appointment for the next day! Somehow, the issue resolved itself and I was able to cancel the appointment and Stack plumbing was very kind. I will use them in the future

Kevin arrived on time and finished the job quickly and without incident. He is always professional and courteous.

I was looking for broken pipes after a real cold period and was shaking the inlet pipe into the main bathroom. The pipe flexed a little and started leaking just inside of the wall. I couldn't get to the joint and knew that I needed a professional to remove and replace part of the pipe. There was very little pipe to work with and I couldn't turn off the water before the leak in the line. Had to turn off the water to the entire house and called many plumbers who were all busy with burst water pipes. Mr. Stack himself said that he would try to find an hour after he dispatched all of his workers and came through with a quick visit and repair that his years of experience made possible.

We had a wonderful experience with Stack Plumbing. They gave us a very fair price on our water heaters and suggested a better, more efficient way to set them up. They came out to set them up a few days after our initial phone call. They were courteous and did a wonderful job. I would use this company again.

Called Stack Plumbing from Florida on a driday, They came right away and noticed there was more of a probloem than a leaking hot water tank. The plumber had my daughter flush and the backwash spewed all over him. he took care of all the problems.

$359 for an hour and 12 min??? Our faucett. That is $240 an hour for labor. Stack plumbing showed up as promised and worked on our faucett install for 1 hour and 12 minutes. ( He was here for one hour and 1/2 but the last 20 min was writing up the bill (8 min) in his truck and checking our water heaters, after asking if there were anything else he could help with as he was now "off the clock". He looked at them and said we were due new ones soon. ) We thought the faucett job was done well but charged about $100 too much. Although they quoted me $140 an hour on the phone for labor, their actual hourly rate is $240 an hour, based on a $300 charge for an hour and 12 min. (1 1/4 hour). Plus the $25 part ($8 at home depot) and tax equals the $359. They are too pricey for us.

Jim went out of his way to schedule me in and get my issue resolved. Mike came to fix it. He told me exactly what he was going to do and did it very efficiently. He brought everything he needed. I appreciated that he rolled up my carpet and laid mats on the floor to protect it. Jim and Mike were so incredibly courteous and quick. Really great job done. Very professional. Highly recommend them.

We had a sink that was plugged. Our "snake" would not clear the drain. Called Stack Plumbing which once was a very good company. The person who came out was efficient, but rather dour and not a real "people" person. That was ok, but then the bill was presented. Plumbers are expensive, but to be charged for the use of their "snake" was a bit much. That is like a car mechanic charging for the use of his tools on top of his labor and suppI should have charged him for parking his truck in my driveway. Bottom line, I would not recommend Stark Plumbing.

Called Stack Plumbing 5:00pm on the day after Christmas with a broken water line in a bathroom. They said they could come out the next morning. Mike arrived right on time and fixed the pipe in about 15 minutes. Very happy with the work.

When I could not clear my clogged kitchen sink/disposer drain myself, I called Stack Plumbing. I was very pleased with the quick response and expert, efficient service provided. All of my questions were answered, some good tips and valuable information were received, and my plumbing problem was fixed neatly and without mess. I will probably be upgrading my disposal unit sometime in the near future, also my instant hot water faucet, and I will definitely be calling Stack Plumbing for equipment and installation.

Mike did a great job! He was on time, got the work done efficiently, helpful and very kind to explain what he was doing to my elderly parents. First time I have ever had a tradesman come on time. He was very professional and I will call Stack Plumbing again for any plumbing work that I need done. They come with my recommendation!

I called for an appointment on Wednesday. Mike showed up first thing Friday morning and quickly confirmed that it was the valve that was the problem. The valve is located in the back corner of my garage behind my hot water heater so I thought for sure he'd need to move the hot water heater to replace it. He managed to get in there and replace it without having to do so, though, which impressed me. He also did a good job of explaininag exactly what the problem was and why the valve had cracked and switched me to a better valve type so I wouldn't have the problem again in the future. It took about an hour overall. I was quite happy with both the work and the cost.

We thought we had something blocking a downstream line. Mr. Stack inspected the system. He did find a failed vent valve that was a contributing factor but advised against the expense of clearing our line. He reccomended instead we get our septic tank pumped first as it had been a while, and it turns out he was correct. We appreciated his integrity in advising against expensive work that turned out not to be necessary, and we did get the vent valve issue corrected.

Kevin did a great job. He arrived 15 minutes late due to snow and did not call before arriving. But once at our home he took the time to fully understand what we needed done before starting the clock. We were doing a powder room renovation but discovered that the 40 year old plumbing connections did not match the new connectors. I emailed them one evening and received an email back right away. I then received a call at beginning of business the very next day and was able to schedule a plumber for the next day. Kevin was professional,did a great job and left everthing tidy and clean. The cost was as quoted and was reasonable. I marked down punctuality simply because they didn't call to let me know he would be a bit late, although the reason was completely understandable.

The scheduler was friendly. The service man was punctual, professional, and efficient. The bill was accurate. They gave me an Angie's place discount. The entire experience was pleasant. The next time I need plumbing, I'll call Stack.
